Absolutely shocking. One of the worst curries I’ve ever had. You should not be calling it ‘Thai’. Lidl’s curry paste 69p, plain rice, cheap chicken thighs £4.50, and tin of coconut milk 65p. That’s roughly six quid. So go and buy that from Lidl, cook for ten people and will taste better. Don’t ruin your holiday.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I never ever write reviews but it was so good - I had to! Really wonderful flavours and we Absolutely loved the dog outside just added to the charm. Really friendly guy and deserves the business 5*

Fabulous tasty food prepared by a true Thai chef. I had Chicken with bamboo and rice. Spicy chicken wings. Delicious, if you’re in the village give it a go

Very welcoming great quick service 10min for a takeaway. Really enjoyed our massaman and penang curries tonight. Fragrant and flavoursome just the way Thai should be.

Absolutely delicious food, friendly owner, lovely dog, the chicken was tender, the rice cooked perfectly, quite spicy but that was good for me. Owner recommended the chicken massaman for our young ones as his mildest which they said was their favourite meal of the holidays. Will return next time in the area.

This is my second summer visiting Woolacombe and this is my go to place for authentic Thai food around the area. The curries are absolutely delicious, I’ve tried the green, massaman and the roasted red duck curry which I have to give a special mention to, definitely my favourite !! They are all incredible with the perfect spice levels and size portions ! The owner is a lovely fella, extremely friendly and the perfect place to bring your dogs with you as he provides treats for them so all in all a place not to be missed, highly recommended!!

We come to Woolacombe every summer and this is the second year that we’ve tried En Thai Singh. We are here for two weeks and have been twice this year already. We love Thai food and this fabulous takeaway does not disappoint! A small, limited menu, which is one of the best things about it. The meals are all delicious - main meal portions aren’t massive so I would recommend at least one main each. Tonight my husband and I shared 3 main meals and 2 rice and this was perfect (the rice is a standard takeaway size rice so you could possibly share this between 2) Each time we have been we have loved our meal. Please try this fab little takeaway - it is tucked away on a side street so could be easily missed…unless you are waiting in the chippy queue for over an hour as it is just across from the chippy!!

The food and service were both fantastic and we got some insight into real Thai food which made the experience more interesting and memorable. Definitely going to become a spot that I visit regularly

Please avoid if you want tasty food. We were in the area on holiday and we’re excited to find the Thai. We paid £30.50 for 2 curry’s and a bag of prawn crackers and the curry’s were horrific. They were oily water with no flavour, I’ve never seen a runnier “curry”. The beef had about 6 pieces of 2p size beef and the chicken was a boiled thigh still on the bone just dumped in the container. We actually laughed about the meal because it was horrific and I do not understand how anyone is willingly serving that to people. The guy who owns the business is great with customers and is very friendly but he knows that (as you can’t sit in) you most likely won’t bother taking it back. Please don’t spend your money like we did! The positive reviews are definitely fake

Really really grim. Cheap twangy chicken with no taste. Probably the worst thing I've ever tried to eat. Expensive as well.

Been waiting for a Thai takeaway in Woolacombe for a long time as the drive out to Braunton was always a bit of a drag. Unfortunately this one did not live up to expectations. Food all a bit bland, watery and lacking in anything other than chicken and sauce. No mushrooms, onions noodles or any kind of veg. Also quite pricey too for what you get. Back to Braunton it is such a shame will not be back.

Just pretty rubbish I’m afraid. Three watery green curries with little spice. I won’t be going next time I’m in woolacombe. I’ll just get a chippy I think.

Delicious food, friendly, helpful service and not too long a wait. I had the satay curry, which was tasty, but my husband had the Tom yum curry, which was just amazing. Highly recommend this place

Spent over £70, place looked ‘en Thai Singh’ however, food was unappetising. Curries were just watered down tasting bland and extremely overpriced.

Diabolical. Avoid like the plague. Food is microwaved from the fridge. A £2 Tesco ready made meal is far better quality (£12.50 here). Brown chewy meat and no taste in the sauce. It went straight in the bin. Now I can see why there was no que. Don’t be fooled by the positive (likely fake) reviews - it’s really bad. I would rather wait 1.5 hours in the chip shop que. Please don’t ruin your bank holiday weekend!

This place is fantastic. I Decided to try the place after looking at the endless queue for the chip shop. The food turned up after only a small wait and defied all expectations. You have to give this one a go. The Thai curry is authentic, tasty and includes prompt service. The staff are dead friendly and committed to making sure you have the best experience. Will eat there again for sure. Definitely what Woolacombe needed for many years.

We had some amazing Thai food here in June 22. The Katsu Chicken was superb and the rest of the family had the green chicken curry which they raved about! Would thoroughly recommend stopping here for a small but perfectly formed Thai menu (they rotate dishes through the weeks).

Really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it was just ok, good size portions as in plenty of rice but lacking in flavour. I suspect chef is not Asian cuisine trained or even family taught as the main flavour is coconut milk in the yellow curry, vegan tikka masala bland and katsu chicken again lacking in flavour. Thai prawn crackers fab though! Only recently opened so still time to deliver hopefully.

Just finished my last ever takeaway from the Hong Kong Chef as its Sam and Pauline's last day today after serving great Chinese fare for the last 41 years in Braunton. Wishing you both all the very best for a long and happy retirement and safe travels wherever you go. Best Yeung Chow fried rice since Singapore! Take care, we'll miss you!

No wonder the place is so dead for a Friday night, even the phones for takeaway were quiet. looked online and found this place, drove 20 mins away for it, only to find the menu was a lot higher than online prices, wouldn’t mind paying this if the food was nice and portions reasonable. Was charged for prawn crackers when the bill was £90+ what happened to free prawn crackers, we paid £8 for 3 ribs disgusting and wasn’t even that nice, the chicken balls weren’t that nice, the rest was okay but portions not great for the price, when we mentioned the stuff we were unhappy about the woman was super argumentative about trying to justify it. And the bill come and the prices were higher than was the as on the menu agajn. Drinks were advertised as a coke but was given Pepsi, only a small thing but it’s a big difference, just advertise what you have
