I want to highly recommend this Restaurant, as I came for holidays and I found this restaurant ,if you are from Punjab or any part from India and need proper authentic Indian Food this is the place Especially naans and service is too good I will defo visit again

Greeted warmly as soon as we walked in , service was great, food was great and authentic as they claimed!

A real staple of the North Devon Indian cuisine market. Welcomed with a smile and swiftly taken to our seat we quickly had our minds made up and were ready to order. We made our orders and soaked up the vibrant atmosphere. Service was great — the staff were friendly and cheerful and for a large party of 8 the wait for our food was fair. When the food arrived it was fresh, hot and delicious — everyone enjoyed it, came in with a smile on our face and left with a full belly. Great experience would 100% recommend.

Food was ok but the delivery was shocking I ordered it in advance early afternoon and still to be late by half a hour I did phone and hot hung up on . So not impressed

Great staff, Bland food I'm afraid

Visited on a Saturday night about 8pm and there was nobody dining in. Strange. Went for a safe chicken tikka masala and a korma. Rest of menu was a bit spicy for my taste. Food was excellent and plenty of it. I'd go again if there were more less spicy choice

Yet again another fantastic meal. Lamb rogan Josh so tasty and mouth watering. Family enjoyed themselves.

Absolute garbage Tandoori King Prawns, the most expensive item on the menu! £17 for King Prawns that you get in Tesco, not an Indian restaurant. Never even seen any spice mix, let alone 'marinated in yoghurt and spices etc etc' and certainly not cooked in a Tandoor! Served up on a bed of cabbage, that stank of cabbage. Absolutely awful. Whatever you do, don't order this dish, just take a look at the photo. SHOCKING!

Won't be returning Poppadoms from a packet. Really overcooked chicken. Severe lack of flavour in the curry, I've had better from a jar, although they did spice things up with the naan - that had a hair on it I don't recall ordering. This was replaced when I told the member of staff (the naan not the hair) We went on a weeknight and there was only one other customer so didn't expect much of an atmosphere but not even any music is a strange choice. Didn't find it overly enjoyable just eating our meal in silence. Place overall felt dirty also. Prices were fair and service was fine but I won't be back

The Food Was Amazing, Great Size Portions, All Tasted Fresh. Food Arrived Hot & On Time. Four Stars For Quality As We Didn’t Receive The Mango Chutney We Ordered.

Lovely restaurant to eat in as well as good delivery service. Each meal uses authentic spices and tastes wonderful. The lamb I had tonight melted in my mouth.

What can I say, except wow. New owner with 5 star chefs. I'm very fussy about my tika masala, but the sauce is exceptional, as well as the tandoori starter for two. Absolutely divine. Thank you, Josh, and all the wonderful staff you have. Thoroughly recommend this Restaurant.

We ordered paneer tikka and chicken kadai with veg rice and butter naan. Tasty food and friendly staff especially Louis. Car parking available on site.

We got a takeaway, I had the butter chicken, which was really nice, but spicier than the one I am used to from our regular place in London, but it was nice, I'll check out the Korma next time! Peshwari nan was lovely, not had cherries before, but it was amazing, the other half loved his curry. We didn't have long to wait and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back, but will eat in next time. I do find the name a bit odd though 🤔

Found this location after looking for nearby restaurants during a family trip. Parking spot outside the venue was available as we booked early but there isn't many spaces. There is a paid car park across the road however. As we went early, it wasn't busy but after our visit I can imagine it can get very busy. For food we started with a King Sizzler for two that we shared with kids. Great selection but didn't find there was much flavour on the Malai Tikka or the Paneer. Despite this the grill itself was ok and on a bed of cabbage which was unusual to any other grill I've been to but nice. For mains ordered a Lamb Tikka for the kids and a Prawns Chettinand along with Garlic Naan. Both dishes were nice with a unique flavouring. The prawns dish especially was nice and spicy. Dropped a star on the atmosphere as we weren't there whilst it was busy so couldn't give a full 5, but with the background music and service from the staff no complaints here 👌🏽

The Best Indian restaurant in Town. Couple of weeks ago I ordered a delivery from Salt and Pepper and the food was amazing, more over all the foods were piping hot by the time of delivery. By our first experience, me and my family decided to have a dine-in at Salt and pepper. We had a great experience through out meal time. Excellent service, and the food, absolutely great… mouthwatering.. Surety recommended.. 10/10

Every time we go here it's been spot on. We've sat in and done takeaway. The food is great and the staff always have a smile on. It's becoming my go-to if we're not sure what to have as our family night out.

HAD A MEAL HERE WHICH WAS VERY NICE BUT EVEN THE WAITER WAS A BIT CONFUSED TO WHICH CURRY WAS WHAT WHEN BRINGING IT OUT, NOT SURE WHAT I HAD BUT IT WAS NICE, BROUGHT THE BILL OVER BEFORE CLEARING THE TABLE OR ASKING US IF WE WANTED DESSERTS OR COFFEES AND RESTAURANT A LITTLE COLD, I WILL RETURN AS I STATED NICE FOOD AND REASONABLY PRICED

Amazing food. As an Indian who is struggling to find authentic Indian food in this country, finally found a place which can be compared to real Indian food. Great garlic naan, and Madras chicken. Will visit again definitely.

I have had a curry from here in the past which was lovely. But my recent order was 25 minutes later than the latest delivery time given, so I had to enquire twice to ask where it was and was given free poppadoms to say sorry. I ordered a chicken korma with chicken fried rice with a garlic naan, but something in it was spicy and the naan was burnt & too hard to eat.

Food arrived on time and was hot. Onion bajjis were lovely. The curries were not what I would call proper curries. The chicken tikka tasted like a curry sauce from the chippy and the masala was a bit like a weatherspoons curry I’m only saying this as think quite a lot of people like that safer style of curry. We much prefer a curry with a more genuine Indian taste. It wasn’t bad at all and we ate it but not what we would usually go for.

Prawn 65! 3 prawns? Chilli chicken dry and salty. Tikka massala chicken dry not much chicken. Lamb kadai disappointing. Not much lamb but dry and like it was made yesterday. Overall disappointing and a waste of money 💰

Chicken korma was the colour of dark puss and didn’t taste like any korma I have ever tasted. No creamy yellow coconut current. Over powering flavour of Cardamom. Had to throw it away. Mint sauce was bright green like green food colour had been put in it. Really not so cheap poor quality food. Never again.

The food was a good price, 4 courses for £13.99 on a Wednesday... It was all ok, not great. The service was OK, not great.... The atmosphere a bit lacking.

Myself and my partner came to eat last night, we had 2 curry’s (chicken korma and a chicken madras) both really tasty! Naan bread was good too not too thick or doughy! I recommend the starters, (chilli chicken and chilli beef) could have had that as a main, was really tasty! The customer service was brilliant, (our waiter was really sweet and welcoming. didn’t catch his name, he had braces and maybe in his early 20’s.. lovely boy!). Really liked the seating arrangements and the colours. I also loved how joshy (the manager/owner) came and spoke to us to make sure we were ok and we had a nice chat.

Stopping in the area so decided to get a takeaway curry and was not disappointed with are choice. Food superb the wife even said it was the best curry she had eaten for a long time. We had onion bhaji starters x2 veg jalfrezi chicken tikka main meal pilau rice 4 poppadoms garlic nan and various pickles. The food was top quality and very tasty. The staff where friendly and sorted are order out with no issues. We will be back to try the food sitting down next time

Went in as a family with children.. Food was AMAZING!!! We are Pakistani heritage, and always find it hard to find a decent Indian restaurant in an area with less Asian population. We were actually blown away by the taste! Excellent service, lovely Restaurant! The Chai was delicious too! Definitely recommend it!!

We order here all the time, but what happened tonight? 😕 korma had barely any chicken in it just sauce, chips undercooked and ordered cheese naan and got plain naan!.... such a shame won't leave bad stars as before has been amazing. Just feel disappointed tonight.

We came to this restaurant after travelling around in Devon and stopped at this restaurant as they had confirmed it was halal. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service was very efficient.

Probably my worst Indian I've tasted. Chicken korma was not what I expected. Paswari was very dry and not bready/narni. My son had Chicken nuggets and chips which the chips were chewy, and the 5 chicken nuggets were over cooked. The chicken samosa was over cooked as well. I think the pappa doms were the best thing, Oh the mushroom rice was OK. Won't order from here again.

A hidden gem and perhaps the best Indian I’ve ever had! We came in for a takeaway, and ordered some drinks from the friendly waiter while we waited the 20 minutes it took for our food to be ready. The restaurant has lovely ambiance so it was a pleasant wait on the sofas. When the food was brought out we were given a couple of dips as a free extra (mango chutney and mint yoghurt). Everything we ordered tasted fresh, homemade, and had the perfect herbs and toppings to compliment the flavours. Would really recommend and a place like this deserves to be bustling with customers, thank you for a very enjoyable meal!

We were a party of 9 business men and women. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were more of a hindrance than customers. The place was empty and the service was dreadful. On the plus side most thought the food was good. Someone needs to tell the staff/owner that they need customers to stay in business so it might be a good idea to welcome them

Only a really minor gripe but they allowed themselves a 25 minute window for delivering but was 5 minutes later than that. Food was great tho and no other issue at all
