The quality was really poor, the meat was tough, I asked for mixed sweet and sour balls, they were pork and chicken only, the side order of chips were cooked hours before, allowed to go cold and then fried again... Tasted horrible.

We don’t mind waiting, it’s a Bank holiday. However it was in ‘almost here’ status for 15 minutes and arrived cold. Had to microwave it all. The beef curry was so tough it was inedible. Mixed starter rock hard, chicken balls had hardly any chicken.

I've ordered from here a few times, Each time the food has arrived surprisingly quickly, It's been hot and tasty. I'm honestly surprised that the overall reviews are so low considering my experience with this place.

Had a few takeaways from here over the past couples of months, each one has been very tasty and fresh and also was delivered in good time.

Food was lukewarm and the beef was so tough couldn’t chew it

The whole order was wrong, thought it was just missing stuff no vegetable for me

All the food was cold, chips have okay flavour but very soggy, chicken balls are decent but cold and the satay chicken scewers are inedible, wont be coming back

Vile attitude on the phone when trying to explain after re ordering a same order full of allergy that could make a person very ill a English woman sternly got the phone off a foreign man and went for it absolutely needs re training on public handling skills

Mine and my sisters Chinese was cold and well over half hour late last week, and because she left a bad review the staff has got shitty and refused to deliver to her address again. She's been treated wrong. Disgusting

I am absolutely disgusted with how I have been treated. Last weekend I ordered a Chinese through just eat as I didn't have the cash on me. After waiting ages for my delivery I had a message on just eat saying it had been delivered. Of course this wasn't the case. I then reported to just eat that I hadn't received my order. 35 mins after it finally turned up cold. I rang up to complain, which I was well within my rights to do, especially as my Chinese was nearly £40. I had an apology. So I decided to leave it there. But I got back to just eat after this to tell them the food turned up after but was cold and I wasn't happy. Not once did anyone ring me to ask for directions to my property which is what usually happens. Well today I went to place an order paying with cash, to be verbally abused by the lady on the phone because of the review I left last week, to then have her refuse my order. It's absolutely disgusting how they can't take accountability for their poor service. Reviews are a learning curve, take it and move on. How can you improve your business if you can't take the criticism. I order from here on a regular basis, but I'm absolutely disgusted about how I have been treated. This is the only time I have ever had anything bad to say, this Chinese is the best by far in Gloucester, but after being verbally abused, sadly I will have to find somewhere else to go!

the food was bland and saturated in oil. the meat was dried out and chewy. when paying nearly £40 for a meal..you expect something tasty.

First time ordering from here. Food was all hot and tasted great. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the special chow mein as the noodles didn’t have much flavour tbh and there wasn’t a lot of meat or prawns in it either. The Cantonese style sweet and sour pork on the other hand was perfect lots of meat and not too many veg bits like other places. Will definitely order from again as the prices are great value 👍🏻

As always our food was delivered quickly. The food was great and free mini spring rolls were good. We always use this Chinese takeaway, great service and great food.

Delivery instructions crystal clear. Lived here for 17 years. Disgraceful that first driver allegedly couldn’t find the house so a second driver was sent out with the order.

I don’t understand the poor reviews of this place, have been ordering here my whole life with no issues whatsoever. great family business wouldn’t even consider going elsewhere. Also their set menus are a great value for money, 5 dishes for £22 👏👏

Always tasty and good size portions

Picked this restaurant due to high reviews. Ordered four mains and some sides and everything arrived cold apart from one dish that was hot. Suggests it wasn’t a delivery delay but other dishes all waited for the last (warm) one to be cooked. Prawn crackers were stale. Crispy chilli beef was nice but stone cold.

Terrible service, we ordered on just eat from this restaurant new years eve, we expected it to be busy but 2 hours in and we decided to call for an update. Collectively we called around 25 times the line was busy majority of the time but the 4 times it did ring the phone was never answered. We were given an updated time from just eat 2 and a half hours after we placed the order. The food still did not arrive after another 20 minutes of waiting we ordered from elsewhere and requested a refund as this place was not answering the calls. £70 worth of food and they refused the refund because "the restaurant was busier than usual". If a takeaway can't handle the capacity turn off deliveries. The food eventually turned up 3 hours after ordering. We sent the food back as we already had food from another place and they still refused to refund. Clearly in breach of consumer rights act.

Usually go more locally to us but tried Wing Hing for first time a few months ago and is now the go to for our Chinese takeaway! Delicious food, arrives Hot and good portions gor price. Huge menu with so much to choose from! Amazing

we didn't eat it. worst £45 spent in a long time. crispy beef was charcoal with chilli. curries we literal yellow oil. shame as we had high hopes. Will not order again.

Food didn’t arrive even though it said delivered then unable to contact restaurant as constantly engaged. If the restaurant can’t cope with the volume of orders don’t take my money and if delivery driver was at wrong house (which they always are) why didn’t they call??? Appauling by both restaurant and just eat

The app was telling me it was delivered but there was no sign of it. I tried ringing multiple times and the call wasn’t answered. When the guy did turn up I asked him if he wanted the code and he said no so he could have delivered to anyone.

The noodles were over cooked nearly burnt and no bean sprouts which they did inform me, definitely not the best I’ve had from there

The chicken chow main was extremely salty . The chop seuy was bland and the chicken was chewy. The egg fried rice was fine but the chicken balls were very greasy . We have ordered from this place before and haven’t really had an issue’s,but tonight was appalling. Unfortunately we won’t be ordering again from here.

Got my order drastically wrong and somehow it was my fault for not making it clear, which I did Then when I asked for refund or exchange they expected me to pay for the delivery or do it myself. And then she Abruptly hung up on me Customer service was awful and did not care Don't waste your money go to Emperor

Mini spring rolls and chicken balls were fine. Some of the chicken in the chicken satay was undercooked, still a bit pink. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was so sweet, tasted like warm lumpy custard.. Chicken with ginger and spring onion had slight sweet taste and nothing else, noodles weren't the worst bit not good.

when my wife and me moved house i was annoyed to leave this delightful restaurant as the wait time for your food is little to nothing and the food is so worth it even for its reasonable and affordable price as it's a wondrous place to eat at - i shall miss the delicious food 🍲

Always amazing from here. The only Chinese we use

We have been ordering from this Chinese for years and have always had a lovely meal. This evening after spending over £40, the food was awful. Soggy, tasteless and so greasy. The satay chicken was undercooked (literal pink inside!) and could only stomach a few mouthfuls. A shame we definitely won’t be ordering again!

I never received my order! They had delivered to wrong address! Should’ve contacted me! And they are meant to ask for codes! I have waited an hour and a half for my order not to arrive! I am fuming! I would like a full refund!

Best Chinese in Gloucester, chips are the only item which need improvement otherwise superb food

unfortunately the food was too greasy and bland, the salt and pepper chicken has no spicy to it. This was not worth the money!

Chicken was very tough, not there usual standard.
