I came here for the first time, and it was pretty good. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, this is probably your place. It did give me canteen vibes as you are eating out of a brown paper bag or paper cup, but everything was still quite nice! I had an oat hot chocolate and brownie which came to £5.25 which is kind of expensive but not horrible. Everything was clean and tidy, and the whole place looks really nice as well!

Quite stingy with portion sizes, food is decent but the staff are really slow no matter the time of day so not great if you’re rushing in-between classes.

We were back in Plymouth and out for a Coffee. We recalled we had been to Reservoir Cafe on our previous visit and so popped in. Good choice as it turned out as the Welcome and Coffee were equally welcoming. Flat White and Latte were our choices and the boss had a Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffin. All very nice and at a great price. Plenty of Comfortable Seating and Free WiFi makes your visit a pleasant one.

It's one of the more interesting cafes on the university campus. It seems more reserved than other locations, and is a great place to meet a lecturer for coffee or catch up. There is also a Pokemon Go Gym right on top of it meaning it's cute to sneak in some gameplay while there.

¡Bastante decente!

The food here is very good. It's a shame the lady with short blonde hair is quite rude (carol?). Deciding to charge for the cutlery when it suits her (and then b*tching about the customer she had just charged for cutlery to another member of staff when there was a full queue of people who could hear everything), giving out free drinks to her friends who were in front of me in the queue and charging me full prices after I have shown my student card multiple times. I don't come to this cafe anymore.

Called in for a late light lunch, so the soup & bruschetta on offer fitted the bill. We were lucky to get served as there were only 2 portions left; the reason they'd nearly run out was obvious when we tucked in - the mushroom & tarragon soup was absolutely superb. The soups along with 2 excellent coffees cost relatively little (c.£9). No surprise that most of the customers were students/lecturers - they obviously no a good place when they see one! Recommend anyone to try this place - it's only a 5 min walk from Drake's Circus but is a relatively calm oasis on the edge of the in the hubbub of the University. The reservoir gives a really good outlook on warm, sunny days.

This is a nice cafe situated slightly out of the way on campus serving fresh, healthy food. The staff are friendly and the coffee is tasty. When the cafe is full to capacity it can get a little too noisy to hold a quiet conversation, but I'm sure that can be said about most places. If the Pizza is available, I'd highly recommend it.

Took a which to absorb that this is a public cafe despite being on campus but right beside and overlooking the North Hill reservoirs and the skilfully restored Drakes Place park. It has a good feel, is entirely friendly with a healthy range of dishes. It is also part of the Sustainable Restaurants Association which not only waists caters with sustainable sourcing but also with training, waste reduction and general advice and guidance. If you are walking down into town or lurking around the shops and precinct it is only few minutes stroll in here. Sadly Sunday opening in the winter is limited.

I like this place and have been here a few times particularly for a snack late afternoon. Came today at lunchtime and lurked for a while firstly waiting for a bench where we could sit with the dog and secondly while we thought about the choice of lunchtime food. The latter was the killed. Only a biggish select of salads and I think a couple of choices of soup. OK for some but not all the time and we just weren't up for the salad on a breezy day. Still highly recommend this place and will be back but if you are not a salas person you may wish to wait for the winter menu.

Delightful location, though alas not warm enough to sit out on this occasion. But really good quality food: home-made mushroom soup, tasty mixed salad that included chunky pieces of avocado, horribly tempting tray bakes (try the shortbread with a layer of real cherries in it) - and amazingly reasonable prices too! Wish I lived/worked in Plymouth, I would go every day . . .

Not known by many, this cafe is on the university campus but entirely open to the public. You can see it across the Drake's Place regeneration and reservoir. It's on the corner of the Astor Building level with the paved area around the reservoir has many picnic benches overlooking and down the side if the reservoir. The food is not bad and improving. I believe that there has been at least one other listing for a year or two for the same premises, possibly including 'Cultural Cafe'. We need some photos.
