We came here twice, once for breakfast and once for drinks as we were camping nearby. The service and drinks were lovely, the only thing that needed a bit of attention was the eggs Benedict as it was a bit smothered in sauce and the bacon wasn't the best but overall was a nice place to try :)

Second time we have been here, first time at Easter. Great for a Sunday Roast. Large portions, dog friendly and good selection of local beer. Great service and friendly staff

Got there just before 11:30 with a couple of young kids for a quick sandwich. Was told there is no food till lunchtime, even though you can book a table at 11:30 online which is somewhat contradictory. I'm glad in the end because we found a great little cafe in Woolacombe, in fact, plenty of different choices down there in the bay.

I went in here couple weeks ago did not have food but the place looks great inside , food looks like it is cooked all fresh will go back again and try the food ,,had a pint of lager 15 % lemonade bottom & 15% top nice pint I enjoyed it.. service was friendly & welcoming keep up the good work only gave it 4 star because of did not have food, 2nd visit had food I must say it was very nice , change my star rating to 5...

On a short 5 day break to Ilfracombe we visited The Depot 3 times as we loved it so much. Amazing food, staff, atmosphere and loved the decor too

Can only say some of the best food we have had Pizzas spot on and huge for kids portion too Piri piri prawns were amazing Would give 6 stars if we could 😀

Tried to go here on our first evening, they were very busy..but we were greeted by a very rude young man and virtually insulted at the bar by the bar msidy because we said we'd just have a drink It looked like all the staff could have been school holiday stand ins, they looked out of their depth...shame

My daughter adores it here. We took her boyfriend too as an exam passing treat and he was blown away. I had pizza, my husband had a burger...they all had 12oz with extras like bacon, pulled pork, beef chilli, dirtied up fries....they were in heaven. This chips are delicious, l don't know what they do to them but they seem waffled, kinda scooped but perfectly crispy and fluffy inside. Lewis is a bubbly, friendly, darling, makes you feel really welcome. Staff are attentive and we were served by a lovely friendly young woman...nothing is too much trouble here. 10/10 Thanks guys

Pulled pork is amazing, food was quick and fresh

Stopped here on the way back from the beach for dinner, we got pizza and nachos to share. The pulled pork was yummy but other than that, the nachos were okay and pizza was okay too. Cool american theme

Managed to fit us in when really busy. Food was really really good and fantastically fast service. Couldn't praise them more. A very well oiled machine.

everything is spot on ....brilliant place

Food was good, our party of 9 which included 3 children were happy with their food. Service was a bit slow, but it was busy, recommend prebooking as based near a camp site. Easy to get to, small car park for size of pub.

The perfect place for a rainy day on holiday. Being dog friendly was brilliant! The food was amazing! Really big portion sizes and it arrived super quick! We'll be back!

Drove past and thought we’d try it as we were on holiday, So glad we did the food was lovely and so were the staff so friendly,the portion sizes were very generous,definitely if back in the area I’d go there again and most definitely recommend it ,

Their Pizzas are enormous! Good service with the staff to cope. Well spaced tables and really interesting decor.

The pizza’s are amazing and worth every penny. The spicy chicken and chorizo pizza is the best I’ve had in years. The burgers are average and the loaded fries are very disappointing. Not at all what you’d expect. More important is that it is incredibly overpriced. I ordered two portions of chips and it was £16!! No salt, no sauce, next to no seasoning even though I ordered Cajun fries. Very disappointing. We only ate there because we were staying at the park and it’s in the middle of nowhere.

Nice food but incredibly slow service. Waited for 20 mins just for our drinks and then the order was wrong. Asked for the bill and another 20 min wait.

Good food, bad, slow service, some servers were polite, some were very ignorant, customer services were bad, very long waiting time, clean ish place, overall not bad, one server was too busy chatting to friends for over 20 mins, one was very helpful, but didn't get her name, early 20,s brown ish shoulder length hair ? Amazing !!! Time and time again can’t fault it

We stopped here on our way back from a weekend away in North Devon, we saw it on the way up and my wife was keen to try it. It certainly stands out as a place you’ll want to try with its appearance fr the road. Someone has spent a few quid making this place look appealing. My wife ordered a pizza and I went for Tacos, although we split both so we could share. Personally I thought the food was ok-good, I’d go back again but not desperate to. My wife thought it was really good so… 🤷🏼‍♂️😂. Service was good, nice and polite people served us. The interior decor has a nice American theme going on, although the music grates a little after a while. Toilets clean and modern which is nice.

Lovely pub/restaurant to go to in the evening went here just for a drink as on holiday. But had the owner come up and swiped the glasses away as soon as we fished our drinks . Gosh! I know he likes it clean but to take them away as soon as we finshed we felt we couldn't stay just to have another and relax after a long drive .

So glad we managed to book a table, great food and all staff were welcoming. The fries were so good

Amazing food and very clean toilets

Can't cook a poached egg it would seem. Perhaps their timer was broken. Service good with a smile etc, no problem there. Smoked bacon or smoked bacon. Which not everybody likes on a breakfast. Nice place environment wise tho with plenty of space.

Only great if you want to east pizza. We've ordered beef madras curry meal (chefs special, approx £20 each) which was horrible - beef tasted like it was from the tin, rice was from microwavable packet, nan bread not hand made (from the packet), not tasty at all and ridiculously expensive. Topped up with a staff's hair!!! Garlic pizza as a a starter was tasty. Only recommend if you come in for eating pizza only.

We went with a large group of us and the food was fantastic. The fries are the best fries we’ve ever had, pizzas fantastic and the chicken burger was amazing. Our only criticism was the service was a bit non existent. We didn’t get offered any more drinks, check back or deserts and we had to go to the bar in the end to pay our bill because none came back to us. The food however was lovely and we would 100% come back for that alone. Would definitely recommend for the food its really lovely .

Fantastic service and the food was brilliant, Beautiful Sunday roast, Quick service and friendly staff, The only let down was no one came to offer us desserts or coffees after our meal but didn’t spoil our visit will definitely return, The shift manger was great couldn’t do enough for us A1

This is a dog friendly restaurant, the food is fantastic. The staff are friendly polite and go out of their way to make sure you are looked after.

I had the Nachos here 8 months ago and in all honesty I haven't stopped thinking about them since to the point where I made the boyfriend book a weekend in Devon just so we could get the Nachos again and boy, they didn't disappoint. I would drive 4 hours again and again for them. The staff are great and welcoming, prices are decent, the atmosphere is lovely. If you go, get the Nachos.

Stopped in by chance, not been for a long time. Initially disappointed by the limited menu choice but, turns out, it was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were funny, very good and chatty

Staying nearby for vacation and thought we'd go out for a meal. Really nice surprise when what I thought we passed was a basic pub chain turned out to be one of the best meals we'd had in months. Great food, great service, very dog friendly even with our assistance dog.

Stopped for a couple of beer's decided to have a snack I thought, I had the loaded chips and chilli beef, what a massive meal though it would be a small portion and very very nice well worth the money what I thought was a bit expensive for a small portion but seeing the foods and what others had I wouldn't worry about it you won't be disappointed well worth it money well spent, went again before coming home while on holiday 👍👍👍

Staff were great - welcoming and accommodating, the atmosphere was lovely as well. Food was good, not great. My wife LOVED hers (nachos) mine was average (pizza). Handy for a stop but wouldn't go out of my way.

Dog friendly, managed to squeeze us in last min party of 3 (4 including the dog). We had the special, Asian ribs and half roast chicken, lovely food and staff.

This is an updated review after a repeat visit. Music is still too loud to the extent the waitress asked if we would like to turn it down as she completely misheard my drink order. Loaded fries were cold and overpriced. Salad was mainly the barbed spiked salad, no leaves and I left most of it. My other half said the pizza was ok but not as good as last time we came. We wouldn't visit again unfortunately.

Staff very kindly found us space for 7 people despite being very busy. Food was excellent with lots of options. Nice atmosphere!

Been here a few times over the years, ordered full tilt and coffee, stated locally sourced produce but I have definitely had a lot better, £12 for a breakfast with only one sausage is very expensive when you have Wetherspoons up the road offering much better value for similar, came out cold and bacon and sausage tasted cheap, coffee was superb and good value though, maybe priced higher to pay for refurbishment which is nice, toilets were spotless

Loved this little stop off before our journey back home.! We both enjoyed their FULL TILT breakfast with a white coffee and a latte. Their coffee is amazing! Their barista is also pretty awesome. Toilets were clean. Whole place was clean and very well maintained. The decor ... awesome. The ambiance again, lush. Recommend!

On our way for Easter break in Woolacombe stopped to have breakfast here on the way, Not a negative to be found here great staff an food even better for a breakfast best I have have for a long time will be going back on Monday! miss it miss out!

We finally came here after visiting Woolacombe over the last 4 years. Went on a Sunday and really recommend booking in advance as roasts sell out quickly! The food was amazing, fresh, lovely local produce and presented wonderfully. Staff from arrival to departing were helpful, proactive but not overbearing. Quality of the food was excellent, we had a mix of roast dinners and the 12oz beef burger. Both of which were brilliant. Car parking can be an issue, so where possible I'd go in one car or car share to reduce the number of spaces needed. If you visit when the adjoining businesses are closed then you can park on their sections - but you can't when they are open. We'll be back again next year. And we've already recommended to our friends who are coming down in May! Thanks for a lovely experience.

Customer service is fantastic. Lovely friendly people, great food, relaxed atmosphere. Worth a drive out if you are not in the area. Chicken wings were wicked.

Food expensive and alcohol very expensive. Food decent enough but probably won't return in a hurry.

First time eating here and we'll definitely be back more often. Ideal after a long walk on the beach. The food was delicious, the staff were so lovely and being able to bring the dog in with us was an added bonus. If you're gluten free I'd definitely recommend the gluten pizza!

Wonderful food, lovely big portions, amazing service, the waiter made us feel really welcome and even offered to box up our leftovers for us. Super accomodating of my allergy with great knowledge of the menu 10/10 would come again

Superb quality food. The steaks and burgers were excellently prepared and tasty.

We were on holiday out of season in January and came across this following a google search. Fantastic welcome when we arrived, prompt service and very friendly. Food was amazing really fresh and homemade there and then, so tasty and very generous portions. We were so impressed we went again and experienced the same high level of service and food. Simply stunning, will be coming back next time we are in Devon. Parking was great as was the access.

Great place to eat and relax, staff are lovely, good food with plenty of veggie options, bathroom immaculate (so important!) very cosy by the fire, plenty of free parking.

We had a small breakfast there which wasn't very good value for money,tiny portions.Had much better breakfast s elsewhere for less money.Not impressed

12oz burger with bacon and cheese was delicious and a challenge to finish great fries too! Wife had the Sunday roast beef which was perfect and accompanied with really nice roast potatoes Yorkshire and veg including a large bowl of cream and cheese leeks. Friendly service and excellent quality food .
