Somerset Flower Farm in North Somerset

Cafetería y florería entre la A 38 y Wrington. Buen capuchino, buen ambiente con baratijas y una galería de pintura de seda para mirar, así como la floristería. Asientos al aire libre también con una bonita vista. Pastel de café y nueces. Hacen almuerzos que se veían bien, pero hay un olor a cocina / fritura al entrar en el comedor, que es un poco desagradable. De lo contrario, sería de 5 estrellas. Eso sí: están abiertos el lunes y son acogedores a diferencia de otras opciones locales.

My Pilates group met one sunny morning for coffee. Lovely weather so we could sit outside, which I recommend. Good tea and cake, vintage china, lovely atmosphere.

Se accede a través de un camino rural muy estrecho, no hay muchos lugares de paso si se encuentra con alguien que viene en la dirección opuesta. Visité con mi esposa y mi perro para conocer a un amigo que vive localmente. Había estado lloviendo todo el día y tan pronto como entramos para sentarnos donde nuestro amigo estaba esperando, ¡nos pidieron que dejáramos "no perros adentro"! Hay dos mesas debajo de una terraza exterior donde puedes sentarte con un perro y, afortunadamente, una había sido desocupada. Las porciones de comida no eran grandes y la botella la proporciona cerveza, junto con cafés, etc.

Llevé a mi amigo a la granja de flores Somerset para el almuerzo. Ella no sale mucho, ya que recientemente tuvo un derrame cerebral, así que condujimos desde Clevedon después de leer las críticas generalmente favorables en Tripadviser. Los dos pedimos una papa con relleno de mayonesa de atún, algo que incluso el peor establecimiento encontraría difícil equivocarse. Creo que sería generoso si describiera la cobertura como una cucharada de atún. Decepcionada con nuestras ofertas, le pedimos a la camarera que nos llenara más y se fue a la cocina para pedir más. Bueno, la película que Oliver vino a la mente, cuando el propietario, o como lo llamamos Sr. Bumble, surgió y prácticamente gritó ¡MÁS! ! ! Afortunadamente, en esta ocasión no fuimos perseguidos por la cafetería después de nuestra impertinente solicitud, pero el Sr. Bumble nos dijo que no quedaba atún y que para tener más tendría que hacer otra tanda, algo que claramente no queria hacer   Como estaba con mi amigo, no hice más escándalo, obviamente no perdimos más tiempo aquí y nos fuimos sin un pastel o más bebidas. Curiosamente, cuando salimos de la cafetería, la delicada comida Glorious Food no me vino a la mente. Este es obviamente un lugar que está dirigido por alguien más interesado en las ganancias que en la experiencia del cliente. No volveré.

Traveling to Bristol Airport, got her a bit early so wAnted a quick coffee. Ideally placed for a pre flight coffee and cake. Proper old fashioned tea shop with nice cakes

Stopped by on the way back from Cornwall. What a lovely find. Gorgeous setting, peaceful and a glorious sunny day when we visited. Had the homemade quiche and bought some handmade soap whilst we were there. Cakes looked good although we didn’t try one. Menu was good for lunch and brunch.

My friend and I called for lunch after finding it on the Dine App (sadly they said they weren’t accepting Dine anymore even though it’s still on their website) still we enjoyed the setting, the people and the food. We didn’t try the cakes but they looked lovely! So next time we go ...

Fantastic breakfast as ever. First time I had taken my wife here (my daughter gave it away that we'd been before as she went straight for the toy she'd last played with). We arrived just after 1100 hours, which is when breakfast stops. However both the ladies in the cafe were lovely and managed to rustle up 2 lovely fresh breakfasts which we all enjoyed. Can't thank them enough, love coming here. It's a hidden gem away from it all, a must for those wanting a change of scenery - and what a beautiful location it is. Already looking forward to coming back ladies...

We drove here especially to visit the flower farm as I grow a lot of flowers at home. Very disappointed to find that there were no flowers at all - in August when there should have been plenty. If you go expecting a flower farm you will be disappointed. We didn't stop at the cafe...

Nice coffee and good cakes in this hidden shop on the way into/out of Wrington. Nice outdoors setting.

Visited this place late afternoon for tea and cake. Was very quiet but tea and cakes were very good. Tried to find flowers but couldn't see much growing in fields beside cafe. Good food shame about not many flowes.

I took my daughter as she is getting married this year. Hoped there would be flowers to see growing under cover at least but nothing to see but a few pots in a very small room. Cafe was quaint but very expensive, nice cake and pretty china. If one visits in July, apparently you can walk through the flower fields and pick your own. Maybe we'll try again some day..

Lovely spot and good food ata reasonable price but let down by the slow service.There seemedto be only one person in the whole place - preparing food, serving it , serving in shop.....Just don't go there if you haven't got several hours to spend on lunch

Funny how the gems are always tucked away. But once the right turning off the A38 is discovered, this is a marvellous spot to take tea or lunch in the heart of rural Somerset. In summer, there are often crafts to view around the café itself, some quite fascinating. There are other, quirky items to view inside as well. Service is attentive and friendly, and our food/drink was excellent. You can choose to sit inside or outside or in the halfway-house! And yes, the cakes are indeed scrummy!

Lots of vegetarian choices on the lunch menu. Most dishes around £7-8 and come with salad and bread. Hot chocolate £2.50. Parking close by.

Quaint country kitchen decor. Good fresh lunch menu. Simple and delicious. Homemade cakes. Lovely outside courtyard spaces for warmer weather. Very friendly staff. And the sweetest smelling loos ever - big bowl of freesias last time. Altogether delightful.

I only discovered this lovely cafe recently, and have been back alot since! Very friendly staff, welcoming and picturesque surroundings (looking forward to visiting in summer) and tasty food. I've yet to try the cakes, but they look amazing!
