Missing sweet and sour sauce and was told she will send in 15/20 minutes - no apologies. I asked her just to collect my meal and refund me! Very poor service start to finish.

Ordered food tonight which arrived without the sweet and sour sauces that come as part of the dish. When I call they tell me I have to request them, even though they are listed as part of the dish. She then offers to deliver them in 15/20 minutes by which time my food will be cold. No apology, no manners and definitely no future business from me. How hard can it be to check an order before sending it out? …… rubbish service and customer relations!!!!

Went to wrong adress twice and called me telling me I gave them the wrong adress the reciept had the right adress and I told them on the phone and they still got it wrong

The chow mein was a bit overcooked, but other than that it was delicious.

Food is always excellent, and staff are friendly and helpful. We’ve ordered from here for years and it’s the nicest and most consistent around.

Combo platter no sweet & sour sauce & meal cold

Chicken had no flavour, was not seasoned and wasn't cooked with the chow mein, just placed on top. Disappointing. Chicken balls were good though

From the notification that delivery was on its way it took 50 mins to get to me. I actually live less than a mile from the shop , about 8 minutes walk Think driver had multiple deliveries and delivered mine on the way back

Ordered a Mushroom Curry (vegetarian) and received a Beef Curry! Prawn Crackers stale and chewy, not a good experience, could only eat the egg fried rice 👎🏻

Don't read the bad reviews..best Chinese in gloucester in my opinion..lady who serves me all the time always has a smile on her face..the food is excellent quality and great portion size...been coming here for years and won't change ..ifvyou do have an issue tell them..they will always sort it bestvtgey can

The sour soup was lovely. Everything else was poor. Prawn toast was thin. Prawn crackers certainly not very. Noddles were sticky and inedible. Rice was a little dry. Crispy chilli beef was not very crispy. The chilli garlic chicken was tasteless

Chips dry and over cooked curry didn’t seem fresh even for that day prawn crackers where stale

A very poor portion of Chips. 3/4 of which were scrags ends and uneatable. All the rest was tasty.

It was okay, only enjoyed the prawn crackers and the rice 😔 chips weren't fresh, prawn toast wasn't very nice, could be a lot better. Unfortunately won't be going back 😕

Today was my second visit here. The first time I had a beef curry which was very nice. This time I had sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. Absolutely delicious and so much of it. Eight chicken balls, delicious rice and wonderful sweet and sour sauce, all for under a tenner. I highly recommend this takeaway.

Brilliant as usual, with the exception of the quarter crispy aromatic dock which was mainly fat. The crispy prawns were so good they almost made up for it but we were looking forward to the duck so it was a bit disappointing, on this occasion.

Food arrived cold and was poor quality. It genuinely all tasted and had the texture of being reheated in the microwave. Some of the chips were cold, some were hot. The crispy chilli beef wasn't crispy, it was soggy and extremely chewy. Chicken balls were stone cold. Overall, really bad.

Very disappointing not even what we ordered!

Usually great, but noticed on the app update food was with the driver a very long time. Spring rolls cold and soggy. Soup still warm at least.

I chose this Chinese for its reviews and unfortunately the only thing that I will say that was positive was the food was hot. The chicken was slimey, the beef was chewy and had a strong odour.

Ordered at 7:15 didn't come until 9:20.

The food was unbelievably disgusting. The chips taste like they were cooked last week and the chicken balls were soggy and I could not even eat them. The 1dish items came in sweaty polystyrene boxes and the order took hours to arrive. We were good customers but we won’t be buying here now.

Good quality food (prawn chow mein and fried rice) but portion of bean sprouts definitely a bit steep at £5.00 (50p in supermarket!)

The spring rolls and chicken balls were nice and the satay skewers meat was good but the satay sauce was gloopy and jelly like. The chow mein seemed greasy.

The food was abysmal and the chow mein was slimey with some boiled chicken just put on top, delivery was good but until the food quality improves I will not be ordering from here again.

The food here is horrible. We ordered rice and noodles from here and the meat in both dishes were spoiled. Please spare yourself the trouble and order from elsewhere.

We found this place via Google Maps as we were looking for a Chinese takeaway for dinner. We were welcomed by a Chinese uncle who was all smiles and a young Chinese man that took our orders. The fried rice and chop suey was not bad. Cantonese Sweet and sour was a bit too sweet for our liking. To our surprise we had a big packet of crackers too! Total was about £15+. Would have gone back if they didn't close on Weds.

The service was good. I ordered crispy duck pancakes, there was no hoisin sauce & the shredded duck had bone & gristle present which really put me off. The chips were dry & hard & barbecue sauce which I also ordered had a layer of oil on the surface, it did not taste anything like it used to from there. I ended up throwing more than half of the meal out. I was annoyed & very disappointed!!!

Best Chinese in Gloucester, have tried many Chinese, in the Gloucester area and this place hands down was amazing every dish was a solid 10/10

Really tasty food, piping hot and delivered on time

Amazing food as it was last time. The mixed hot platter starter was delicious and you could actually see the black beans in the chicken and black bean sauce which I've never seen before! Tasted really good. Slight downside this time was a much earlier delivery time than expected which was fine but it meant our daughter hadn't gone to bed and so she ate lots of the chow mein!

I had to finish work early on a busy Saturday night working in a pub because my order turned up 45 minutes early when I was due to finish 15 minutes before it turned up, which would have given me plenty of time to be home in time

Food arrived earlier than estimated which was absolutely fine as it was gone 10pm when we ordered and we were hungry. We only had the mixed starter for 2 and a special chow mein and it arrived really hot and starters crispy, perfect. Will definitely use again.
