Great place to eat if you want to visit these places. Delicious food, nearby parking, quiet place, wide choice of products although unfortunately not all available, the outside is well looked after. The only thing was that we had to wait a while for the dishes we ordered.

Amazing food and friendly service.

We didn't stay here but had an evening meal. It's a quaint little pub that ticks all my old codger boxes. A good choice of ales and wine together with pleasant staff and a friendly atmosphere. What's not to like? Perhaps our meal, which was a bit of a mixed bag. I think their strength is the pizza judging by its popularity. The wife thoroughly enjoyed hers but my chilli con carne was a bit thin and lacked flavour. Not a deal breaker but then my dessert arrived. It was a banoffee 'thing', and all I could do was laugh. Skye, our lovely waitress, was so apologetic for bringing it out. You need to see the photo. Unfortunately it wouldn't give you much faith in the kitchen. Despite this we had a pleasant time and the pooch enjoyed lying in front of the real fire.

Prices are average for Barnstaple. Good friendly staff and the karaoke is mostly good fun, Fri & Sat

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. The staff treated us unfairly and made us feel unwelcome due to our race. It was clear that we were being singled out, as other customers were treated much better. No one should have to experience this kind of discrimination in 2025. I hope the management addresses this serious issue. Would not recommend.

Popped in on Tuesday 25th Feb Very warm welcome Both had a really nice coffee, I am not an expert on coffee but this tasted so good, I had black and my wife had a flat white, both very hot. I had a bacon sandwich with fresh granary bread, butcher’s bacon and a nice helping of brown sauce. The manager had a lovely chat with us explaining why we were not able to book a table which i fully understand. The menu is very good and very different and we are returning with friends on Friday for brunch, can’t wait. Gra and Sandy.

Fantastic food, lovely friendly staff, excellent decor with cosy booths, standard tables or high bar tables. Great selection of beers wines, spirits and soft drinks. Play zone with PS5, Switch and PC to entertain kids of all ages. Pool tables, Ping pong tables and a huge soft play area too! A wonderful place to enjoy time with family and friends or celebrate an occasion. Highly, highly recommended!

We stopped off for a drink and snack. Clad we did. Good choice of toasted sandwiches,pasties and sausage rolls and cakes. Teas and coffees to pick from too. What I liked best was that it was roomy. You weren't squeezed in and felt relaxed. Nice place to sit and chill and chat.

It was nice and clean inside and the only member of staff that we saw was really friendly and that's about it. The food wasn't brilliant, well cooked but lacking in taste which is unusual for Indian cuisine. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, sorry!!.

Visited hear sevaral times over the years, best pub in Mortehoe and lovely outside space. Food is excellent and you can tell care has been taken. Not just pub grub but some interesting menu items. Great for kids and adults alike.

Starters cold , main mega spicy and lots of raw onions ,service good but even though quiet and language barrier, nice rice, fresh nann , it won't be a retun to for us

Very clean and nice breakfast. Ideally located for all thing in Chumleigh.
