You get absolutely loads of food, really well priced, better for takeaway as not much space to sit down.

Happened across this place as we were exploring the town. We always try and use local independents although the kids wanted Subway. Couldn’t have been happier. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was a great selection of fillings and breads. Food was made fresh to order and was delicious. Will definitely return when we come back to Weston. Thank you

Excellent "sandwich" cafe. Eat in or takeaway. Always very busy with takeaways. Best all round sandwich café we have ever visited. Friendly helpful staff. Sandwiches made to YOUR order. Drinks etc. A place NOT to be missed. No pre-packed sandwiches here. Really is worth a visit.

Visited for takeaway lunch today. Chicken tikka baguette and sausage baguette were both v tasty and v generous portions. Will definitely be coming back again. Wide range of fillings, breads and other options too. Quick service and lovely front of house lady. Would recommend a visit to anyone in Weston.

A trip to Weston would not be the same without a visit to this amazing sandwich shop. We visit here every time we come to Weston because of the wonderful choice of sandwiches and the very friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff especially as I'm one of the awkward ceoliac's lol. Couldn't do enough to help cleaned toaster etc just so I could have a blt toastie. Which was very yummy. Thankyou so much.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago. Served by a lovely lady and her daughter. I purchased a delightful vegetarian salad. Tasted very fresh, flavoursome and very reasonably priced. Tasted incredible. Delightful little sandwich bar not be missed.

I’m just going to save you a bit of time now; If you’re buying a sandwich in Weston super Mare, then all you have to do is go here. The food is lovely and it’s prepared and served with a smile. As a bit of a sandwich aficionado I can confirm that I’ve had a look around Weston and nowhere else comes close. There you go, job done.

Always fresh, always perfect. Ruth’s lovely! Nothings too much trouble. Fast service too. The choice of meals and snacks is always plentiful and a very friendly atmosphere. I spend far too much on lunches here but always worth it! The jerk chicken salad is my fav! Can’t wait to go back to work so I can have a lush lunch to go. Keep it up ladies

Friendly staff who are up for a laugh, quick service , good food. Very good location on corner of high street. Best to order food by phone and then get in & out fast before the rush at breakfast & lunch. Can be a bit of a queue as is very popular !!

The sandwich bar is a great place to pop in and have a quick snack! Nice and cheep, and pleasant staff too... just misses a 5 star due to it not quite being to the standards of Food Den (but the prices at No1 are so much better)...

My friend took me here because he knows I’m always up for trying new places. We went and I ordered a prawn baguette... I haven’t gone anywhere else for a sandwich since. The staff are all amazing and friendly, possibly some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. If you’re in weston for lunch, check this place out, reasonable pricing, friendly service, and lovely food. Although the mirror does get me each time I walk in.

Everything I've had here has been decent, it's a good sandwich bar for a quick, cheap bite to eat. Satisfying, but lacks the finesse of other nearby sandwich shops like the Food Den...

Excellent sandwiches and salads as well as baked potatoes and standard cafe fayre. Situated opposite Lloyds bank, well worth a visit.

Well we wanted a lunch and this was very fast service, the food was good and the staff were very helpful, ready in less than 4 mins

Llamado para café porque el Café tenía buen aspecto y estaba muy concurrido. Fuimos el primer otros en la misma calle y nos hubiera gustado haber elegido uno diferente. Sirvieron con dos cafés (uno con leche y un capuchino) y tuvimos que pedir las cucharaditas aunque había 3 chicas sirviendo detrás del mostrador haciendo muy poco! Tanto las bebidas sabor de un paquete y no hecha de granos de café baja. No lo recomendaría, y ciertamente no volvería.

Currently eating here. We are both having jacket potatoes They are great. Crab filling tastes lovely. Good quick service and really friendly staff.

Lovely couple seem to run this and a team of younger staff - served really quickly, orders always ready and correct, use this place regulary for lunch - nothing bad to say :)

Visited yesterday ( 16/1/2016). Daughter had cheese & tuna sandwich and I had jacket potato with cheese & coleslaw. My Daughter's was average, but my potato was just water at bottom and just pulp.The waitress on clearing away asked if food ok? So l politely said no and explained. With that she shouted out my answer to the other person behind the till.I recieved no apology and to add insult to injury as l was going out the door they said " enjoy the rest of your day ". I was not after another meal or money back, just an apology for the poor food would have been sufficient!! Such a shame as years ago, 2005 this little cafe was brilliant. I will not be going in again, and I suggest that you all don't waste your money on impolite staff, poor customer service and shoddy food.

Very friendly, excellent value for money. 2 people can eat in for around £10 including a drink. Freshly made sandwiches on hand cut crusty bread, a choice of toasted sandwiches or paninis, Jacket potatoes etc !

My roll was overcooked and tough, very little filling. Taste was OK nothing amazing though. Overall really disappointed

Met friends for a quick bite to eat while out shopping, long queues so obviously popular. The staff very efficient and fairly quickly we were served.Food good although could have had more filling in the sandwiches, not many places to sit so had to stand until someone left.Probably better just to use as a takeaway, very convenient to town centre, therefore good for shoppers and workers alike.

The office staff order for delivery on Fridays, maybe twice a month. When ringing, the staff on the phone are very helpful even though it is usually around 10+ orders to take down. Everything has always been delivered correctly and 9/10 every one really enjoys their sandwich. This is the only place I can think of in Weston to offer this service, and for free delivery too!

We visited here on at least three times during our week in WSM.Only for cakes and coffee on all occasions but was very pleased with the quality and service.Very fair prices too.

As the trades man said: Good, quick and cheap; you can have any two, but not all three. But here at No1 you get all three on a plate....... ( and they think I'm Banksy. I'm going with it! )

It says it on the front of the shop "no.1" Great sandwiches. Plenty of choice. Friendly staff. Bread is beautiful. Reasonably priced.

A lovely place, very friendly and very clean, they are always cleaning! Very quick service too, will be returning soon.

This place serves the best food I've tasted in ages and it does something that other places don't, their customer service is outstanding. Nothing is too much hassle for them and they make you feel so welcome. This is now a must stop for me on every visit to Weston!!

I live locally so often pop in here for my favourite burnt bacon sandwich on white. They have a great selection of snacks, sandwiches etc which are cooked freshly whilst you wait. The staff are very friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble..it's also very handy to pop in whilst in town. Would highly recommend!
