What a refreshing change from the normal services. This is a large building with a farmhouse style rustic appearance. Look, I'll be positive about this because it is rather expensive. However, the quality of the goods is a lot better than you would get at a typical services. I think it was really nice. Very importantly, toilets were immaculately clean. I highly recommend this place

Not a bad supper for a service station. Pie with sides and gravy and a sticky toffee pudding for 11.95, good deal and tasted home made. Definitely a cut above the usual chain take away fodder

Pulled in to a service station, found an amazing Farm Shop! Great selection of foods, definitely planning to go back soon (which is not something I thought I'd ever say about services!)

Great place to stop but it does get VERY BUSY

This is the most amazing pit stop ever to have made the country. ALL welcome breaks should be this not poisoned fast food outlets.

Stopped overnight in campervan. Reasonable price was charged for a car. Quiet carpark set slightly back from M5. Expensive prices for fuel and refreshments in service station but top quality. Toilets clean and shower available.

I think this place has a wonderful vision, but doesn't deliver. The place was over run with dogs. Went for fast hot food, there were that many dogs in the foyer and in the queue I gave up. The noise of barking, growling, howling, nasty dogs biting at my ankles, I gave up. Went to the shop to get a sandwich, there was an Alsatian with his nose in the bread! There was too much food uncovered and unprotected from animals and inquisitive children. In the sun light and you could see the dog hair and dust in the air. Chose an egg and water cress sandwich. NO taste to it at all. Will not be buying from there at all. All looks wonderful, but I would not eat anything that wasn't packaged and yes the prices are high for the quality I experienced.

Sadly, not the tasty experience I was expecting. I ordered tea and a bacon bap from the quick kitchen. Initially, rejected the tea because the bag had split so the leaves were floating in the drink. They replaced it and I went back to my bacon bap. I was disappointed to find that there wasn't much bacon in it, 3 very small bits, it had been overcooked and was dried out, cold and tasteless. I don't know how the server had the cheek to give it to me, he must have known. I had been expecting the food from this place to be much better. When I found they'd barely added any milk to my tea I took the whole lot back and got it refunded. I do hope these negative posts are reviewed by a manager so that this type of bad experience is addressed.

One day all motorway service stations might be as good as this one. Brilliant shop, restaurant, toilets, parking and disabled access.

Great selection of good fresh food. The veg is quality and the meats are good. A lot to buy here, books, clothes, chocolates, sauces chutney, but... things are quite expensive in here as its the services. Still, good quality though.

Overpriced but decent choices. If you need something on your way through I would buy. However if you can wait do so.

Love this shop. The butchers are expensive but top-notch. You either want it or you don't. The produce, bakery and coffee is amazing 👏 🤩

Several visits and it gets no better. Only GF food was chips. Poor selection with only half a dozen food items GF. Expensive too. Goto the next services instead.

Service Station including a Large Farm Shop just off the M5 in Gloucester.

The facilities are lovely although the food and fuel prices are just ridiculous! I paid more than 20 pence more per litre at the petrol station here! The coffee was more costly than Starbucks although not close to the quality! I bought some food which seemed overpriced although I've not tasted it yet. Overall I was excited to visit and disappointed by the cost vs quality so far.

We were turned away from the restaurant with our small dog and baby at 8.30pm at night after a huge all day drive after Christmas. Needed to make one last stop. For a place that says they welcome dogs, they don't, you can only go to the foyer. My dog met 10 other dogs in the minutes we were there, but apparently our custom is not wanted. We will never go here again.

Want KFC crowds and clatter? Then this place is probably not for you. A peaceful oasis and sanctuary from the M5. Well worth its top spot on the Motorway Services Billboard chart.

Not your usual motorway services. Fresh produce quality gifts and pleasant helpful staff. Definitely worth visiting on the M5 north or south.

Love this service station, however we decided to have breakfast this time . Wouldn't do it again everything had been under the lights too long . Definitely not worth the price.

Great example of how motorway services can/should be. The Farm Shop is incredibly well stocked and represents very high quality. You do pay a premium for the high standards though.

Good place to stop, especially if you have a pet as they have an area for walking dogs & little quiet places to sit & admire the view. Or you can just relax with a drink & bite to eat

On our way down to Devon we stopped for a break and to get some food. Usually everything is 5 star. Got to the till to pay and noticed the strawberries was not looking good. The lady said to take some from another box. The second person at the till said they have had a lot of complaints about the strawberries. Why didn't anyone take them away. How many people got home to find the bad state of them and had to throw expensive strawberries in the bin

Stopped here on the way back from holiday to pick up some veg. 2.80 for a cauliflower which was no better than Asda. Checked the broccoli this morning all yellow bits on it. Off to marks then

Like many travellers we were not there for long but it is one of the larger farm shops. We just got sandwiches but there was much for the souvenir hunter etc.

Nice clean environment, good quality food, have had food at the cafe twice and both times it's been great. Polite and friendly, helpful staff. Much more spacious and relaxed than other services recommended.

We cannot understand all these recessions. You are completely ripped off here! Everything is way too expensive and when I look at the plates of food... everything looks soggy and overcooked (mass production) and I don't even want to talk about the coffee prices, it's an outrage! 1 star for being very clean and 2 for the fact that there are enough clean toilets for the masses of people.

First visit. Absolutely fabulous. Very clean. Staff so friendly and courteous. Will be back.

Bad behavior makes you feel like he is pushing you to eat. If you don't give them a tip, they will put a commission on your bill, but the food is, frankly, nice.

Wasn’t great. We were looking forward to food that wasn’t the usual fast food from services, unfortunately it wasn’t to be. The ordering was straightforward but the food looked nothing like the picture. I ordered the Brie & bacon toastie, which in the picture looked really full & appetising, however my toastie had what could only be described as a couple of shavings of Brie & only a couple of fairly overcooked pieces of bacon. The only thing that was in abundance was the marmalade chutney 🙄my kids meals were also much smaller than pictured & very disappointing. As someone else wrote, I don’t mind paying premium prices so long as I get food that matches that. This was not.

Stopped here on Saturday morning, extremely busy, used the self service to order the coffee, long wait and feels very impersonal now. I have stopped here before and liked it but not anymore. Coffee was expensive and not as nice as last time.

Beautiful rest stop! Food was tasty and fresh. Pet-friendly, handicapped accessible, and clean. Gas was priced a little high, but overall, a great stop.

This shop has very fancy local and international products, anything from groceries, delicatessen, butchers, to house products and clothing. They have tasty cakes, and I particularly love the chocolate and salted caramel cake, it never disappoints. The quality is very good for all the products we have purchased.

Really lovely place to visit! Although a bit expensive, the quality of food and veggies are premium. Everything we bought lasted a lot longer than food bought from your local lidl for example. The meat also taste different and a lot fresher! They also have very nice bakery section. Must visit!
