Totally bad experience... I ordered twelve pieces of original chicken and it wasn't supposed to be spicy... because it came very spicy, my daughter and my wife are sick because of the spiciness and it's not the first time... I don't recommend it and I won't buy there again.

Just tried the wings, bought 5 for £5 which is quite expensive anyway. There was a black hair in the box, which isn’t ideal again. The wings were fairly big, but very dry. They’ve clearly been sat there a while. Wouldn’t recommend based of this visit.

Always order online from here but just ordered in person for the first time tonight. Banging burger and great hospitality, will definitely come back in any time I’m out in old town. Cheesy chips 👌

Never eating here again. Chicken burgers had half a fillet each, they put the stalk of the tomato in my burger. Very careless. Chicken was dry like it had been reheated. They wanted to charge extra £2 for a sprinkle of peri salt! Very stingey. My local chicken cottage in Slough is really good and fresh. But this was SO disappointing.

The quality of the chicken and coating lately has been really good, and always do excellent fries.

Food was horrible, the chips seemed like they were reheated in the microwave also the chicken was dry and the wrap and the salad was was soggy it semmed like they finished the order and left it sitting in a plastic bag as it was all dry and soggy the best bit was the can of coke

Very rude and crazy staff especially the ones at the counter Food was not hygenic, one of the staff told us that the restuarent uses 2 weeks old chicken PLEASE NEVER COME HERE !

I ordered a chicken fillet box meal for myself. Comprised of chips, chicken fillet burger, chicken fillet and one side of my choice plus can of drink. I chose corn on cob and 7up. I also ordered one extra corn on cob and gravy..... Driver was as friendly as the gentleman taking the order! EXCEPT dude where's my gravy?? And why are you serving unripe corn cob? And at what dark shade of brown crisp do you consider chips cooked? I cannot fault the chicken, it was well cooked and moist. But will I use this place again NO. Not as bad as Tenessee chicken that's for sure

Everytime I come here they are never open on time maybe you should change ur opening hours if you can't open on time ? Nearly 3pm and not open when it shows open at 2pm Edit: Your door sign said closed and there was a sign infront off the door who's going to come inside when it was clearly closed

Chicken cottage has gone downhill. Their wraps were very bland. The chicken tasted old and the fries were worse than aldi fries

This place was amazing! The meals were quite cheap and when ordered only had to wait about 10 mins before my order was ready, they make sure u pay before they do your order which is safe. They have a wide range of delicious burgers, chicken wings, and much more. This place was amazing and would definitely recommend this to everyone!. :)

The food was really tasty, loved it. There wasn’t any drink options for kids. The cutlery they provided was really flimsy for the food, they need some wooden forks rather than plastic cutlery, would make it easy to use for the chicken and also for the environment.

Terrible quality. The owners should visit the Chicken Cottages in London to understand the benchmark. So much sauce was provided on top of the chicken and in the burger...completely unnecessary and didnt enhance the taste.

Chiecken cottage is my go to for my night meal. The service is absolutely top and friendly, they give you the sauces you want and a good chat to end the night. It adds comfort to my day and I’m constantly talking about them to my friends. Long love chicken cottage!!! Xx

Where do I start with Chicken Cottage is the question. Whenever I appear to be having a long night, I know I can rely on my g's at the cottage to sort me out. Chicken burger, spicy chicken wrap, even down to their peri salted chips, chicken cottage do everything right. The spices that Chicken Cottage use on their chicken is amongst some of the best spiced chicken I've ever had. On the rare occasion, they will forget to add peri peri salt to the chips, but this is an easy fix as I can just apply salt myself. The portion size at Chicken Cottage is generous, I find myself being filled up after every order. Out of the over 10 times I have ordered, I have never had an order take longer than an hour to get to me. Big ups Chicken Cottage.

This is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had! Has made me NEVER want to go to nandos again!! The “hot” flavouring tasted a bit too much like barbecue and needed more HEAT/spice but was still delicious.

I passed this place a few times, and having recently went to a chain in London, my curiosity got the better of me to try this one.. The place is like a ghost town, the chickens old & cold.. I wouldn’t go again. Tennessee or Edens for fried chicken I’m afraid 🍗

Had some chips here before they closed for the night and they threw in a few chicken wings for us. Great tasty wings with the added bonus of being free of charge - the wings are definitely worth paying for though!

I’ve ordered from here a couple times and the food was great! The portion sizes are good and I couldn’t fault anything. I had a burger from here which I got as a meal and came with a big portion of chips and a few onion rings. Like some places the chips can be cold and not really taste of anything but the chips from here were great. Would definitely order from here again.

After a attending an event at the Swindon Arts Centre, we decided to find somewhere to eat. Not fancying the usual ruby, maccy dees or kfc we decided to try Chicken Cottage, which we had never been in before. The staff were very friendly, willing to accomodate and mix what ever we wanted to eat from their menu. Compared to kfc etc. the menu was quite wide and much more flexible. The food was good value, both in quality and quantity, not a scrap was left on our plates. I would heartily recomend Chicken Cottage in Swindon's Old Town instead of any other fast food resturants in Old Town.
