Always good service and beautiful food. Happy friendly atmosphere. Often meet with a friend for tea and cake but also have had the best breakfast freshly cooked with lots of choice.

We booked breakfasts for 10 people by phone for collection and they were all AMAZING. Tasty, fresh, and amazing value. The staff were friendly, portions were HUGE, I cannot rate this place or rave about it highly enough. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you HotH 😊

Beautifully cooked medium sized traditional breakfast, and a iced mocha on this hot day. I can honestly say it’s the best breakfast in portishead. Delivered through deliveroo. 10/10 service all round thank you.

The ladies at Heaven on the Hill gave us a brilliant lunch last week. So bright and positive despite all that they have been through (along with all the hospitality industry) during the past 15 months. We went for a Birthday lunch, they made a personalised birthday cake for us and were incredibly welcoming and accommodating for our 3 young children and even pet pooch! Food was delicious. Can't recommend enough. If only we lived closer (just visiting on a holiday) we'd be regulars!!

I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to my brother and sister in law, they both said it was delicious and excellent delivery service.. would definitely order again, thank you.

We eat here as a family regularly and one of favourite family pastimes. The food is delicious, fresh ,comfort food, with a lot of variety on the menu. Portions are also really generous and always good value for money. We look forward to returning as soon as we can for the famous crepes and waffle fingers!

Amazing service, very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Have had many cakes made to order and each one has been fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Great food, all prepared to order. Proper food served by people who care about what they're doing and their customers. Sensoble prices. Just don't go to Heaven on the Hill to lose weight!

Shamefully my first visit to this treasure in Portishead. Amazing breakfast (eggs on muffins) great service and perfect price. Will be back again and again. Portishead’s number one location in my view.

Extensive menu with three choices of Breakfast. Slight delay whilst we waited for food but worth waiting for as everything arrived fresh and hot. We had milkshakes with our meals which were lovely. Friendly staff and they offer a play area for infants. Definitely going back.

Popped in on a Friday morning with family - great service, friendly staff and very scrummy full english. I some how resisted buying any additional cakes afterwards!

Very friendly and helpful staff so a really pleasant experience overall. However, I didn't enjoy my Eggs Benedict as they did not use any hollandaise sauce and the slice of bread at the bottom was very thick so it was all a bit too dry (lower calories, apparently). Wouldn't put me off going back but I won't be ordering Eggs Benedict next time!

We celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary yesterday at Hall and Woodhouse, Portishead. Afterwards we came back to our house to enjoy some Champagne and delicious cupcakes made especially for us by the lovely ladies at Heaven on the Hill. 33 fantastic cakes, with lots of choices of flavours, were delivered to us on the Saturday afternoon ready for the next day. We even had lactose intolerant varieties. Thank you so much they looked beautiful and tasted amazing! Caz and Martin

Yo pedí una tarta para el cumpleaños de mi hija de 2 semanas de antelación con sólo una.Vicky estaba dispuesto a satisfacer nuestras necesidades en tan poca antelación y no nos decepcionó.Me envió una imagen de la Personalidad infantil cbeebies y ella fue capaz de hacer de limón y sin gluten!Tarta muy sabrosa y el deshielo no hizo durante la alimentación de la tarta!Todos los huéspedes comentado cómo precioso el pastel de aspecto y sabor.Sin duda recomendaría y utilizarlos de nuevo.El pastel es la araña de "Woolley Woolley y Tig".

They make the best cakes, any occasion, any style, just ask, they are brilliant, they made a Cacti cake for me, yes, a Cacti Cake, from a photo , just perfect !

Fuimos allí para el brunch en un sábado. Muy concurrido, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Poco de espera para nuestra comida, pero valió la pena. Todo estaba bien preparado y estaba caliente. El pan frito es para morirse! Adecuado pan, cortadas a mano precioso!

We occasionally have a breakfast at Heaven on the Hill. It's a child friendly environment with really accommodating staff. A must visit if u like a good old English fry up once in a while- and the coffee is good too!

We ordered 70 cupcakes for our babies naming day in 3 different flavours and we're thrilled with the results. They looked and tasted great. Lots of complements on the day from our guests.

Metimos en para el desayuno y que estaban muy ocupados. Puedo ver por qué muy agradable amigable equipo. Me dieron un café de cortesía, ya que tuvimos que esperar un poco para mi desayuno. Vale la pena la espera muy agradable!

The cakes looked delicious, but being lactose intolerant any thing with any dairy in it is a no for me.But staff very polite, drinks perfect. My daughter had a lot of fun and enjoyed her cake.

Staff couldnt be more helpful. Went with a few pictures to show the sort of thing i was thinking. Was really pleased with the end result and the service I got especially as I managed to collect the cake on the 30th December. Which went above and beyond as they were meant to be shut.

We visit the café regularly for their delicious snack lunches. The service is very good. The café is very child friendly and my friend's 2 year old adored the play area.The sandwiches are very generous in size and my children loved the waffle fingers so much we had a second batch!

Had a birthday cake from this shop and it was dry and stale. Awful cake shop. Very disappointed and won't be coming here again!

Sunday afternoon spent with 18 friends reflecting on our holiday together in May. We all enjoyed well filled sandwiches, fruit scones with lashings of strwaberry jam and cream, washed down with endless cups of tea or a choice of coffees. Excellent service delivered in a quiet, convivial atmosphere. We'll be back!

I ordered a special birthday cake for my Mum's 80th birthday from Heaven on the Hill and am so pleased I chose them. From my first meeting with Vicki I felt confident that I'd get exactly what I wanted but was blown away when I collected the cake, it was wonderful! The attention to detail was fantastic and it tasted great too! My Mum loved her cake so thank you Vicki & team for helping to make her special day so memorable. I would highly recommend Heaven on the Hill for a celebration cake (they make great cupcakes too).I should mention that the cafe uses quality ingredients and serves excellent cooked breakfasts & lunches, also a good range of sandwiches, cakes etc at a very reasonable price. All the staff are very friendly & helpful. There is a nice atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. This cafe is a real gem.

It's lovely to find a cafe that actually welcomes children and has great, fresh, locally sourced food. Menu is simple but has enough variety to satisfy. From freshly made sandwiches to full cooked breakfasts. Cream tea or cakes. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are happy to do take away orders of bacon butties or sandwiches or indeed take away cupcakes!One of my favourite treats is the white hot chocolate with whipped cream and crushed peppermint on top - deliciously sinful but so worth it.My daughter loves the waffle dipping fingers, or the Dutch pancakes so we are all happy to visit. We even get to finish our drinks with some adult conversation whilst she plays with the wooden kitchen!Lastly they offer celebration cakes to order and they look and taste amazing. My birthday cake was a work of art and I will be going back to them again!
