Caffè Nero in Plymouth

I visited this caffe Nero as was in plymouth for few days and like their coffee and good. This one unfortunately being where it is was a bit overrun on a saturday morning. One trainee, one barista, queue to get served was very long and a lot of the tables not cleared. Not the staffs fault who were lovely but maybe extra staff on a saturday morning.

Descent coffee, I would say one of the best and the staff are always super helpful and polite 😊

One of my favourite caffès as always the staff is friendly and smiling, if you need a break from shopping in the House of Frasier or a nice break in town, or just to sit and watch the town, then Caffè Nero is your best option. The food, coffee, atmosphere and service is excellent and it’s always clean, never disappointed! I would like to say a special thanks to one of the most amazing staff in Nero, thank you George for being always helpful and smiling 😊

Friendly staff, always great coffee.

We use Cafe Nero to get a coffee when out shopping. Sometimes we might have a light lunch too. The branch inside House of Fraser in Plymouth always has seats available and feels spacious. On our last visit, me and my wife both had a chocolate muffin with our drinks but they were dry. Not up to the usual high standard we normally experience.

It's a coffee shop, I'm inclined these days to use the smaller independent chain shops where you a treated as a person by the staff

Not happy the way they have downsized all the cups and the hot chocolate was put in a small glass with no handle won’t be back

Came in for a drink, had a hot chocolate which came in a small handle-less glass! How on earth you're supposed to drink it when you can't hold the glass beats me. A medium latte came in a small cup. We asked a member of staff about the hot chocolate glass, the reply was 'they've changed things'. Sorry to say, not a pleasant experience. Also feel for the staff, who have to handle the glass with steaming hot drinks. Think you need to rethink Cafe Nero!!

Lovely place to sit and relax. The cake for my birthday was delicious. Cafe Nero has a great discount system for Student. Highly recommend!

The guys there were really busy and the tables weren't the cleanest due to this. That said you could see they were trying there best to keep up. Had a chicken panini thing, was really really nice. Coffee was great too

One of the best views in Plymouth for people watching, if you can get a seat by the window. I did just discover a delicious new cronut. I went in to cool down after a busy morning in the sun. Sadly I couldn't find a seat in front of the panoramic window to watch people go by. I did find they had a passion fruit flavour cronut. It was very good. Passion fruit can be sickly and especially I have found cronuts can suffer from this. But this one was good. The gooey icing was tasty as was the crème patissiere running through it. It had dark chocolate chips on top to cut through all the sweetness which worked well. I'd recommend giving one a try. I also had my standard chai latte which they did well.

Regular visitor to this Nero for years, and have to say that over the years every member of staff has been fantastic! Rachael, Joe and Sabelina are my three favourites. Drinks are always made to the same standard each time, cafe is always clean and well kept, although I will say that the decor/floors/dividers are looking tired, but that’s down to people higher than the staff here.

Quickly served in this not over crowded cafe situated on the ground floor of Dingles House of Frazer Plymouth. Retail shopping will have a more comfortable ambience over a coffeeat Cafe Nero.

Busy little coffee shop. Very efficient and friendly inside department store. A little cramped and quite noisy. Window seats are always full and quickly snapped up as are more comfy and quieter. Has personality!!

I found the service here is rude and the cutlery is dirty. They didn't respect my wishes as a customer when I asked for a specific slice of cake I liked the look of and just gave me one I wasn't keen on because it wasn't as fresh as the others. As a customer, I would expect them to oblige and not just tell me what I'm getting. Thoroughly disappointing experience. I won't be going to this branch again.

In House of Fraser very cosy and welcoming on a cold wet morning and coffee also very nice.

Flat white was a flat white and not a latte with an extra shot as in many other outlets.

Usual Nero offerings but a little cramped

Flat white was strong, delicious and beautifully presented. The pain au chocolat was buttery and melt in the mouth. As good as I've had in France.

Service was good unfortunately can't say the same for the sandwich. Very little filling in fact one side had only a bit of tomato sauce and a leaf of something or other. Very poor

The Caffe Nero staff are kind and generous and thoughtful and it is a nice pace to visit for a coffee and cake

I was disappointed. They weren't keeping count of how many people were coming in. The tables weren't being cleared. People were gathering up dishes from table they wanted to sit at, and out then in the side. I did the same and used a wet wipe to clean the table. Coffee is great and staff are lovely,but won't be in a hurry to go back till after covid

Lovely cup of tea and cake. Had a slice of the salted caramel cake which looked gorgeous, delicious cake but the icing was a bit plasticky..
