Toogies in North Somerset

went to look for places the other day to have breakfast and saw this place. the food is so good and very kind young woman called nicola i think it was 10/10 will be coming back

We were staying in the Tivoli Bungalow for a week, the cafe was across the road from us and we used 3mornings for takeaway breakfast baps,10/10, phoned the order in and it was ready very quickly, well done to all concerned.

We were staying self catering in the Tivoli Bungalow 5mins from the cafe,we got breakfast baps 3 of the mornings as takeaway, they were beautiful and very reasonable, would definitely recommend it.

We have had a lovely breakfast the staff are amazing they are always welcomeing when we go in it's also dog friendly and sometimes we take are dog in and they always give him a treat he loves it lovely place would recommend to all 😀

Two of us called in on a Saturday morning & they were very busy but they squeezed us in and did advise us of a 25 minute wait for food, again the breakfast was great plenty of it well cooked & hot the wait did'nt seem that long ! the girls work so well in the cafe and are a credit nothing was too much trouble keep up the great work 👍☕️can't wait to go back for breakfast again!

What a lovely cafe indeed. Situated in the middle of the Boulevard in Weston Town, Toogies is very well placed to catch passing trade, and of course is very well known by the locals. I visited here on a Friday lunchtime and found a seat easily. Within moments our order was taken and drinks were served while we waited for our Full English breakfast. Ali, our waitress was awesome, very polite and made us feel very welcome. Our food was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely and was served piping hot. All round a very pleasurable experience.

Where do people think they are The Ritz they didnt pay £200.00 for rubbish tiny portion of food I had the Roast Dinner and a pudding my daughter the breakfast all perfectly cooked excellant value for the money. As to say the place was dated and dirty no its not, the staff are very friendly quick service even though they were very busy . As to the the girl who served and didnt speak maybe she was having an off day .

Not a nice experience, young girl was very rude and hardly spoke a word to me, had to ask her to clean my table, which she cleaned with a paper towel and left it still filthy. Cafe is very dirty and dated all round, old musty carpet which has been there for years. I’ve been going here for a while but now seems like the owners do not care anymore, gone very downhill. My food was then served to me undercooked, covered in black bits from the unchanged oil, I then had to wait a further ten minutes for cutlery, after asking the girl she then proceeded to serve other people leaving my food to go cold, I then had to go and find cutlery myself. At the end of this, I was then overcharged for my order! Would not recommend going here, lots of other cafes in weston that are so much better!

Place has gone downhill, in serious need of a refurb. Behind the hill where the cups are kept it’s filthy and badly outdated. I’ve seen on previous reviews they state it’s leased and not owned so only so much they can do.. which is only an excuse, new flooring over the old and a deep clean and painting/updating of the counters would make a massive difference. I get the same breakfast everytime I’ve been in here and am always charged different prices. Will be avoiding in the future.

Had Sunday lunch looking forward to it left very disappointed had a Beef dinner the quality of the meat was terrible cheap and bland no taste to it was supposed to be a large roast no way near a large portion finished with a cherry pie with custard it was again bland no taste custard watery very disappointed won't be going back.

Lovely clean cafe, welcomed on entrance, food was great but I unfortunately ordered to much 😬. Great coffee. Great price. Worth a visit

Popped in here for lunch with 2 fussy children, allergens were taken care of respectfully and plenty of choices available including vegetarian. (We are a veggie family) Competitive prices and friendly service, definitely recommend.

Such a lovely place!! We went in today for breakfast with family who travelled from Kent and our son. It’s child friendly too. Very clean and amazing for the value. My sons meal was big for the price, and as always the food and service for us was brilliant. :)

First visit on Bank Holiday Monday quite a few customers in .waited quite a while for breakfast and drink .Food was good and staff friendly most likely as it was Bank Holiday shortage of staff

Good, honest little cafe at reasonable prices.

We visit this cafe regularly as a family of four, with two young children. We're always welcomed, the kids always get colouring pencils to keep them busy, and the service is always prompt and super friendly. The food is very reasonably priced, portions generous, always piping hot when served, and never over-cooked. It's (in my experience) the best cooked breakfast in town, and has never let us down.

Without exception, breakfast is always perfectly cooked here. The staff are friendly and the whole place spotless. This is the best breakfast in Weston super Mare so don’t waste time going anywhere else!

Been here before and not a problem but 2 days ago went back and totally disappointed to say the least we had a large breakfast and a cheeseburger on its own the breakfast my partner could not eat fried bread was totally fried snappy and the taste of oil was awful blackpudding was under done sausage was also overdone onionrings was fried to death could not attempt to eat at all so all was left my cheeseburger was so greasy 1 bite felt like I had lip gloss on we left the meals I paid 17 gbp for and when paying I did say it was not usually like this and said why the server was not interested and just said sorry about that and took my money her attitude was way off so never again total waste of money and we had to go elsewhere to eat she did not even bother to look at the meal nor rectify any issue so don't bother

I absolutely loved this place for breakfast. Can make up your own breakfast. I had 7 items. They even provided me with BBQ sauce. I dont like Brown or Red. So as you can tell. They cater perfectly for the fussy ones. Everything was cooked perfectly and they have a good selection of drinks.

Coming from treats not far away...its just as tasty but there's soooo much more room. Treats tables are very squished if theres more than two of you. This is now my go to cafe in weston 👍

Food good overall, a little overcooked.. Poor service, didn't seem to be any interest in the customer, just a forced smile when taking the money.

Just in for a tea first time in there staff pleasant they do lunch breakfast and cheap meals for 60 plus which I found very good I will be going in there sometime for food x

Went in for brunch with visiting family from France. Staff friendly and efficient. Lovely bright and airy cafe and the food was well cooked and presented. We were checked on to make sure all was well. We are very local so easy to meander down but parking usually not a problem in the vicinity. Definately recommend.

Just had the cottage pie, new pots, and peas. A choice of puddings and a cup of coffee. All for £5.99. WOW!!! Cottage pie is home made.

Visited last weekend and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast as usual. Everything is always cooked to order, served with a smile and reasonably priced. The team here work tirelessly to keep everything extremely clean - no sticky tables here - and keep the customers served. We love coming here and it’s our ‘go to’ place for breakfast if family and friends visit. Never disappointed. Thank you all.

Have loved this place for years, decently priced breakfast/brunch meals are the highlight! Staff are lovely as well, when I was here the other week, I accidentally left my bag behind! Luckily when I realised and got back, even though it was past closing time, the staff were still there and had kept it safe, I'm so thankful for that, thank you guys!

Not sure what has happened to Toogies but we've been there for the last time. Dry overcooked tasteless food, seasoned and dry. I had the worst example of cottage pie I have ever seen. Grey gristly dry meat, no colour or seasoning whatever covered with a smear or scrape of transparent stuff which might have been potato or wallpaper paste. Next to it on the plate was a scoop or spoonful of peas, cooked but cold and again unseasoned. So very disappointing.

Today was my first time in Weston-Super-Mare and I happened to notice Toogies cafe. I find it hard visiting new places sometimes because of my anxiety but it looked clean, fresh and inviting when I looked in. The staff were so welcoming, gave me everything I needed without having to ask. Served at my table and I paid at the end. The ladies working there were kind and always cleaning and being attentive. It was the first nice fry up I've had in a long time as well such a shame I don't live closer I'd be there all the time. Very relaxing, quiet family feel to it. Thank you for making my first visit memorable and such great food!! Thank you x

Great service and food at a great price. We had brunch here today. I can genuinely say this is the first time I have had a cooked breakfast when a chef understands ‘bean containment’ our sausages were used a breakwater. No one likes a soggy hash brown or waffle!! 😂🙌🙌 We’ve lived in Weston for five years and are gutted we only visited for our first time today. They also offer a Gluten Free menu which is great for coeliacs.

Gone down hill Over the last 8years of living in weston super mare we have had various meals in toogies but this last breakfast eggs under cooked sausages poor quality cooked a long time before service generally cooked to quickly or batch cooked and waited on side service not up to standard which we had normally expected I am sorry to be honest but you have to be told so you can address the issues

My partner and I came here for breakfast and it was delicious. There was a small error with my meal, but when it was pointed out it was quickly replaced with sincere apologies. My partners 'tumfiller' was perfect and he ate every bite. The staff here are very hardworking and friendly. They seemed to be very busy and we still recieved great service.

Just enjoyed Breakfast at Toogies .. One of the best breakfasts around , great choice and good value for money. Very Tasty and not swimming in grease . Staff very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble . Was impressed by the standard of cleanliness and Covid Rules followed . Definitely go again ..

No complaints at all. Popped in today as was in the area doing some street art photography and needed breakfast. Having been once before I knew it was good. Service is quick and friendly. All tables are marked when cleaned and the whole set up is really Covid secure while not making you feel uncomfortable. Food is served quickly is well cooked and breakfasts no greasy at all. Eggs just as I like them and really good prices
