Mabel's Old Town in Swindon

We were in Swindon for the night, passing through. The Lenardo Hotel suggested this pub as nearby. Very friendly, the young lady behind the bar was very welcoming. Great live band playing, ended up staying alot longer than planned. My only one point was when asking the doorman where we could find something to eat, I found them quite rude. The answer was either go left or go right. Not really helpful. Other than that, it was a great pub to visit.

Lovely wine bar/cafe. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff, friendly, warm, and welcoming. Good Jacket potatoes and a good cake choice.

It doesn’t take over an hour to make 3 coffees and a toastie and when it got here my toastie was freezing cold and the hot coffee was like warm it’s not good enough

I had 2 cappuccinos in the terrace, brought to me by a very polite man. Later when my wife joined me we, in Carries Bar she had spaghetti and I had stir-fry. Nice food and good service, only would have preferred them to be brought at the same time. Staff worked hard and food was of great value. Will come again. Michael and Tracy
