We had a roast lunch there today for the 2nd time this month the food was excellent the staff are all friendly and very polite well done Micheal and your team keep up the good work .we will be back again in 2 weeks time.

This place is closed for business as told by fish and chips shop opposite.

Excellent! Had combi Chicken..better than KFC! Large portions, my Partner taken one piece into work for lunch and me and my dog got Chicken and chips for lunch.Must say we usually have the Kebabs which are HUGE,no rating for atmosphere as we pop in and go.lol

What an a amazing place. After a long walk to get there it was worth the 5*rating . Hubby had the Fish and Chips and I had the Belly of Pork from the specials board .OMG what an amazing choice .the staff was 1st class and help us so thank you .we would recommend to anyone go and have an amazing meal xx

8th of may 2025. A dozen people sued BK "the plaintiffs alleged that the advertisements showcased burgers that were "approximately 35% larger in size, and contain more than double the meat, than the actual burger." When I read that the other day I thought it was another crazy American story but it spreads worldwide. Haven't eaten burger kind for a year and I had memories of gigantic burgers. That has changed, today I got a bacon double cheeseburger smaller than my hand, dry with under cooked bacon. Then the cheese loaded fries, maybe it is because I am French but the cheese was tasteless. Finally, the halloumi fries, taste good but 1£ per piece?? For me, today closes the debate between McDonald's and Burger King. McDonald's wins. Burger King got humiliated 🏳️

We popped in here for a meal on the way home from a weekend at Ruda Holiday Park. The menu and so much choice but after walking past the carvery we had have that and it didn’t disappoint. One of the best carveries I have ever had and I am really fussy with them. Gorgeous beer garden with a little park for the kids as well. Will definitely return when we are back in the area, need to try the normal menu and abundance of specials!

We once again paid a visit during our recent trip to Combe Martin and once again we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff, excellent food, especially the Pack of Cards burger, with reasonable prices and huge portions. Our youngest son could not wait to finish his dinner so he could go back onto the playground. Another excellent and happy experience at the Pack of Cards.

Great pub, atmosphere lively and great grub. Portion sizes are generous - I had the dirty fries with chilli and hot dog another night. Busy so had to sit in garden but much quieter than inside.

Outstanding food and a brilliantly hosted evening. The food was delicious - the best I have ever eaten. Sharon was a perfect host, engaging the guests in conversation and creating a lovely atmosphere. If you are going to Ilfracombe book ahead - it is worth planning for!
