The food was really nice and was made rather promptly despite the place being really busy. The prices are a little expensive. The service could be a little better, it seems like they could benefit from employing an extra person to help make thing easier for the other servers. It felt like they were caught off guard with it being busy at lunchtime. None of the servers smiled.

Taking full advantage of the wonderful space within this heritage industrial complex, the restaurant is bright and spacious, each table enjoying its own space set within contemporary interior design. The extensive menu never fails to satisfy all tastes, familiar favourites enjoy equal space with more recently introduced menu options. 5 out of 5 for cleanliness, service, quality of food and price. Thanks Pizza Express for creating another unique dining experience. P.s. For steam locomotive fans it doesn’t get any better……. A static exhibit is installed right outside the door to the restaurant!

Nice place to have pizza, but it is horrifically expensive. 2 adults and a child £72. It's nice but not £72 nice. Felt like I had been robbed.

We frequent Pizza Express at the Designer Outlet in Swindon, and the service is always amazing. However, our server today, Allan, was impeccable. Allan made our dining experience truly exceptional.

It was very busy when we arrived with hardly any tables available. The meeter and greeter was very efficient and got us a table - people behind us were turned away. The waitress was quick and very friendly/ helpful. The food was good and enjoyable Would recommend

Ok but full of noisy children and food was just average

Our waiter, Max, was a wonderful young man and excellent at providing good service for us. He made our dining very pleasant and we had no troubles the whole night.

We had mother 7 year olddaughter dinner date. We had excellent time and staff made it more excellent. Food was amazing and delicious. Trio cheesy dough ball is much taste is cheese lover and cheesecake was delicious. Worth money and time spend..

Hi travelled from London to meet friends coming from Cardiff. Swindon is halfway. The pizza express there is fab. We arrived in a Saturday at about 1.w5 so it was busy but we only queued for about 5 mins and got a table for 5. From start to finish the service was great, the food lovely. Can't praise the staff enough, they were efficient, friendly and very competent.

Came on a Sunday (I know bad idea) but the food here was fresh and tasted delicious. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh, and the waiter gave some great recommendations. As with any pizza express, you have to get the dough balls. The Njuda ones are my favorite and they come out as hot as hades but taste sooooooo good when they've cooled down a bit. I got the burnt ends pizza without onions and this reminded me of what a great BBQ pizza should taste like. It was too much for one sitting but was still good a few hours later at the hotel. The pesto chicken pasta was very good too!

Staff did a fantastic job with us having quite a large party, several allergies and one group of our party coming quite late. We really appreciated the patience and understanding from the staff members.

Busy time of the day, we were given a time slot then still had to wait ages upon return. Rather spoilt the experience. The staff were working hard but could have done with more of them. They were polite and friendly even under pressure. £24+ for a pizza was expensive given the circumstances

For a group of 30 people to all get exactly what they ordered at more or less the same time is just brilliant. Everything was perfect.

As usual, really good Pizza Express with really helpful staff that could seat us straight away. We tried to book online via the app, but it said it wasn't available so assume you can't book. They can cater for gluten free easily so highly recommend. Good wheelchair/pram access and space. Toilets located between the kitchen and bar area.

After a successful shopping trip to the Swindon Outlet, myself and partner called into our favourite restaurant to see if they had a table for 2. Immediately seen to a table, the restaurant felt clean and tidy and had a lovely atmosphere. We ordered our favourites Hot Honey doughballs, garlic bread, calzone and fudge cake for pudding. Each was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh - Pizza Express never disappoints. The staff were friendly and really helpful, with comfortable and short wait times. Pooped in for a lunch time break and something to eat. We were seated immediately and the staff were attentive and very pleasant. Ordered a pizza and the food was delivered swiftly. The pizza was delicious and more than sufficient for a 'pit stop'. The service as said was very good and the staff were friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

This resturant seems to be a hub for all the justeat/deliveroo companies so kitchen staff were frantically pushing out orders but whole resturant was sat waiting for food. Messed up a bunch of people's orders would no go back to this one again only used it as old town was fully booked

Amazing dinner last night because of our lovely waiter Andy who gave us great recommendations and was very attentive!

It’s not the first time we’ve been to this branch and left disappointed (speed and accuracy of order have been a problem on almost every visit) but today’s trip was unfortunately the worst. There was a very long wait on food with no prior warning. We were initially served the wrong dough balls which was spotted by staff several minutes after (we realised it wasn’t our order and tried to alert staff) and the order that had been sat on our table was then re-delivered to another table and we received ours direct from the kitchen. We had asked for water and were given a jug with no glasses. We had to ask two different staff members to get glasses. We weren’t offered another opportunity to order any other drinks. The waitress let us know after about 35-40 minutes waiting for main courses that they had a backlog of orders, we wouldn’t have ordered knowing this. Approximately 45 minutes after ordering our food arrived. My partners was burnt so he sent it back immediately, he was offered a replacement but he didn’t want to wait again. I ate a couple of slices of the pizza I ordered and it was extremely over seasoned with black pepper and salt. After two slices I couldn’t eat anymore. When the waitress came to collect our plates I let her know and she offered a box to take it home, as it wasn’t really edible I declined. She told me it was meant to be spicy. The problem wasn’t that it was too spicy, it was the black pepper and salt. She went to speak to the manager. The manager was very apologetic, and dealt with the situation well. He took the pizza away and gave us the remainder of our bill on the house. However, we were then left with no more service. Our daughter was crying as her meal comes with dessert (which she had already picked at the start) and it didn’t look like we would be receiving any more service. We left and went elsewhere. I’m not sure what leads to such delays in service and problems with orders in this branch but I don’t think we will return.

Fresh pizza and pasta, portions are big but then again you pay for it.

Always incredible food and service, I have been to the two in Bath and the other one in Swindon, as well as other ones whilst traveling. Pizza Express Designer Outlet has the best quality of food and service by a mile. Food is always hot and extreamly tasty, service is very fast, friendly staff, amazing value for money as a gold member. Can't wait until it opens again after its re-fit to see what it's like! Massive thank you to the chefs, waiting staff and managers for providing the best run pizza express I have ever seen!

My family love pizza's from Pizza Express, so we come here quite often. I have marked one start down because we always find the service at this restaurant very slow. We always wait so long to be served, plates collected and to pay so its a bit annoying. The staff are friendly though!

Nice restaurant and friendly staff. Although obviously a chain, it feels family run. You cannot go wrong with Dough Balls (and a Peroni) followed by La Reine (and a Malbec). This is my happy place, like Cheers (but Swindon, not Boston). Popped-in after work yesterday and was served by the lovely Molly. Customer service is more about attitude than anything else. And Molly delivered on that. So I have now upgraded my previous 4* to 5*. Good job, Molly.

Always good hot food here. Service is quick, plenty of choice. Portion sizes are good. Good family restaurant. Seating is limited. But can taste away or be put on the waiting list and shop until ready. Is quite cold in there though.

Good food, but let down by it being freezing cold inside. No warning to say there is no heating. We all sat in our big coats to eat.

Cold, drafty and expensive. Has about as much atmosphere as a brick in winter. Carbonara pasta was awful, worst I have had. Throw a whole pot of cream and some cheese on pasta with some tiny shreds of ham and charge £15. Pizza bases waffer thin. Where has Pizza express ended up.

Hello! I went out and did some Christmas shopping with my daughters and me. We made a decision to go to Pizza Express. Usually im not a fan of this restruant because of the bad experience with other branches in the past. However, I was overwhelmed with the service provided. A long-haired gentleman went out of his way to make sure everything was okay. Great food and staff! We will be returning again soon. ( When a couple left their table, the manager got someone to wipe it all down right away, what was good to see )

I went with my sister after a day of shopping in the outlet and the food and service was fantastic. The food came hot and delicious! The staff were all lovely and very friendly. Greeted at the door and on the exit. Highly recommend will definitely be going again!

me and my partner came for food this evening, exceptional food and service from the young gent serving our table. however, a gent with long hair and a beard who seemed to be the manager on shift seemed more interested in his ‘only i can assume’ girlfriend, stood hugging her at the door of the restaurant for 10 mins for all customers to see. didn’t seem very professional at all.

Met friends for lunch. Have not had a pizza in years!! It was delicious. I had one that was lighter with the middle replaced by salad, it was very good. I was delighted to see gluten free options available.

I had American hot thin pizza here which was quite nice, although difficult to eat as it was tricky to cut and flopped when you pick it up because it is too thin. Tasted quite nice though. It is probably one of the nicer restaurants at the outlet inside, but there are much nicer restaurants to be in away from the outlet. Staff were friendly and helpful so overall I am happy with the experience and would probably return if I'm at the outlet again.

i dining at pizza express during my visit to swindon outlet and what an amazing restaurant. It was a saturday lunch and was extremely busy but the lady manager said she would have a table ready in ten mins. i went back after 10 mins and was greeted with such a warm welcome, my waiter was very attentive, food was amazing and served very quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Nothing was too much trouble and the manager was amazing. What a great place to eat and i will definitely be visiting again.

This is by far the best Pizza express I've been to the staff were fantastic with my 6 and 2 year old a real family atmosphere The Manager Hilary is so nice nothing is to much trouble she is always happy to help, always book when I'm visiting Swindon outlet the highlight of our day! food is always cooked to perfection would give 10 stars if I could.

My first time visiting the outlet and stopped by for dinner with the kids, the waiter who seated us was very welcoming and the staff were all very friendly despite it being a little busy on a Friday night. Great vegan options and our food came out in good time, will definitely be back.

Had yet another fantastic experience at the designer Outlet Swindon PizzaExpress today. Loving the new menu, but missing the pesto doughballs, I mentioned this to manager Hilary, who immediately offered to make some for me. She went out of her way to be helpful and lovely. The pesto doughballs were of course delicious, thanks to chef Bartek. Elena our waitress was very kind and helpful and so quick. Then the fabulous Bartek was good enough to make me some extra pesto doughballs to take away! What more could you ask for? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All in all a totally fantastic team, thank you. Just been to pizza express at the outlet. Had a great experience staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was lovely can especially recommend the new hoisin duck pizza it was amazing.

Very pleasant experience with my children, the waiter advised us about the rewards we could claim on our app. The price of food a drink was a bit more expensive than I would usually pay but the quality was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The waiter and (?)manager gave great customer service but unfortunately I can’t remember their names! We’ll definitely go back

Being celiac going out for meals is always stressful, pizza express do a wide range of GF options and make sure nothing is contaminated. Overall a really pleasant experience and food tasted amazing!

Unbelievable service and the lady with glasses is so accommodating. No tables but did takeaway in food court and looked after like we were eating in. Highly recommend this place and the staff are superb.

Went here for an early dinner. Jalapeño doughballs lovely as always. I had the calazone for main and that was also lovely. Could not fault the food here. Used tesco vouchers so we only paid about £10 in total which was a bonus.
