The best restaurants in Westgate Gloucester South West

Booked a room for 3 people, when checking in we were asked if any of us had a driving licence to confirm who we were when we said we didn’t we were informed that unless we could provide proof we would be unable to stay, luckily I found I had my senior citizen bus pass with my photo and name on which they said they could accept. When getting to our room we immediately noticed the paint and plaster coming off the wall, the old windows were ill fitting so could hear rain and wind was as if we were outside, it was very cold. It wasn’t until we got back to room in night and went to bed that we found the base of the one bed was broken in the middle the mattress had to be put on the floor for my friend to try to sleep. Shower pressure was bad also toilet wouldn’t flush. We reported the issues on returning the key in the morning was just told it would be reported

Forgot the garlic bread food was cold but tasted ok

It says on uber eats it's open 24hr so I made an order around 2 50 am because I work nights and the order was with 22 quid it said they were delivering it but I never received the food or anything and they just claimed my money without me being able to do anything.

Best takeaway we had for a while

I have been in lots of McDonald's but this is the worst one so far, food is just made so messy, cheeseburger just usually getting absolutely smashed or the meat in it is overcooked, staff just grabbing fries with naked hands. Tables are uncleaned and very oily. In general the atmosphere is really bad in there

Ordered online and shop cancelled my order. Kept showing driver was on its way and changing arrival time. Then recieve a text telling me my order had been cancelled. When ordering before I've had to call to be told my order is with me them when I argue this they then tell me it's still in the shop

1 star is too much Absolutely shocking order completely wrong staff put meals through instead of burgers on there own told um when was boxing up didn't want chips was told tough , beef burger was ordered only cheese and ketchup got home it was smothered in mayonnaise salad and no cheese couldn't of got it more wrong to be honest .... lost 4 customers ... for good

The food was really poor. Greasy, lacked flavour and the slices were all uneven. We were eating at the hospital and it was under whelming.

Place is a joke I ordered beans to go on my chips and the beam pot was full of juice and hardly any beans. I counted a total of 32 beans

Lovely warm service provided by the ladies working today

I order the lunch meal before 3 pm and they lie to me that the lunch meal is till 2:30 . They are misleading very poor customer service over the phone . I can’t say about the food but they lie to me over the phone .

Standard noise costa coffee shop clean the drinks are what you expect from this chain. Really need booths so you can relax and chat with friends without the noise of others busy at time I visited.

Clean maccies , is good but busy. Ideal for before/after the rugby. Tescos and petrol nearby. Often forget sauce!

Friendly staff and quick service. The food was hot and very enjoyable definitely will return
