The best restaurants in Plymouth South West

Found this little cafe whilst walking the dog and definitely found a little gem. Both of us had the early bird full English which comes with coffee or tea, for less than tenner for two. All cooked fresh and not at all greasy. Staff very friendly and dog got a free sausage. Now can't walk dog pass the cafe without pulling towards the door. Other meals on menu very well priced.

Had a disgusting steak n Stilton pasty it was all pastry and the filling was awful thank god for friary mill

Me and my good friend ordered from the Gurkhas Kitchen today and I must say that,that was probably if not l the.best Indian I have ever had .

I like this store however I’m quite disappointed regarding my experience on 23/08/2024 as I had purchased some discounted salmon. It was 2 /3 days before its date and the only discounted pack of the kind so I wasn’t quite sure why it was discounted however I unfortunately found out soon after. The packaging was very slightly open on the side however not noticeable until I had got on the bus to notice a fishy smell and among looking through my bag found the fish leaking on the contents of my shopping bag as well as my jeans. If you’re going to knowingly sell raw meat at a discounted price due to it being slightly open, make it obvious by leaving a little label on the packaging stating it’s open? It’s quite humiliating getting on a bus smelling of fish and I had to wash all my stuff when I got home. The smell still hasn’t come out of my glasses case despite scrubbing multiple times due to it being fabric.

Great food made with passion and couldn't do more to help ensure the experience was great. Would definitely visit again.

Missing items in the food like the cheese in the sub

So sad to hear this restaurant is closing! Our family has enjoyed many birthday celebrations here and we have always been looked after really well. On the last occasion, Matt went above and beyond and it really made for a wonderful evening. The RWY is a very special place with a great atmosphere, so it seemed a perfect place to have a Hubbox. It will be missed!!

First time back to this restaurant after several years. And what have we been missing. To be honest not much has changed. The restaurant still retains that certain character and ambience. The staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. There was so much food, we couldn't eat it all. It was all very nice, just like it used to be. A great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.

Food undercooked and cold. Rubber Ribs. Food served with not plates? Use to be very good. Never again.

An overall great restaurant with fantastic food quality. As a sushi loving person their Sushi was the best sushi for me in this year. Also, customer service was marvellous the lady hall staff was really kind! Highly recommend for people who looking for a good Japanese restaurant in Plymouth.

Wow, chutneys and sambar absolutely delicious. Shame that the dosa went soggy but can't be helped when it's put in a takeaway bag; the flavour was great.
