The best restaurants in North Somerset South West

Firstly the bus cafe wasn't open here, and you need to wear a mask to purchase from the shop. They do some lovely produce and the baps are amazing value, it is a proper rustic food lovers paradise. A good selection of meats, pies, fish, vegetables and beers and ciders are available. Nice place to visit, pick up supplies if your passing by, also about the only thing close to the nearby Holiday Inn. Good spot..

Located may be not in the bets part of Weston but it is a true jewel in the crown. Welcoming staff , clean and an easy to read menu with a good number of options. We were there for breakfats I selected the small ( i dont have a big appetite) The breakfats was excellent good fried bread, runny egg but cooked, decent bacon and tinned tomatoes ( which I prefer) ( I could have had beans but no thanks for breakfast ) My slight negative was that the sausage which was otherwise excellent was a little saltier than I like. The mug of tea was excellent and may be one o fthe best I have had in a cafe for a long while . I was with my son who is a regular there I can see why

I regularity go to this café as is is the cheapest and the best I have found in the whole Portishead area and good in comparison to Bristol offerings. Its not posh but it provides a great meal before a walk on the sea front. Go! Try it!

Visited this cafe whilst on a short trip to the area. Would say it's a bit of a hidden gem near the boatyard. Our breakfast order was served quickly, and our hearty meal proved to be very tasty. Staff were polite and friendly. Good experience and happy to recommend.

Went to get food, walked in asked if they do food to simply be told ‘No’ though it says bar & restaurant on the outside. Don’t know if this is all the time or not but they didn’t elaborate to say anything like ‘not just tonight’ or ‘we’re now out of season’ so assume they are just now solely a pub.

Beautiful location. Lovely cafe . We were there for a sculpture workshop with Helen Nock. All in all a great experience.

moved my custom from another indian takeaway. meal delivered before time stated, food tasted delicious, but was way too hot for my taste! but tbh, the menu did say hot!! enjoyed what i had and will buy from here again, just a less hot dish!!

Called in and made very welcome, and must say my cream tea and a extra slice of home made cake was beautiful top place big shame forced out of the old quarry, was such a beautiful surroundings and peaceful

Best Indian takeaway we have had. We have been coming here for many years and never had anything less than excellent food. Tasty food,tender chicken and a great portion for the money. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Ran out of some beers like ipa Bar man a bit hum bug Not my favourite place but prices are good

For the first time ever, we went out for Christmas lunch. Well, what a mistake. Two of our party were over 80+. By the time we left our 80+ year olds were falling asleep at the table, having had to ask staff to clear our plates away and bring our dessert. On the plus side, the atmosphere was good and festive. Staff brought us the wrong dishes and wouldn't listen when we tried to explain. There was a difficult party of three, and it was obvious the staff had no idea how to handle them and they held everyone up. It was a shame as some of the staff tried really hard, but the young chap in the T-shirt really didn't care and it was obvious he didn't want to be there. I had some hygiene concerns too about the prepared dishes being passed round the tables with everyone breathing on them before they arrived at the right place. I've been brought up on good quality meat, I don't know where the beef was from, but it was so stringy and fatty that I could not eat it. I've waited a few days to calm down but I really would like a partial refund after such a dreadful experience.

Cafetería y florería entre la A 38 y Wrington. Buen capuchino, buen ambiente con baratijas y una galería de pintura de seda para mirar, así como la floristería. Asientos al aire libre también con una bonita vista. Pastel de café y nueces. Hacen almuerzos que se veían bien, pero hay un olor a cocina / fritura al entrar en el comedor, que es un poco desagradable. De lo contrario, sería de 5 estrellas. Eso sí: están abiertos el lunes y son acogedores a diferencia de otras opciones locales.

Always good service and beautiful food. Happy friendly atmosphere. Often meet with a friend for tea and cake but also have had the best breakfast freshly cooked with lots of choice.

You get absolutely loads of food, really well priced, better for takeaway as not much space to sit down.
