They Always have quick service, good price and the food it's delicious we are regular customers, love it!

I'd give less than one star if I could. Ordered from here last night as it used to be pretty decent for a budget takeaway but will never use them again. The driver couldn't find our home but wouldn't listen to instructions when he called, my husband had to repeat himself over and over again which was very frustrating. The food had obviously been sitting around for quite a while before it arrived and all the starters were soggy and full of grease, the jumbo spring roll was battered instead of covered with filo pastry which was bizarre and disgusting. Mains were lukewarm and very low quality meat, found two separate bits of gristle in my "chicken breast" and was so put off I ate less than half of my meal- a blessing in disguise as it turns out- my husband has spent most of the night being very ill whereas I've gotten off lightly with stomach cramps and nausea. A total waste of money and an utter disappointment at what should have been a treat. Avoid this place at all costs.

Shocking service!!! Took 2 hours to arrive. Attempted to ring but phone constantly engaged. Driver turned up and was extremely rude saying we lived too far away! (1.9 miles) not happy

Got the order wrong, rang to get corrected, lady who answered said I was wrong then hung up.... to top it off food was cold! never again. DISGUSTING IN EVERY WAY

I and my partner have been buying here for over two years sadly the other day we had a Chinese and I think they must have changed hands as it was awful, the lady on the phone was not as polite which was the first bad sign, then when it came the food portions had significantly shrunk from the usual portions we get on the deal and the food was dry and horrible the only one dish that was ok was the chicken curry, even the spring rolls were not as nice as previously.

They got the order wrong and wasn't very good quality food. Would never order again.

The meat was a little dry - but the flavours of the meals were great.... Would order again to see if they were having an off night - I hope so.

Duck was burnt, no plumb sauce with it or more likely burn on to it. Rice very much over cooked and soggy. Very poor

Lovely hot meal delivered on time, only disappointment was that the chow mein was made with thin Singapore-like noodles instead the usual thicker noodles which I don't enjoy as much.

The beef in both dishes was tough, not the normal quality we get from Golden bowls.

sweet and sour Chicken was chewy crispy chily chicken was tough to eat, the squid was rubbery (over cooked) I wont order from them again, really disappointed given that they are one of the highest rated in town. for Chinese food.

The special fried rice was not actually fried, the rice was boiled, which was very disappointing. Despite notes saying curries or omelettes don't come with rice, it seems actually nothing does so I was left riceless for a main meal. The tofu is nice, however.

Generally, good, should have reviewed closer to the time i ordered as I have forgotten my exact feelings on this exact meal but I have ordered from here a number of times and have not been disappointed yet. :)

Probablemente el peor Chino que pedimos. Toma como se ha intentado hacer comida china el camino saludable. He pedido porque quiero ser insalubre! Todo estaba soso, arroz frito con pollo arroz hervido y probado como nada más, Crackers de gambas eran quemados. No me impresionó en general. Por el precio que pides en otro lugar. Ahorra dinero y papilas gustativas!

Probably the worst Chinese we have ordered from. It takes like they have tried to do Chinese food the healthy way. I order out because I want to be unhealthy! Everything was bland, chicken fried rice tasted like boiled rice and nothing else, Prawn crackers were burnt. Not impressed overall

Ordered from here a few times but this is our last, chow mein was at least a day old mushy and salty, beef was too hard to chew, not going back again

Rather disappointed in my last 2 orders from golden bowls. Have found the meat to be dry and the dishes not as saucy as they used to be.

Delivery was 1 hour over the time they sed. Food was ok at least it was still warm.

Absolutely discussed with the service of this average takeaway. Took them nearly 2 hours to deliver the food and when I rang the woman just kept saying the driver had left goodbye. Very unhappy

The order took 2 hours to be delivered with no apology to the delay and when it finally arrived the rice wasn't cooked properly. I was refused a refund.

Meal was generally good but Salt & Pepper Squid was much too salty. Experience was spoilt by delivery being 25 minutes late, called the restaurant, got a rude response and received no apology. Order status said complete 15 minutes before the delivery

Chicken was dry and hard and the rice was bitty. Delivery was 30 mins late. Always use this one but think I might be changing after tonight's experience!!

Awful meal hse special noodles (where were the noodles???!!!) Meat was all gristle so much garlic could not taste anything else chicken toast and wantons overcooked and solid. Won't be ordering again used to be lovely rapidly going downhill

About the 30th takeaway we've had from Golden Bowls. 1st time I've left a review. Consistency is what I rate a takeaway on. Always delicious and timely with delivery. We've found a gem with this place and providing standards continue as they have we will use them for another 30+. Never had a better Chinese! Thank you !!

Took over 2 hours to deliver the food, wasn't hot once we eventually got it, and delivery driver didn't follow delivery instructions and woke up my 2 nephews by ringing the buzzer instead of the phone number we left. Not normal standards from here! Disappointed

Still waiting to receive my food! 90 minute wait... Seems their phone has been taken off the hook! Not the first time this has happened and certainly won't be coming back!
