Costa Coffee in Plymouth

We spend so much time here (Diet Cokes or skinny flat white!) because it has a really amazing team of staff that make the place have a lovely atmosphere. The staff are all so friendly and smiley 😃 The drinks and food are pretty standard from Costa but the staff make the place what it is. Would recommend to all. ☕️

Just been to the Marsh Mills Costa to get my husband a flat white and myself a free drink from the app. Well the service was absolutely the best I've ever received from one of your Costa stores and I've been to alot! The manager was looking through the book to see if a syrup was sugar free, she was happy to make my drink, let me try the cinnamon bun and if I didn't like it she would remake it to something else. WHAT SERVICE!!!! AMAZING! Such a lovely lady too. The assistant was also in on this too and was so patient a lovely. Thank you

There is not one single item of food which is free from - animal products - added sugar - yeast

Costa is always consistent and you know exactly what you are going to get when you visit one. I do love trying new places as well but the comfort of going into a Costa is also great too

Jade who served us in the drive through today at 20:00 was extremely rude and addressed us with abrasive, snappy, under the breath comments. Very impatient as we had more than one order. As working in hospitality myself and i would NEVER speak to anyone in this manner.

This is one of the better Costas in Plymouth. It’s never too busy and staff are always friendly. Delicious coffee too!

Long queues, staff not overly on the ball. We asked for our table to be wiped and received quite an abrupt response, which we thought was very rude. The manager, Dawn I believe, then said she would come back and wipe the table however we believe this was only because we asked. Generally tables are cleared and never wiped, this happen in all 3 costs near / around Marsh Mills. To be honest, it's quite disgusting and cleanliness of the shop leaves a lot to be desired. Cleaning tables is basic cleanliness!!

Aways love Costa went here twice today

Not staying long enough to enjoy the atmosphere, so i can't evaluate it, don't eat either. The staff is 5*, even though I am not a regular they still remember my choices, i can only imagine how they treat proper regulars. The only thing I have to moan about, there's got to be some moaning, it has to do with the regulations. I hate the plastic lids but, they have to put it, in my book if you're dumb enough to spill your drink you shouldn't be allowed out in the wild. Where's the "stop oil" crowd when you need it?

Love Costa coffee but there coffee are getting weaker and weaker I like a strong coffee getting poor not worth the price now you need to do something about it

Dawn and Sharon work here and they are fantastic. Always make my visit so pleasant.

Went in at 3pm on a Saturday and there was plenty of space. Staff were all really friendly and joking around with the customers. Food may be more expensive than some places but it's all good.

I always love a good coffee shop and I find cota perfect if you're on your own or meeting up with friends. The atmosphere is lovely and inviting and they have a range of different drinks and cakes for you to enjoy. They also sell little gifts for the perfect Xmas pressie for that coffee lover.

Very busy service. There was a large queue, but the staff worked really hard to get everyone served. I was offered a good choice of food and also got all the little things I have asked for. As well as advice on how to use my new membership

Out of all the Costa's I dislike this one the most. It's always really busy and the staff always seem really rushed. The coffee I've gotten here every time has just been okay and I just prefer to go elsewhere. I find the layout is cramped in here as well which doesn't help the atmosphere. It's good if you need a costa quickly and can't travel to a different one.

We called here for a coffee and cake after swimming, not too much left on show because its Sunday teatime but the atmosphere is so calm, Joe served us and was so calm under the pressure of a long queue, he knew exactly what he was doing and everything we ordered from a panini, to coffee was exactly as it should be. The rest of the team were really well organised, all the tables were clear- couldn't fault a thing. Thank you

A very enjoyable visit meeting up with old friends. Service, Atmosphere second to none and free parking to boot.

Usual great service and staff but no wifi!! 🤯 it’s been months since wifi has been available in this store.

Needs more seating. Really expensive and not great quality food. Poor service and made to feel like a number and to move along after payment taken. Stood with hot drinks and hot food waiting for a seat to become available. Toilet were disgusting and filthy. Wouldn't go back here.

Stopped off to refuel with latte, hot chocolate, special flap jack and cheese toasty.

Warm and friendly staff. Need some healthier food options available. Facilities not clean.

Please be careful visiting this coffee shop, I have been issued with a parking fine for staying 3 hours 19 minutes, the time limit is 3 hours which I was unaware of. I was meeting 2 friends for coffee, we have all received tickets, could have had a fancy lunch for that amount!

Stopped for a 'quick' take out coffee and bottle of water and had to wait over 20 minutes to even get served. It wasn't even particularly busy and there were plenty of staff.

Mint chocolate chip frappe really not properly is bad melt too much wet and not good I am will put bad feedback

Same old same old Would rather eat in an independent coffee shop. Queue was out of the door as only 2 staff. Staff were great but definitely under staffed

Mine and mum's guilty secret. We love a pot of tea and scone a d cream with jam. The one at the gateway retail park where the old mother care was is the best.

Tables, chairs, floors and toilets all needing a clean. Hand sanitizer had also ran out.

This is my favourite Costa to go to for takeaway or eat in, with friends and family. Always have excellent customer service. My last visit young Anthony went above and beyond with his excellent customer service, would highly recommend this Costa. Ideal location and ample parking.

Sunday evening drink. Warm Sunday evening in summer. Just a couple of staff on. Not a problem though. Sat outside. Coffee and lemon drizzle cake. All good.

Been drinking Costa all my life but first review I’ve ever left because of the experience I had. Just been through this drive thru about 5 minutes ago. 2 young lads working there. Both gave such good service, the younger one who gave us our drink was such a lovely lad and the drinks were top notch.

Nice place to stop off for coffee and snacks. Would have been 5 stars but the toilets need a bit of a clean more regularly than the intervals your staff do it. Other than that love the coffee here.

Visit 1: Wasn't acknowledged for at least 5 minutes before being served. Visit 2: Queued for about 25 mins. Woman behind me wasn't wearing a mask and was way too close and was making us feel uncomfortable. Staff offered no apology for the wait. Lady on the till paused while serving me to talk to another colleague. Friend told the cashier 3 times that she would like skinny milk, and then was made to feel like she was in the wrong when the barista made one with whole milk. I had to go back in because they had got my own order wrong, too.

So the coffee was good bought two large and two small brownies for nearly the price of fish and chips twice. So not happy with the pricing

Best costa in Plymouth 100%. Special shout out to Sharron for A-star customer service and always being a ray of sunshine, whether it be early morning or a gloomy afternoon. Also big thank u for always putting the gingerbread man on the gingerbread latte when so many other branches don’t bother :)))))

Great having a drive through to get hot drinks, the staff were lovely as I panic and didn't know what drink to have , I suffer panic and anxiety attacks, staff were really good didn't rush me to chose I definitely be back
