Peri Peri's Chicken in Gloucester

Ordered online and shop cancelled my order. Kept showing driver was on its way and changing arrival time. Then recieve a text telling me my order had been cancelled. When ordering before I've had to call to be told my order is with me them when I argue this they then tell me it's still in the shop

Why are you saying online via Google? Order is placed you accepts order then 20 mins or more cancel the order? Calling the telephone and no one answering? If your not accepting orders stay offline so people won't bother making an order.

If ordering from here have your oven on ready to heat the food up, sort of defeats the object of ordering in when you need to put it in the oven still and thats on a Wednesday

Half the order was missing , phoned up and they just we will reamber for next order but they won't. Won't come again !

Very poor service tonight. First time ordering and never again. Hour and a half late, kept telling me 10 minutes on the phone god knows how many times. Food cold when got here. Straight in the bin.

Awful! Always messing up and then when u ring they are either rude, dishonest or they just cut the phone call off. They really need to get someone in there that knows customer service or even just some manners! cause no one in there has any.

Shop worker smoking in the disgusting toilet where there's no taps working, so what do they wash their hands with after using it and cooking with raw chicken, he burnt the toilet down yesterday and the fire brigade said if the vat of used chip fat had of caught fire the entire building and surrounded Southgate premises would have been destryed, they're closing them down, they nearly killed a lot of people 🤬🤬🤬pics and videos to follow

Wrong food arrived. Apparently they had run out of what we ordered so just sent whatever! Called to sort (twice) and were told replacement on way - still waiting hours later. Very disappointed

Ordered a pita online. No updates via the portal on the order being prepared. After 20 minutes I went directly to the shop and had to then wait another 20 minutes for my order. No apology or even acknowledgement just indifference. The hygiene in the kitchen is absolutely shocking I could see the floors, preparation service and sides and backs of the grills where they cook and they were disgusting. My pita went in the bin after seeing their hygiene standards front of house and the kitchen. It was sloppily prepared and unappealing with wilted lettuce, half a piece of chicken and no sauce. Avoid this place they don't deserve your business.

Dont know how to answer the phone

Lied about delivering food. Rang multiple times and said they it was delivered. Obviously got the wrong address and won’t admit fault. Awful

Put a order in and never arrived rang up but no answer DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!

Good food but need to speed up their customer sevice

Awful experience yesterday evening after ordering direct off their website using package deals, like chicken + side. Added extra dips to make up the minimum spend, no problem. BUT the order arrived without those dips, nor the side of fiery rice. To make matters worse, after I made the effort to phone up and resolve the issue with a refund, the owner refused. Told me he'd definitely remembered packing the rice. Implication: I was a liar! Wow, that got me mad. Then they insisted on delivering the rice and missing dips, instead of my refund (which would have saved their fuel and allowed us to eat while the food was still hot). We ate the full meal, yes and it tasted good. All sent very quickly after my altercation on the phone. BUT was left in a state of agitation, and felt mistreated and helpless at the mercy of the owner's whims. Sat down to a stone cold dinner. Will never use again.

I ordered 12/06/20 a peri peri wrap meal and a children’s chicken fillet burger meal and Cheesy garlic bread I was told it would be 30 mins. It took an hour and 15 mins to come it was all cold, the chicken burger was missing and the garlic bread was burnt and soggy! I phoned up about 10 times about the burger they Were very rude either put the phone down or told me that someone was bring the burger. I waited hours and never received it. I phoned the next day to be told the manager would ring me back but they never did! Don’t order from here!!

ive been using peri peri on and off for a year, recently they have dropped the service ball. our last order was so spicy it was inedible (especially for my son). we had ordered without spice. when we called, they just put the phone down on me and didnt answer again, i gave up after half an hour of calling. today they left stuff out the order, promised to redeliver and nothing has arrived. sad as their food is usually good

Ordered 3 lemon herb meals for children and they give me extra hot chicken. Then promise a refund and nothing. Others also composing about missing food whilst I was there. Rude and unprofessional

Took 90 minutes, 1 of 3 orders wrong, chips were not fresh even tho I distinctively asked to make sure it's fresh. 3rd time you messed up my order so will not recommend.

The chicken is often tasty but on occasions it is not as tasty. In fact it can be dry. As with most of these fast food establishments their goal is more profit orientated than customer service. Nonetheless it is usually value for money.

I ordered a pitta meal for delivery. When I was tucking in, I found a staple in the pitta. I had nearly bitten into it and could have been seriously hurt. So I called the restaurant to let them know. When I offered a replacement he said " a replacement would take a very long time", so I asked for my money back and was told "I don't know about a refund, I'll call you back". I received no call back, and no refund. Appalling service and appalling hygiene. Very unsafe.

Food nice don't get me wrong, I worked in take away and if costumer requested something we used to make it the way they wanted it and when I said " can u make it less spicy " I expected less spicy not legit 5 table spoons on chilli sauce 🤣🤙

Such a shame as food is amazing when it finally arrives, just wish the order was correct. we have used them twice and on both occasions incorrect order sent and waiting 30/40 mins after specified time, gutted as what is finally delivered is lovley and couldn't fault, just wish all the order was there and delivered within a decent time, sorry guys you need to work on getting your orders correct and delivered in the time you stated or some where close as the food is really good

Love this place. Great Piri Piri chicken, homemade coleslaw. Premises could do with a tidy up to attract a wider audience.

Disgusting customer service rude employee Ahmed called me a liar! 1 hour 40 minutes for a Cold food! If I could give 0 stars I would! safe to say I’ll never order from these again. If you don’t want to be abused on the phone then I suggest you don’t either. All I wanted was an apology and the ignorant fool wouldn’t even give me that. Rude rude rude!

Have never had a bad experience with this place. Food is always cooked well and the half chicken is huge! Always have some left for lunch. Prices and great (jus under 7 for half chicken and 2 sides) and their peri mayo is that boom! Have nothing but good things to say- even deliver to me less than 100m down the road!
