I cant even explain how delicious the food is here. It as absolutely amazing and the prices are not even high. Me and my family would always come out stuffed. This restaurant has a very special place in my heart and i am looking forward to coming back again.

It was my birthday, I had a memorable time with family. The YC global buffet staffs were amazing 👏.

Good all round, good food, service and atmosphere. Staff were generally friendly. Good selection of food. It wasn't quite excellent but I think it would be difficult to get excellent on a buffet as you must cater for everyone. The male toilet sinks need a thorough clean and that is my only negative.

Food quality not great and there is something that makes you feel full by eating this food even if you have eaten much.

I had a very disappointing experience at YC Global Buffet recently. I took my 8-year-old son there for his birthday because of their advertised policy that says you eat free on your birthday. The staff even sang "Happy Birthday" to him, which was nice. But when it came time to pay, they asked me for an ID for my son! When I explained he doesn’t have one, they insisted I provide a birth certificate just to get the free meal, which felt excessive and frankly ridiculous. It was frustrating and embarrassing, and I felt the Indian staff showed a lack of understanding about basic customer service. It’s disappointing to see such an unprofessional approach. We usually visit Cosmo in Bristol for these occasions, where I’ve never been asked for an ID for a child. After this experience, I won’t be coming back to YC Global Buffet. I’d strongly recommend management to train their staff on better ways to interact with customers.

Lovely lunchtime at the buffet. Only downside to the visit was that the floor to the toilets and inside the womens toilets were incredibly slippery. Food was lush. Timing was brilliant as it wasn't too busy. Staff were all really friendly. My daughter had a lovely birthday meal. Thank you. We'll come again soon :)

Really poor. This used to be a go to and really good but now it's just bad. Tonight there was obviously an event on but when getting food noticed there was a young girl with a puppy on her lap in the restaurant. So hygiene is obviously not that important as when I pointed it out the staff member just said yes and walked off. Just don't waste your money

Always come here for birthdays or any celebration my children love it! Such a lush variety of food all fresh and tasty definitely value for money. Plus if its your or your kids bday you get your or their meal free. Huge space massive tables and small ones with plenty of friendly staff absolutely recommend this place 10000%

Nice restaurant clean and staff are very friendly we have been a few times and have had a pleasant experience on every visit and if its someone's birthday as long as they have I'd they eat free

The service we received at this restaurant was impeccable, 1st class. Their staff were very polite and friendly. They were serving with smiles on their faces. Nothing was too much to ask. We went there for our son's 13th birthday and he had such a lovely time. Also had a free meal (proof of DOB with picture required) The food was bursting with flavours. It's very tasty and yummy dishes. 1st time, I'd go to a Chinese buffet and not eat rice/noodles. I had all kinds of prawns with brocoli and potatoes with parsley. It was delicious. I didn't miss the rice or noodles at all. I'll definitely be going again. I have been to 2 other buffets before this one, but YC Global Buffet beats the other 2 hands down.

Large selection of different food available - usually I like to try at least one mouthful of everything in buffet places, but had to admit defeat here before a 'Mr Creosote' moment occurred!

Not a global buffet- Chinese buffet and a few other dishes and not the greatest Chinese food at that. Staff are lovely though and really helpful!

FOR THE NEXT FRENCH, if you are at the hotel opposite or at the other end of the town of Swindon, don't miss this restaurant, everything is good, there is a choice and the funny thing is that seen as pure French, we don't understand anything about what's there, we're surprised but never disappointed with what we eat, the staff is nice and makes you want to come back!!

I arrived around 8.30pm last night. The waiter took me to my table and told me that they’d start to clear everything by around 9.45pm, as they close at 10pm. I said this was fine, as I assumed I had plenty of time. I couldn’t have been more wrong, as they started clearing things up by 9pm!! I also advised him that I’m vegetarian, and he told me that most of the dishes were meat-based, but I still managed to eat a little. As I was quite limited due to being vegetarian, I hoped I could have more desserts to get what I paid for, as £20.99 is a LOT of money for eating only 5% of what’s there. After dinner I was still hungry and certainly was not getting what I paid for at this point. I was working my way around the sections and saw that there was also vegetable sushi, so I was going to get that after finishing my second plate. By around 9pm, it was gone, alongside many other dishes. Then by around 9.15pm, all the dishes were starting to be cleared then by 9.20pm they were mopping the floors! (Despite there still being around 7-8 tables of customers eating!) I also suffer from chronic back pain, and I have a visible limp, so once the floors had been mopped, I wasn’t able to go up to get more food or drinks. I got the unlimited drinks, but I only had 1 refill and this cost me almost £5. Due to the floors being mopped, I couldn’t get any more food or drink after 9.15pm. The vast majority of the desserts, including the chocolate fountain, were gone by 9.15 too. There was just jelly and some cheap looking cakes left, which were not appetising in the slightest. I find it ridiculous that they said they’d be clearing everything by 9.45pm, when they had actually began to do that by 9pm. I’ve never seen buffet staff act as ridiculous as this. I had no choice but to leave by 9.30pm, and still rather hungry as I didn’t get to eat everything that I wanted to. It came to almost £24.73, which is an absolute ripoff considering that most of the foods were gone shortly after I arrived. They should say that they close at 9.30pm, not 10pm if this is how they do things. Clearing things by 9.45pm means clearing things at that time or SLIGHTLY before, not 45 minutes before! It was a Monday night, so I have no idea what their rush was, but I feel like I’d been completely ripped off. As a vegetarian, like I said I was mostly hoping for the desserts, but those were all gone by around 9.15pm. They should not lie to customers saying that they’d start clearing things by 9.45pm, when they start doing that at 9pm. I was already so limited as a vegetarian, but then even more limited in terms of time as well. So avoid coming here if you’re vegetarian, but equally avoid it if you’re planning to go 1.5 hours before closure! What an absolute joke.

This restaurant absolutely blew me away. The food is delicious and plentiful, the staff are attentive and helpful and I’m struggling to find fault with it. I’m full up and happy. Would 100% recommend!

The food is so tasty here ! 2 adults, 2 kids refill drinks 73 quid. Not bad at all. Deffo be coming back there again. !

I booked for a birthday meal 2 hairs was found in a mozzarella cheese bite then a hair was found in a pork dish when asked to speck to manager he stated it was not a hair it was from the prawns it was definitely not anything to do with prawns!! it was definitely hair !!!!. Also if this was the case why is the food being made around the fish somone that is allergic to fish might have chose the cheese bites due to allergies i will never recommend this restaurant nore will I ever eat there again some of the staff was ride and was laughing at the fact there was hair in the food shocking!!!!

How I wish they had an outlet in London. The waiters are friendly, and the food (fresh) keeps refilling constantly. Kids friendly.

This was a very good buffet experience. We had a fine in and the meals I had were all delicious - duck rice, ribs, shredded fried chicken, green Thai soup. I don’t think they have the best dessert as the ice cream was pretty basic. The atmosphere can also be quite rowdy considering it’s a buffet service, so it’s okay for families, kids , birthday celebrations etc. All in all it was a good experience.

Food is OK but staffs are like eager for us to finish our meal quickly and leave.

Excellent service great food wonderful staff. Shame my 11 year old grandson was charged as an adult for his meal as he was over the height marker they have on the wall. When I queried the bill I was told it is company policy.

We visited and the food was delicious and all you can eat for a good price. The drinks are extra on top that you pay for but it's refillable and lots. You can have free water instead if you want to save. It was a quiet day so the restaurant was closing sections earlier but they informed all customers beforehand so that we can pick up or order in advance. The staff were polite, kind, informative and always made sure of our safety e.g. if they were mopping the floor. I really did enjoy the place, the food and services. However we got food poisoning... I puked 7 times that night as soon as I left the restaurant, couldn't sleep, puked in morning and wasn't able to eat till afternoon... after that we both had watery poo and went to get medicine. I didn't even go to work... I'm not sure what caused it, but we avoided eating mussels as these are the easiest cause in restaurants - so it may have been other seafood we ate there.

Variety of food dishes,Asian,Indian, Thai & European All well cooked. It is self service & you can eat all you want. Good choice of desserts. Drinks are extra works out around £21 per head. If you have a Birthday in your party, The birthday guest eats for free, on proof of birthday (eg. Driving licence). Overall a different dining experience. Only down side Luke warm coffee, which needed rectifying. Give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Went here for a works lunch food was excellent good value for money friendly staff the only issue we had is with the larger. The pipes needed cleaning as the drinks tasted off.

Used to be very good. Last 2 times eaten there, food luke warm and subsequently sick the next day on both occasions.

Phoned up to make sure they was open. Traveled from gloucester as they said was open. Got there to be told they're now closed with doors left open. Pregnant partner asked to use the toilet with the response as a yes. Employee then came back and said no and got told to leave. No communication through staff and no attempt to contact us back to say they were closing. Will never visit here again

I am very disappointed with the food at the restaurant, I went to dinner on Thursday with a friend and I have an intestinal infection, I didn't go to work today because I have vomiting and diarrhea. I believe that the food is not prepared on the same day and is reheated. I used to go to this restaurant for years but now I won't go anymore because I'm worried about having an intestinal infection again.

There selection of food was amazing and we were spoilt for choice, there iscalso a fresh cooking counter. Lots of seafood options Drinks were brought to our table swiftly. If I return to this part of the world, I will dine here again.

This has been my sons favourite place to eat forever but on our most recent visit I was utterly appalled. 1...having removed ANOTHER chicken dish from their starters section, I now feel that the starters are all British. Not what you expect in what people refer to as 'all you can eat Chinese.' If I wanted cocktail sausages, chicken nuggets and curly fries, I could stay home and it would have been warm instead of my stone cold starter. 2....It was clearly evident within a very short period of time that they had over-booked as all the plates ran out and everyone was left waiting. When the plates finally arrived I lifted the top one off, which was clean, for my mum. The next 8 plates had rice, bits of sauce and noodles still clinging to them. I went to the other end of the cart to try the pile there and when I looked back at my mum, the lady with the plate cart was flicking the food off the pile of dirty plates with a cloth I wouldn't clean my floor with, and then stacking the dirty plates back in with the clean pile. It was quite disgusting to see. Returning to the table, we then found we were unable to eat our food as they had run out of clean cutlery. 3....Finally we went to chose a desert, only to find that they were all empty, except ice-cream or the chocolate fountain. Yet another wait! Not great as they have also lowered the table time and people do like to talk when they meet up. I totally understand that it was a busy night, but I have eaten there regular enough to have seen it busier. As their prices have risen but their standards have dropped, I don't think I will be going again.

It's £20 a person but great selection, must try the teppanyaki station. Friendly staff, regular cleaning of stations, food areas, tables and floors. Would recommend for a pan Asian buffet

Great selection of delicious food!! Would go again in a heart beat. Lots of different dishes, much more budget friendly than the other Chinese Buffets in the local area and better selection. The chocolate fountain was a win with the kids and adults!

Really bad food. Was so bland and tasteless. Everything was greasy. Really poor quality wouldn't recommend. Best thing there was the grapes to cleanse the grease from your mouth after eating

Avoid going over a friday night without booking as there might be a long wait, but the best dinner spreads are the weekend ones.. itsbour family favourite place to hang out and the food quality is seriously good.

Have been before and enjoyed it. But tonight we arrived at 8:30pm, supposed to close at 10pm, so thought we had plenty of time to use the buffet restaurant. Very wrong! There were only a handful of tables being used. But as soon as we sat down we were asked to use teppanyaki straight away because it was closing and did we want to use the chocolate fountain because that was closing too! The buffet sections were half empty and looked dry from the heat lamps above. Then it was difficult to manoeuvre the food stations because they were mopping the floors. Was shocked when they still charged full price when we left (felt like we were pushed out when they began mopping next to our table) i don’t think we will be visiting again 😞

It is not bad at all, but could improve a little on the chooses of food available. Maybe a change of menu for different days. The Teppanyaki also can improve, you stand waiting for a long while to have the “experience” of live cooking, only to be disappointed with three strips of calamari. The staff have always been helpful and pleasant. For people that don’t enjoy self serving, loud chatter, children and busy evenings. Then I would recommend elsewhere. Overall a great place to eat if you leave your high horse at the door. Oh, and about free Wi-Fi, you won’t need it.

Hanmdnt been here for years but it was good. Food was kept topped up and not in such big containers as i remember Plenty of options to start and for main Lots of kids favs too like chips, nuggets and onion rings etc

It’s what you expect from a buffet all you can eat. Some stuff you will love and some you won’t. I would return for sure, it’s good value.

Quality was Average but has good wide selection

Absolutely dreadful I've just left and can feel the food poisoning coming on already, if you have ever wandered what food from Iceland taste like go here everything was basically microwaved and put in a trough for every child in the place to shove their hands in, it was absolutely disgusting there was what looked like poo on the ceiling in the men's bathroom I will definitely never be eating here again.

Myself and 3 grandaughters popped in sundaY lunchtime and had a very enjoyable meal staff are always very good and helpful.

Its good place for meat and seafood eater. Foods were not tasty and small flies were there on the cakes. Indian foods were cold and it was not freshly cooked. Not even one day old. Live counter is best. If you are a Chinese food lover, this is a must try place. Sad part is they charged £7 for my 16month old who ate two cubes of watermelon. So for 2adults and one toddler we paid £50

We loved the food , however, we were basically kicked out as we had only just gone to get our food when a server ask us if we were finished to then put a highchair at our table even thought there were plenty of empty tables. If this is the way we are treated, I don’t think we will be coming back

Food was dry unless in sauce desserts were very good, atmosphere is nice, very warm in there. plates were taken before we were finished. And birthday meal was not honoured for a 12 year old child, asked for I.d even though had cake, presents cards and around 12 people attending. Plus the mum had d.o.b and name of daughter tatooed.still not accepted, Also my son who has additional needs who did not eat because of medication, he was charged full adult price. Really dissapointed with the service. Also the lady behind the till sneezed towards me and I've woken up with a cold today. If your going for a birthday take all your paperwork file!

Edited Sept 14th: okay so I decided to come back for dinner and wow.. it’s delicious. So many more options to choose from and food is very fresh and tasty. Things like pork belly, lamb belly, tempura, Indian, etc.. If you really want to enjoy a good buffet, come here for dinner and bring an extra stomach! Not bad, but not great.. maybe it’s because I was there for lunch on Saturday, but the main reason I went was because of crab stick tempura and that Japan portion of the buffet was closed.. place was busy and quality seemed fine (3 stars originally).

Poor choice of food....Trays were not being refilled....staff were miserable and we were asked to leave 15 minutes before closing. Won't be going back.
