Burger King in Swindon

Literally always cold and/or wrong. Rude staff. Love BK but this branch is shocking. Go to McDonald’s or travel a little further and pay a little more for a service station BK.

Pure fire. Honestly it was the best experience I could ask for until my chicken royal started to taste like ash and the whole building flew up in flames and blew me away

ABOVE AVERAGE. Quick service with well prepared food. Staff helpfull and coutious. No sign of the main restaurant being finished yet.

Worst burger chain by a country mile. Chips had so much salt you could see it .... uninspiring menu, every time I go there I cringe. When it burned down it was doing Swindon a favour. In fact dont bother rebuilding it just put a Mac Donald's there instead ..... far better.

Rudest staff ever I ordered meal paid then when she gave me the food I remembered I wanted bbq sauce so I asked for it and she started moaning saying it’s going to have to be free now bc u have already paid then launched it at me through my window

I realise that everyone's tastes differ, but personally I love Burger King burgers, chips and their chilli cheese bites are out of this world, and the staff are OK. Unfortunately the inside of the restaurant is a little tatty and tired compared to all your competitors and its just not a pleasant place to sit. So have your BK as a takeaway its a win win

Food was over cooked and the restaurant was too hot. Don't fancy smoked burgers but I believe they are going for flame grilled effect.

F***king useless restaurant not only was it late but half the order was missing, after ringing the restaurant,just eat and the driver they refused to redeliver the other half of the order although we got a refund and I think a free meal. On behalf of Burger King still won’t be going back there again 1000% wouldn’t recommend ohh and the half of the order we did get was cold and soggy like it was all reheated from the night before 🤮

I'd love to comment on the food but it didn't arrive. This is the second time this has happened from the same place. They mark the order as "with the driver" and then it never turns up. When you query with JustEat they say that BK have marked it as delivered so they have to escullation team. The result being no food and no money refunded. I want to give BK 0/5

We ordered a delivery, unfortunately only half of what we paid for was delivered. Called 3 numbers to retrieve the other half of my paid order, finally managed to talk with the restaurant. When complaining to the manager he said he wouldn't do anything and it wasn't his problem or fault. Basically I've been robbed... paid for something and this "manager" (his name is Hircy provided he gave me his actual name) just acknowledged the order wasn't complete but would do absolutely nothing to fix his mistake. Now I'm looking online to understand how to request a refund! utterly disgusted, many people had told me not to trust burger king in Swindon because or their dodgy behaviour and poor food quality, guess I had to experience it first hand! Never again, shame on youself Hircy, this is not how you treat a paying (and robbed) customer

Had a home delivery during lockdown.was so looking forward to it yet totally disappointed and annoyed at the rubbish that had been delivered.clearly it had been reheated as the bun was floppy and fell to pieces and the lettuce was brown with mayonnaise dripping out of the burger obviously reheated as looked like milky fluid not mayonnaise.clearly u should not reheat burgers especially heating mayonnaise.the chips were cold and whole thing went in the bin.staff have no pride obviously to send crap out like that that we paid full price for.shame on you.will never buy from here again disgusting slop

Took my 3 kids for a post lick down burger. £40 in, we were left with cold chips, 2 incorrect burgers and 3 out of the 5 of us ended with severe tummy ache! I know these are all franchises, but there should be some corporate standards to use the name. Will definitely NOT be visiting again.

I was disappointed to eat a chicken royale which contained limp brown lettuce and chips which were below average.

I've eaten here umpteen times and I absolutley love Burger King. However I refuse to use the drive through any more as it seems they are unable to get my order correct. So going into the shop is best so you can thoroughly check your order once given to you. I always go for the double whopper with cheese and I can not fault it in any way, always been delicious. Chips are also amazing, although I do find they can sometimes be a little sparse on the servings (while other times they are fine).As for the rest of the menu I cannot comment because as I said before, I always go for the whopper, drinks are fine and service is usually good.

After being told we were not aloud to make more than 1 order each car we were infuriated as made to drive round the drive through 3 times. The food was ok but service so poor

Alfter looking forward to a wooper meal i turned up to deal with staff i can only say vacan no personality and whats more the manerger even worse i think it is family based resterant .i waited for my order i looked around it looked a mess all the tables floor dirty no where to sit the place only had 8 people in and, ample staff i ask if i could get one table cleaned so i could sit down 3 x i had to go up spoke with the manerger it was a vacant space not in his program .i cleaned the table myself bye this stage my wooper ,chips,were cold ,my coke flat just like my mood bye then.

We went here to drive through quickly and grab one of the halloumi burgers that Burger King have been advertising: not something they offer. So we have a vegetarian bean burger which is the only veggie offering on the menu. It was filling but a bit sloppy.My partner wanted a milkshake with her meal but they don’t do milkshakes so that was rubbish too. And the drive through speaker wasn’t working so we had to go in, which wasn’t easy seeing as we had the baby in the car and the counter service seems to take so much longer. They could have just taken orders at window 1 rather than shut the whole thing surely?And Burger King remains very expensive for what it is. £2.99 for six cheese bites seems excessive. Very. Not somewhere we’d visit again in a hurry. Clearly it must survive on the football season footfall given the proximity to the football club.

I asked my kids what’d they like for dinner for a Friday night treat! They asked for Burgers and settled for Burger King...... we chose to eat at home so used the drive through. On returning home with our food and beginning to tuck in, the onion rings resembled cardboard as if they’d served us the dregs that had been refried from the previous evening, gross!! The burgers buns were greasy, chips looked and tasted like double fried leftovers. All in all best part of £20 wasted! Majority of it went in the bin! Won’t be returning. Disgusting.

Within a few hours after eating my bacon double cheese XL meal here I came down with terrible food poisoning and have not left my bed for three days. Avoid like the plague.

Popped in fancied a change from McDonald's had the big xl burger which was very nice but had to wait 15 minutes because of not enough staff and given a bottle of coke as machine was broken

We thought stopping for a quick snack and make use of the phone app that gives discounts. We noticed the fizzy drinks dispenser was broken so they were giving bottles instead which is ok, but when we saw our drinks they had given us normal cups from a dispenser that didn’t exist, they were pouring the bottles into the cups but adding water. The taste was horrible. When I challenged the manager I was told that because we bought discounted food that’s the drinks that they had for us. Horrible to say the least. So be aware when eating at Burger King and you pay with the app you might get second class food, at least here in Swindon that would be the case. I complained to the BK customer help number and they took notice of the case but who know if this isn’t something that comes from the head office????!!!!!

Service here is awful, rude and arrogant are the staff. Went through the drive thru and the girl on the other end was very rude, asked for a few items and her responses and questions were just filled with such attitude and no manners whatsoever! Went round to pay and because she just mumbled we couldn’t hear how much it was we just got the card machine shoved in the car window and when the card machine bleeped because we had tried to use contactless she very aggressively said the amount to us again and told us to put the card in the reader, you my love are a horrible girl! Won’t be coming back here ever again not to be treated like that!

Server looked like he wanted to be somewhere else not inviting at all. coca cola freestyle not available onsite and normal soft drinks machine broken (bottles being given out). Food hot and quick. While inside was clean I did whiteness a rat in the car park.

Following several visits where orders have been incorrect and they have been unable to provide hot drinks with no explanation as to why. The staff are always friendly but I don't believe they are well-trained. The place is not the cleanest and one of the cubicles in the ladies toilets never had any paper.

Went there for a quick bite, they got my order wrong, the staff didn’t understand a word I said, very poor English they had.

Dark space, staff confusing English, very expensive for poor meal, rediculously small portions compared to McDonald's and doble of the price of a similar menu in McDonald's , I intend not to return any more.

Ordered 4 meals at drive through. They managed to get 2 completely wrong and what we did get was cold, chewy and tasteless.I tried phoning to complain but they don't take calls and you can't even leave a message. Please don't go there.

Stopped off a couple of times however last visit did finish it for me.only two people in restraunt ,not busy ,however stood at counter while person stared at paperwork .got served eventually nothing special,chicken,bacon and cheese ,fries and Pepsi.£7.95 approx.

Well what can I say the young Chinese girl that served us, didn’t listen to nothing I ordered, I had to repeat everything several times and then when she passed me food nd drink, she practically launched it t me. Rude

If you are visiting Swindon and want to experiance the worst fast food place you've ever been to, come here, you wont be disappointed!

How can this place stay open? To start with all the staff taking orders do not understand what you are ordering, this then ends up with you either missing items or the wrong items. Secondly I can not believe how rude and ignorant the staff are, no customer service what so ever.

Worst ever. Dirty restaurant, shabby sofas, staff in poor condition, misunderstanding of the English language, no drinks available, all the hamburgers are rolled up in the same paper that says "chicken royale long chicken" which makes it impossible to know which burger is yours, mainly because they do not look anything like the photo, when complaining the employee still tries to argue with you. Terrible!!! Kebab looks better. I wonder how it is possible for the headquarters of the king burger to allow the operation of this franchise? And where is the inspection of hygiene and food safety that has not gone through here yet?

Are Burger King on the skids? Why is it so hard to order food from this terrible place. The staff are barely comprehensible in their English and service skills. I don't expect Michelin at these places, but some semblance of order would be good. A BK used to be reasonable. Overpriced mush.

The Steakhouse burger from the drive-thru was good but a large chips isn’t very large and seems poor value particularly after they’ve been in the bag for ten minutes as they’d gone soft and not crispy at all.

Thought i would get a bite to eat after work today at Burger King, the food was stone cold. Such a shame as Burger King is normally great!

I have visited The Burger King at Queens drive in Swindon on a number of occasions. It is a typical Burger King, close to the centre of Swindon and is popular with the locals. Good location for a cheap family meal.

Visited the Burger KIng in Swindon again I vowed never to return but I thought id go back see if its improved, and nope not at all, Went in for Brunch, At the time of visit and ordering I was the only customer, the service is so slow still, lack of stock and not getting my complete order, due to staff yet again forgetting/ not putting items in to cook, was just fobbed of yet again by I assume was the manager on duty...

I used to visit this restaurant for last two months and service is getting better as speed of service better quality food been served .

I love the Wopper. One of the best fast food burgers in the UK. Why do Burger King hate it so much? Good Lord what a bad Burger King. The staff were in fact seemingly pleasant people. The wait for food was a long time. Items like drinks were unavailable. One of the things that got me was this: "what drink would you like?" "Coke please" "Sorry, our drinks machine is broken. We only have bottled water", then the next customer who was standing behind, who heard it all: "what drink would you like?" "Diet Coke please" "Sorry, our drinks machine is broken. We only have bottled water" WHY ARE YOU ASKING WHAT DRINK???The food comes out and the lettuce has "that" smell and taste. Not going back there.

The title says it all. The service is always incredibly slow. When I ask why, I get an apology but no explanation.The manager gave us free chicken nuggets for the delay but I'd rather have had the food on time.

Very clean and hygienic inside. Service top quality. Very pleasant staff. Only problem is that on football days it gets packed and is slow to get served.

What is it with burger king? Employ a manager, older than 15 and get someone cracking the whip. On today's visit, service was ridiculously slow, back room staff could be heard swearing and using foul language. This was because it was "so f@#king busy". We waited for almost 10mins, without acknowledgement, before being served. Then waited another 15mins while the staff were messing about, arguing and getting generally wound up because they had no more than 8 orders on! Absolutely unbelievable. The BK next to Bicester Village was also terrible. Last visit to a BK. The only difference between the Swindon and Bicester was that the Swindon site did not stink of stale urine! I sincerely hope someone from head office reads this and gives them all a good kick up the backside!

No stock; no onion rings, milkshake, toilets closed. Staff don't have a clue. Worst Burger King ever. Don't bother going

Well where do I start? Firstly Delrina was terrible and service and absolutely no help when she told us they no longer our all time favourite The Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap. They had no Sprite which was a real disappointment. Received no apology for either of these from dreadful Delrina. Got offered no alternative. Delrina then continued to try and con us into purchasing the extortionately priced Chicken Royal. We followed our own initiative to practically cook our own food and add our own sweet chilli sauce to the BLT wrap which came with NO TOMATO!!so much for 'Fast Food'. Chips looked like they had been savaged by animals (probably Delrina!). Two of the gang also had severe indigestion (the burps) which became very painful. Shall not be returning and suggest anyone who wants to spare themselves the misery takes my advice and stays well away.

Attempted 3rd time lucky in here tonight following the last 2 visits receiving stone cold "freshly made" burgers. The only fast thing about this restaurant is how quick the food goes through you, about time environmental health were called in if the front of house is so filthy makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is. Slow service, dirty, miserable unhelpful staff. Unfortunately nothing positive to say although the food was barely warm this time. If I owned the Burger King brand I would be ashamed that this place carries my name.

First off I love BK. The taste of the burgers is so much better than McDonalds. But there is no excuse for waiting 10 mins to order and then another 10 mins for it to be cooked. Also there were only 2 people in front of me. It's not fast food it's quicker to eat in GBK. The slow non committal staff are not fussed how long people wait, the food is tasty but the service lets it down hugely

This is a dirty restaurant, the restaurant was empty and staff stood around looking bored but the place was filthy, like really dirty. Tables not cleared or clean, so much food all over floors, chairs needed a wipe, they had run out of just about everything then got the order wrong twice. Staff couldn't care less and have never heard of customer service. Never again!

I travel around the country for work and I have visited many Burger Kings but Swindon's BK gets the award for the worse in the country easily. I've visited a few times over the years and it always gets worse. The service was terrible the staff were rude and uninterested. The order came out wrong 3 times in the end and waited 20 mins for fast food. They seemed shocked that it gets busy at lunchtimes! The food was horrible the chips were the saltiest I've ever had and the burger looked like it had been dropped and then scooped back up and wrapped to go. After eating the take away meal my coworkers and myself felt quite ill for the rest of the day. I will now be avoiding this Burger King from now on I'll happily drive another 10miles to the better one on the motorway services.

We go here every time Swindon play at home so we can get something to eat or drink before the game. Every time there seems to be a issue with either running out of products or not enough staff working.This week they went one better by having one staff member serving whilst one other staff member with a dodgy leg hobbled around getting the orders. The queue was back to the door then they run out of change ! They had no hot drinks at all as machine was broke. They ran out of certain food products and only had Coke or Diet Coke to drink. They have a man that cleans the tables but just sweeps the bits on to the floor ! The floor is just slippery with grease !You never seem to see management around maybe they don't have any but if they do god they need new ones !

Myself and my two daughters waited in line for 20 minutes (fast food?) We were given green paper rip off towel as there were no napkins, there were no milkshalkes/smooties as they had run out. My daughters regular drink had to go into a kiddie cup as they had run out of regular cups, no offer of a large one for the inconvenience. People in the restaurant looked thoroughly fed up. There was only one girl on the till, with another periodically showing her face. Come one guys, you know it is the Christmas break - bad management to put on so little staff and run out.!! The tables were all spilling over with trays and used packaging. The bins were full. Never again. McDonalds it is in future.

Service is consistently poor at this restaurant. It is a shame it is the only one in Swindon as I like the burgers. However, it is just not worth the hassle anymore. This is the third time we have had to wait for over 30 - 40 minutes for our order. There must be a new definition to the term 'Fast Food' that I have missed. Not only this but when we went to eat our food they had given us cheaper burgers than we had paid for.

Started badly by having to wait 10 minutes in the Drive Through queue. When I did get to order, I asked for 2 Steakhouse burger meals, one without mayo or sauce. The girl read the order back correctly and we (eventually) got to the window and paid. The girl gave us our drinks and then carried on her conversation with her back turned to us. After another few minutes waiting, she put a bag, presumably containing our food down, then carried on chatting. When she realised that I was still there, she leaned back and without a sorry, thank you or good night, virtually threw the bag at us and turned round. I was surprised at her attitude and drove off feeling somewhat put out . When I got home and opened the bag, I found that both burgers had sauce and mayo and the chips were cold and soggy. Really poor quality.I use BK quite often as I do prefer the Steakhouse burgers to Big Macs, however I shall not bother with the Swindon one again. It really should be closed down!

We stopped off here for a bite to eat. Never again. I almost suffered concussion whilst using the toilet! The toilet roll dispenser was broken and fell off the cubicle wall. The toilets were absolutely filthy, and no soap in the dispensers. Thank god for the hand sanitizer in my bag! We had got to the single till that was open just in time. We sat down to eat our sub standard food, and were quite amazed that during a busy period they still had one till open and the queue was almost out the door. Service was incredibly slow, and by the looks of it, the very slow orders were not correct either! Lots of unhappy customers and a dirty establishment.. How is this place still open?

Ate here whilst on holiday - obv same fare as elsewhere. Bonus was a staff member by the door giving us vouchers for cheaper meals - result!

Went to this Burger King on Saturday the 4th July. Don't normally go to this burger king as it's always fallen short of anything coming close to an acceptable standard. However hunger is great sauce and we (my wife and 9 year old daughter) found ourselves this side of Swindon when massive hunger pangs tempted us to the drive through.Ordered the standard fare, meals all round. Seemed a little pricey at £16. We get our meals and pull up to tuck in. I'm so hungry I don't really care that there are very few luke warm chips as they didn't really touch the sides. My chicken burger was good enough but the banana and strawberry smoothie was a foul tasting thing. Strawberry, banana and crushed ice was all I think was in it. My wife is saying just how truly awful the food is there and that we shouldn't really ever go back again when my daughter from the back says 'Dad. Look at this. Is this right?'. She has opened up her cheese burger to look inside and holds out to me in the palm of her hand a burnt and shrivelled piece of I don't know what. 'No Aoife that is definitely not right!' I said taking it off of her and walking it in to the building.Standing in line waiting to complain a lady with the most amazing Farah Faucet hairdo circa 1977 says 'My god how can they give you that! If they can you that hidden in a bun what other horrors are they concealing from us!.' Indeed.I approach the counter and say with outstretched burnt burger 'I don't think this is of acceptable quality to be serving to your customers please can you tell me what quality checking you have in place and how this could have slipped through?' The lady was embarrassed and apologetic enough and replaced it immediately and offered to give me extra fries which given there quality didn't seem tempting. I took the replacement burger and went back to the car where the wife said 'Does this taste like chocolate to you?' Handing me her chocolate milkshake. I sip it and then sip it again 'No' says I 'it tastes strangely of chocolate and strawberry....hmmm shall I take it back?' 'No. Let's just go and never come back again.' Awful awful awful. How can they get it so wrong. I hardly ever go there and am always willing to give a place a chance if enough time has passed for them to get things right. But every time something has been wrong. I'm not picky really, just want what I pay for and not be fobbed off with rubbish.Glad that's off my chest :-)

Went to burger king with the wife and what a shock. Always preferred burger king 2 MacDonald's but how disgusting it was surprised us. Slow service, disgusting burger and even the chips were bad. Mozzarella sticks were awful. Never again. If it were not so close 2 the football ground surely this place would shut.

myself and my partners arrival to the (empty) restaurant at 1930 on a Saturday night, we tried to get served by the 3 members of staff that were just chatting very loudly and there was swearing coming from the kitchen! the staff and not even facing the counter it took a few minutes to even be acknowledged, The girl took the order, then carried on chatting with the others, when getting our food, they had forgotten to put the chicken fries in to cook, so was told to take a seat and they will be ready shortly, on getting to table the burger I ordered double whopper cheese was wrong was given a whopper so took it back to the counter to be replaced so they had to have a chat in the kitchen about it! until I got the right burger, so went back to eat my food and had almost finished our meal so went back to the service counter to ask where the chicken fries were, and the girl asked the kitchen about it and there were none!!! (im guessing they were probably used for the drive thru!) so was told they had forgot! and they will be with me shortly SHOCKING!!! taking a look into the food prep area and counter area there was food, black grime and customer bags used for takeaways all over the floor, And the seating area floor was also littered with food and rubbish! I've never seen to a burger king in such a state and staff with attitude and no care in the world I wont be going back there in a hurry that's for sure!
