Variable service depending who is on duty. Eaten here a few times over the last couple of years, quality of service really depends who is working, quite often staff are sat at tables talking to regular customers instead of serving tables. I hate having to get up and walk to the bar to order another drink. More consistent staff training needed please! My review a year ago clearly given a good ignoring. Visited again last week and the service was shocking, the staff were tidying up to close (at 7pm), the kitchen porter spent his time shuffling past our table carrying stuff to/from the bar. The food (burger) was inedible, so much so we refused to pay for it. I was assured they hadn't changed their butcher but would take it up with them. The next morning I saw a Bookers Cash & Carry butcher van outside so don't expect any quality ingredients at the Waypoint. The place needs proper management, not a chip fryer and grill.

Visited last weekend, food was delicious, highly recommend the baked cod, free parking for 2 hours. Lovely Outlook onto the marina. Would visit again.

Very pleasant setting and dog friendly. The four of us enjoyed fish tacos, stir fry and burgers from a very reasonable and varied menu. And friendly service too.

Rubbish, bad service, took a long time for our order to be taken, then each time we asked how it was progressing we were told its on the way but its busy, which it was. We saw peoplecome in after us come in , order , eat, pay and leave. Then we found out after 80 minutes our order hadn't been started or had just been started ,so we all just got up and left . You get two hors free parking here but be warned on a busy day , when you book a table it may not be enough #still no food , "Mackiedees" everyone

Lovely place to go. Scenic and friendly. Generous portion. Both my husband and I had a baguette Tuna/Prawn and were full of ingredients . Both were very tasty and the side salad was so refreshing. It’s our go to place. We have also recommended Waypoint to our friends. Access is brilliant, from unaided to aided alike. Very reasonable with their charges. Make it your go to place.

Like a little oasis in the hustle of plymouth. Step into the marina and enjoy nice food in a lovely friendly and relaxed environment. Definitely be going back.

Nice and relaxed. Very good sunday roast beef. Nice coffee too. Eat here iro 3 or 4 times a year and never disappointed. Instead of moaning about first-world problems like some do, this isn't the Ritz so don't expect it to be. It is warm, comfortable, welcoming, clean and good value. Food is generous and nice.

Service at the table always great but food is very hit and miss. Fantastic venue with inside and outdoor seating, views over Plymouth sound. 2 hours free parking.

I am a regular lunchtime diner at this lovely bistro and decided to have my 80th Birthday evening meal for 19 friends and family. It was a fabulous evening!! Kate and her staff were incredible, the long table set out looked lovely, the food was wonderful with all different orders all out on time with no fuss and helpful staff for some 'old biddies'. I couldn't have asked for a better celebration evening. Highly recommend this venue.

We went here on a Sunday for a family pre Christmas roast and before we went we inquired if there was vegan on the menu and was told yes. This was the worst Sunday roast I have ever had. The vegetables were not only al dente they were as hard as a rock as was the Yorkshire puddings, I couldn't get a fork in them and the stuffing balls were dry and tasteless, for me the vegan, they gave me two tiny quorn sausages that were pale and uninteresting obviously just chucked in the microwave. They couldn't offer me anything at all for a pudding I have never been anywhere where the meal was so awful, the others all left there vegetables as they were so horrible.

We popped in for a quick lunch on a weekday. The service was really pleasant and always with a smile. The food was lovely we were really happy and will return. Your waitresses are a real credit to you.

Service without a smile! Some food better than others; no consistency. Needs to up its game as far as service is concerned. The first point of contact - at least on Tuesday, was cheerless; perhaps even hostile. And, yes, one is here to spend money; surely that is to be welcomed.

We found this by accident while looking for somewhere to watch the fireworks,perfect spot to see the display but book early as it is very popular,staff are really friendly and accommodating,the food is great,especially the steaks.

Ate here and had coffee a few times while on charter with Liberty Yachts with our sailing club. SOMERSET YOUTH AND COMMUNITY SAILING ASSOCIATION from bridgwater on our annual sea sailing week. We sail from Mountbatten Centre and can watch the boats from here. They did us scrambled eggs on toast even when officially too late for breakfast which was nice of them.

Had an absolutely fantastic night here we were all very full & satisfied when we left, the staff were great the food was awesome, we had a little staff do & sat in the outside gazebo area with the heater on will be returning for our next 1. Would highly recommend this place. Superb😊

Popped by for a mid week dinner. The menu was varied and the small plates were tasty. I had heard good things about the creamy mushrooms and wasn’t disappointed! It was pretty quiet while we were there; perhaps some mid week offers would help to attract more customers as the prices weren’t the cheapest. Will be looking to return to sit outside in the summer.

Basic , ordinary and nothing to shout about.

Staff were amazing and the restaurant offers a very relaxed atmosphere. Just a quick stop off for cuppa and cake. I really need to visit this place in the summer as I can only imagine the views and scenery will be even more lovely.

Had a lovely meal here, the food was hot and well prepared. There were 10 of us and the staff were very nice and in the freezing weather it was lovely and warm.

We're Regular visitors to Waypoint , mainly for Breakfast. Food is excellent , very reasonably priced , with very friendly polite Staff . Strangely our boats are across the water , but the journey is worth it .

This Bistro at Queen Anne's Battery is the perfect place to wind down, to relax and take in the ambiance of this Marina. There are fine views out over Catawater to Plymouth Sound and beyond. One van see the Brittany car ferries arrive and depart too. There is a well stocked bar and an excellent menu and service is just as one would expect with staff checking to see if everything is as ordered. Highly recommended by me if one is visiting The Marina, boat sales, the Riggers, the Sea Chest Book shop Force 4 Yacht Chandlers and parking is free for two hours. Pay if you are there longer on the way out for the barrier to lift. I do like this place for a Morning coffee and snack, lunch, a pot of tea or Dinner.

Have been coming to Waypoint for years and it never fails to disappoint. This time it was for a family meal on a Sunday evening. Food was really tasty, staff were attentive and everything was served with a smile. A great find and would certainly recommend

I came here after some recommendations. I was a little disappointed in the customer service, but the food was enjoyable. The location was difficult to find, as is in an industrial state 'Queen Anne's baton' Even once in the estate no easy directions or signs to find.

Went there for brunch. Really enjoyed it. The stuff were very friendly and brought us some dips. The food was excellent and very filling. Will be back again soon with my friends.

I have been to Waypoint/chandlers for at least 20 years. The recent transformation has made it weatherproof and I am there at least 4 times a week. I am free to say what I like about it but cannot find fault. My only fear is that the scallops will be off next time I visit as they are the best I have ever tasted. As a traveller in France and Germany for 30 years I do know the best when I see it. Thank you all at my second home.

The staff, especially Kristy, are exceedingly friendly although very professional. The food is amazing and served in a timely manner. The varied choice of drinks caters for most tastes. A couple of absolutely enjoyable visits over the last couple of days. Sad to be on our way tomorrow 😪

Dogs in the restaurant are not a good Idea.

At one point there were 6 dogs in the restaurant. One dog was vicious, and attempted to bite the legs of two different guests. Another barked on and off, mostly on, for at least 30 minutes before the owner removed the animal. The food was very good, the service was excellent, the price was reasonable, the dogs were awful. Apart from guide dogs for the blind, dogs have no place in a restaurant. The owners may love their animals, but I don't. Unfortunately due to their dog policy, I will not be returning.

Good service, poor food. Tired menu. Calamari was terrible, skin left on was like elastic bands. Should do better sea food for its location

I would like to be able to comment on the food and drink but sadly no one approached us for a drink or to offer menus within 20 minutes of arrival. Other customers arrived after us and were served. We were not in an isolated part of the restaurant so there was no reason for us to be missed. The restaurant was not busy so no excuse.

Great food, great location, and friendly staff. Only downside is no baby changing facilities, but we made do.

Lovely location, 2 hours free parking which is a bonus. Had the full English breakfast and flat white coffee - both excellent. Friendly and helpful staff too. Definitely recommend when exploring Plymouth's waterfront

Excellent food and service every time.

Great service but!! Had a Latte with extra shot, it was very watery not milky. Certainly not a latte!! Nice sausage and egg sandwich but, served on a serviette wich got covered in egg yolk, no knife so had to disect with a spoon! Zero garnish which at 5.50 is a bit sad. Had a half pint of beer, Tribute, bit cloudy and sour!! Just stale or dirty pipes. Overall a nice enough place but quite amateur!!

Great location close to the Barbican amongst QAB marina but away from some of the boisterous noise. Good food and friendly staff. Book a table to avoid disappointment if you want to eat.
