The best restaurants in Stroud South West

I bought lovely fresh bread and organic butter however there are also health products, fresh vegetables etc.

Probably not a place for visitors or tourists to seek out, but a straight down the line local pub. Food is competing with Wetherspoons and Hungry Horse on price point etc, probably better than those. Nice staff.

La mesa se sentía muy aplastada y el servicio no era muy bueno. La comida era excelente, pero podría haber hecho con un poco más de verduras. Fue una lástima que no cumpliera con su estándar habitual: los dedos cruzados eran únicos

Great decor and lovely view but the roasts had tough meat, poorly cooked roast potatoes and dry yorkshires. My daughters both had children’s meals and were unimpressed with the taste of the burger or the meatballs. Service could have been improved , we were not offered condiments, they dropped the cheese on the floor for the pasta dish and did not offer a replacement or the correct cutlery. When they asked how the meal was we replied that the meat was tough and they brought over steak knives. When the hostess came over at the end of the meal she hadn’t been informed about our earlier issue. I would pop in for a drink but I wouldn’t eat here as there are many better options for Sunday lunch close by.

We have visited his place over many years. It will be good to watch it return to its former glory.

Really friendly service. Nice air con atmosphere. WiFi worked well. Would return.

We visited at lunchtime, and came back 4 more times during our stay. The food was delicious... especially the mushroom and stilton jacket potato and salad. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is a lovely garden, and also a comfortable indoors room. You're spoilt for choice!

Fantastic range of great produce

All a bit chaotic on the back of the rush. Food was ok when it arrived.

Twice we have tried to eat here abd both times it was closed. Try putting some opening hours on somewhere so we can avoid wasting time and fuel. Its weds and it says not too busy at the moment!

Mixed roast was perfect the wait was well worth it. delicious.

Very good food and helpful staff. Not good on the Coffee side of things, to weak, doesn't taste the same as the real maccoy. 😎
