The best restaurants in North Somerset South West

Went to this restaurant for a casual meal with our Son. The food was ok, nothing special. Our problem came with the bill, 10% service charge added, which was not really on the menus posted outside. 2 of us had the 2 course offer. Husband had the main menu. On arriving home to Cornwall later we found there were 4 on the special offer deal. May go here again but would definitely be checking the bill more carefully!Not great

Good fast service, great food, ordered salt and pepper chips with batter and got plain, but besides that we were very hsppy with our food.

Another great family meal during half term. Quality, food choice and price always good. Sarah and her team always provide great customer service and friendly atmosphere.

Webb here for pancakes as it was pancake day. Yummy pancakes, nice view sitting outside overlooking the sea. Can get very busy when it's sunny and nice weather. I thought the pancakes were quite expensive as I paid for the plain pancakes then had to pay for the bacon separately. I had bacon with maple syrup on 3 American pancakes Definitely go there again as the food was good. The staff could be a bit more friendly but it was quite busy so maybe they were tired

Very tired and run down. Ordered the Sunday lunch. Everything cooked from frozen and no root veg mash, cabbage or stuffing as we were expecting from the menu. Large undercooked carrots and peas were the only vegetables we had. Didn’t bother complaining as it was so bad, we just wanted to get out of there. Staff were nice enough but the place requires a lot of work to get it back up to scratch. Until then… avoid, avoid, avoid!

Great place to stop for food and drinks pre-flight. Special shout out to Joe who was really attentive and gave excellent service

Great service and lots of parking but the food was terrible. Soggy pie. Green mouldy chips that smell like gas… caused by rancid oil that hasn’t been changed and old potatoes that have gone off / growing bacteria. I went in quite late, half an hour before they closed so understandably the staff were cleaning. They were polite & friendly but one of them was generously spraying chemicals around kitchen while the other was cooking. At first I thought that’s why the food had a funny smell to it. I tried a bit of the pie but lost my appetite and had to throw it away after looking up the real reason on Google (see photos)

Really disappointed in the service here today. I was overcharged buying 2 ice creams - one scoop of chocolate ice cream in a wafer cone and one Mr Whippy in a waffle cone was £8.40. I could see this was incorrect from the prices listed on the board but despite going back twice to try and sort this, the young girl behind the till refused to acknowledge that I had been overcharged despite me adding it up repeatedly in front of her. By this point my little boys ice cream was melting everywhere and he was getting upset so I left. As well as this there was loud music on the speaker by the ice cream counter which was blaring the F word multiple times. You could hear it the other end of the beach. We won't be returning!

Really lovely pub, excellent food and really good prices for the quality and portion sizes. Staff are always friendly and the pub is nicely decorated, the seasonal decor is always a nice touch. Really good on dietary restrictions and vegetarian options. Our party held both allergies (dairy and gluten) and a vegetarian and we all manage to have something we really enjoy worry free on every visit

When we got in, there was nobody behind the bar and we had to wait until the bartender bothered to turn up ,both our glasses were very dirty

It's closed down! Visited Saturday 15th June and it's completely shut down!
