Fantastic food, lovely friendly staff, excellent decor with cosy booths, standard tables or high bar tables. Great selection of beers wines, spirits and soft drinks. Play zone with PS5, Switch and PC to entertain kids of all ages. Pool tables, Ping pong tables and a huge soft play area too! A wonderful place to enjoy time with family and friends or celebrate an occasion. Highly, highly recommended!

absaloutley fantastic service here from all the staff! Sunday carvery is probably the best I've ever had, very friendly Chef, and Tyler the manager is an extremely Nice guy! he was fantastic with me and my kids. 100% recommend

We had Sunday lunch here and Wow. Absolutely 100%. Lovely cooked food, really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The manageress was super friendly and even sat and had a chat with us. Definitely worth a visit.

Not much of an atmosphere very quiet. Polite service and friendly. Food was very tasty and hot and portions were spot on. Even if the burger was a little big.

We really needed this break, service isn't quick but gives us time to chill so all good by us! Presume most is cooked fresh. Food was excellent as always, crispy pots, soft meats, crunchy veg, just perfect, complete with all the condiments you would need on the plate and table! Thank you so very much for a lovely Sunday lunch...Noe food coma time x

Sunday lunch was brilliant, we arrived at12.55 and the place looked closed and was very cold, but people started to come in and it got a bit warmer then the food arrived and it made it all worth while, extremely generous amount of food that was very well cooked and presented and at £8.99 you would be pushed to make it home at that price. Highly recommend

Our second visit to the themed buffet nights and unfortunately the same problems with the service remained. There was an internet issue which again meant no draft beers or pints and tills were down so some customers left. The food was plentiful but no gyros or signs saying what the the different food was so no idea if veggie or not. Plenty of staff on but no one clearing plates or tidying round the buffet area so chips on the floor being squashed in by guests. Atmosphere was lacking due to no music so we ate and left whereas if there was a bit more vibe we may have stayed and spent more there

Horrendously slow, stood in a line for 15 minutes at the bar waiting to be served, only to be told they didn't have what we were after (Pepperoni pizza, one of their most popular items). Thus despite having 3 bar staff floating around the bar, cleaning up and giving you the occasional glance. The food took nearly an hour to come through after that! To make matters worse the cheese burger arrived with no cheese, and the oMac and cheese was tasteless and bland. Very disappointing 😞

We are a family of 12 was really helpful with everything and was really nice food the kids ate just about everything on their plates staff are so nice and friendly definitely recommend

Went here yesterday for Sunday dinner/roast, absolutely outstanding food and beef juicy and tender. Truly value for money and clean and tidy resort. Would definitely go again as we are local.

We discovered this restaurant today, and I'm pleased to say it is a cracking little place and great value too! 2 adults roast dinners plus two kids roast dinners for £21.99! For that price we weren't expecting too much. However, the food was amazing! No fast, cheap and cheerful food here. All homemade with a lot of love and care from some very skilled professional chefs. Best roast I've had in a long time. There's also a good-sized soft play area for the little ones, and it's dog friendly, too. It's fair to say we will be back the next time we are in the area 🙂. Also, they sell lovely milkshakes too.

I cannot express enough my disappointment this place, a take away restaurant that has managed to ruin my dining experience entirely. To say that my encounter has been a nightmare. I placed an online order, eagerly anticipating a delicious meal, only to have my hopes shattered as I never received anything . Naturally, I assumed it was a simple mistake, but what followed was an absolute lack of accountability from the restaurant. My first attempt to reach the restaurant was met with an excuse and a promise to refound the money. Until today, no response to my emails, no answer to my phone calls. It seemed as if they had vanished into thin air, taking my money with them. Persistence drove me to continue my attempts at communication, desperately hoping for an explanation or, at the very least, a refund. Weeks passed, and my frustration grew. It became clear that this establishment had no intention of fulfilling its obligations to its customers. I have never encountered such a level of disregard for basic customer service principles. It is utterly unacceptable to take someone's money, fail to deliver the promised product, and then vanish into the shadows without a trace. The lack of professionalism and basic decency displayed by Monkey Puzzle is appalling. Their actions reflect a complete disregard for the value of their customers and the importance of customer satisfaction. Not only have they stolen my hard-earned money, but they have also stolen my time and trust. I implore anyone considering ordering from Monkey Puzzle to think twice. Don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid this establishment at all costs. Not only will you be left hungry and disappointed, but you may also find yourself fighting for a refund that may never come. This place has shown a complete lack of integrity and responsibility. I urge them to rectify this situation promptly, return the money they owe, and provide an explanation for their unacceptable behavior. Until then, I will continue to share my harrowing experience with as many people as possible, in the hopes that others can be spared the frustration and loss that I have endured.

We recently visited for a drink and to pick up their Sunday lunch leftover box. Staff were friendly and helpful, drinks good and reasonably priced and the leftover box was amazing value and so tasty! We always have a good experience when we visit there

We came a few weekends ago for Sunday lunch with friends! We have been coming for a while now. By far the best roast in town and with the amazing family deal it is very affordable. The chef went above and beyond sending extras to our table as we were the last booking. The customer service was exceptional, the lovely lady with a northern accent looked after us very well, I believe she is new as we have not come across her before! Her customer service skill were amazing she made sure both us and the children were well looked after an asset to the business. We look forward to our next visit

Recently went to the restaurant for a roast dinner with my family. The restaurant manager was helpful & friendly, the staff looked very smart and were very accommodating. The roast dinners themselves were so good. Very good value for the portion size and incredibly tasty. As local people We have been up to the restaurant a couple of times now and we have been very happy with the food and service we have received. Keep up the good work guys! 👍😃

Fantastic tasty Sunday roast enjoyed by us all. Amazing value for money. Only issue is the children were served last so our meal was going cold while cutting up children's meal. But we'll certainly be back soon. Ideal for large parties with children.

Amazing food well worth the money

Freshly cooked amazing roast beef meal. The best I’ve had in a long time. Huge portion too. (And then soft play to wear our 2 year old out - what’s not to love?!) Oh and all the staff were lovely, helpful & very friendly. Would highly recommend (especially as we weren’t staying here).

Brilliant Sunday Roast for our family get together for 10 people. Excellent food, quality and taste. Lovely staff who were very attentive. Our younger members loved being able to go in the play area and then come back to enjoy their food. We will definitely be coming back.

Awful service, was told 30 minutes wait time for food then it eventually came out one hour and thirty minutes later, veg was stone cold meat was a little warm but mostly cold, the pigs in blankets was definitely out of date and also heard another table saying the same thing about the pork. it was under staffed, serving way above their means and no professional customer service from the waiters only one lady from the bar staff who was doing everything think her name was samantha but not sure so well done to that lady for trying to sort everything out she definitely needs a pay rise.

Spent the weekend at Ilfracombe Holiday Park and the food was absolutely shocking!!! Not worth the money one little bit!!! And the staff were rude, definitely would not recommend this place.
