Old Bake House is a lovely guest house. Holly and Colin are great hosts. The room was nice the breakfast very good including the coffee which was important for me and their service without fault. I loved the fact that the buildings kept a lot of their old charm and Holly showed me a church chair which becomes a table if needed. Though the house doesn't have parking, it wasn't a problem parking up the street. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful little break, staying at The Old Bakehouse. Chulmleigh is a very quaint, english country village with nice shops and great pubs. The room we had was lovely - clean, tidy, and we had plenty of tea and biscuits supplied. The breakfasts are AMAZING with lots of choice and the owners were really helpful and nice.

Came here Sunday morning to get a freshly cooked breakfast, everywhere else was closed except the captains table. Ordered to takeaway so we could eat on the beach but ended up eating in as it was such

First time in Barnstable for some years, followed Google directions to The Pilton Fryer! And I am glad I did, really friendly, bubbly and helpful staff and to top things off the food was lovely!

Huge, delicious scones as part of a cream tea. They were freshly baked and came with generous portions of jam and clotted cream. Highly recommended but a bit dangerous for your waistline.
