Frydays fish and chips in North Somerset

Great service and lots of parking but the food was terrible. Soggy pie. Green mouldy chips that smell like gas… caused by rancid oil that hasn’t been changed and old potatoes that have gone off / growing bacteria. I went in quite late, half an hour before they closed so understandably the staff were cleaning. They were polite & friendly but one of them was generously spraying chemicals around kitchen while the other was cooking. At first I thought that’s why the food had a funny smell to it. I tried a bit of the pie but lost my appetite and had to throw it away after looking up the real reason on Google (see photos)

Food was delicious! Good sized portions, everything can as ordered and on time.

Twenty minutes late for delivery. Food was stone cold. Scampi tasted old. Curry sauce like a consume soup. Only ordered from here as blue fish is closed. Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else.

Hithe food we ordered was not good the wraps were all cold as they were wrapped in paper no foil, the fish and chips were cold so not eaten much, and the saveloys were horrible and tasted watery and were dying everything red. we had four hungry kids here so a treat dinner turned into a horrible inedible dinner, £66 isn’t a small amount of money to waste!!

had fish and chips delivered with deliveroo tonight never again 30 mins late when it arrived cold and soggy had to throw it in the bin such a shame had a cheese sandwhich instead and that cost me 16 pounds and the shop would not even answer the phone really upset

Poor quality chicken Chard on one side tough to eat. Notes requested all salad excluding onions and only cabbage was given looked an appetising. Was unable to eat. Chips were cold.

Food arrived stone cold and swimming in grease, at 40% off that's bad enough but at full price I'd be livid. Can't recommend unfortunately 😕

Great and plentiful food as always with a polite delivery driver. However regrettably very late (just over 30 mins)! Not the end of the world and I will be ordering again but maybe get better at your estimates?

Was given chicken strips instead of chicken nuggets and when ordered cheesy chips was given plain chips

We love fry days as they cater for the whole family with all the options they have not only that all the staff are really friendly and helpful the foods always hot and fresh and its great value for money

Food never arrived, just eat wouldn’t sort it out they delivered it to a different house when I spoke to them they were ignorant and didn’t offer a refund.

Such a shame as we usually enjoy the food from here. Nearly 2 hours to deliver (applied for compensation, restaurant refused this). Food luke warm on arrival, some of it needed microwaving before eating. Kebab was on the smaller side, considering it was meant to be a large! I don’t think we’ll be ordering from here again

took over an hour to arrive (I am 5 mins down the road from them) but needed it delivered as I'm disabled was stone cold on arrival unable to eat it or re heat it not happy at all phoned chipshop.to be told sorry they ve had alot of orders!well that's not the point don't put a deal on if you can't produce good hot food for your customers! currently waiting for order to be cooked and re delivered again,got my kids here hungry wanting their tea! not happy at all!! do not order from here I wont be

said 45 min delivery time. ordered food 19.20pm and food didn't arrive till 21.00pm. Food cold and soggy

food ordered over 2 hours ago, time changed twice and still did not make it on time , when I called up twice he said food is on way , I called at 9 07 pm and they said its on the way , I called at 9 25 pm said the same food on way , this is not acceptable , we are regular customers and never normally haha a problem but this evening is awful, order was wrong , there was ham on my pizza, order clearly states no ham finally arrived 9 39

delivery time is accurate but it takes to long. we have ordered a few times, first time was nice, so we ordered again but food was cold. took ages to arrive after notification to say it was on the way, decided to try again as might of been a busy night. again the food itself is tasty but it arrived cold again.

Late, but they did apologise and explain that it was very busy. The food more than made up for it.

Never turned up! Called 3 times, each time they said on its way… still waiting! Never had an issue! But never going with them again! DONT RECOMMEND

Good service and above all very good food

Chips were dry and tasted of old oil, ignored the request for salt and vinegar. Battered sausages both dry,over cooked and split,batter was dreadful. Kebab not pleasant, no chilli sauce but we added a side of garlic mayo, tipped it on and it was not garlic mayo, it was minted mayo, more like a raita, ruined the kebab, won't be ordering again as £20 went in the bin.

Great prompt service phoned my order through and after a eight minute drive the food was ready, large varied menu fish chips burgers kebabs pizza and also some deserts.

Lovely food, fast delivery and great quantity, was a small mistake that was quickly sorted! 100* recommend we will be back! Delivery driver was nice and polite too

The food was dreadful. A large fish ordered was not large and it was tough and rubbery and tasted awful. The chips tasted like the oil in the fryers hadn't been changed and I threw it in the bin . I ordered cheese cake which was a soggy gateaux not a cheesecake . The order was late . All very disappointing

Ordered as was poorly.... Ordered a wrap had no sauce in and was a soggy mess. Ordered pizza for my daughter it was completely burnt. My delivery was 40 minutes late with no answer or explanation

Great service. Great guy to have a chat with. Got to shop 10 mins before closing guy had already cleaned ovens but still put them back on to cook my food he didn't mind at all. Food was absolutely lovely and portion size was brilliant highly recommend. Shall definitely be going back.

Lazy and scamming. "Very good delivery driver of 10 years" couldn't be bothered to walk up some stairs so decided to run off with our food and eat it himself obviously! Took ages to answer the phone and stated it has been left outside or in the hallway apparently, no food and no refund, more annoying that i wanted to order from somewhere else and had to settle for here, sincerely hope the delivery driver enjoyed our food it was probably dropped on the floor before being bagged up🤢🤮

Gave us extra food (we presume it’s because it was towards the end of the night) although it was really poor quality. The chips were soggy and undercooked so most of the food went in the bin

best pizza and kebabs in weston by far will not order from anywhere else. friendly delivery driver aswell
