Standard maccies food, excellent staff

Still class this as the best McDonalds in Gloucester The food is hot and normally quick service. Eat the burger first as the salad is fresh from the fridge and will go cold quick not an issue just a tip for you all :)

Always the same with McDonald's other than the odd mess up of orders it's always on point with the food as u expect

It'd McDonald's, they are all the same. Standard McDonald's food, standardised pricing, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Short wait time. We used the drive through and was directed to park in one of the waiting bays while our food was prepared and cooked, meaning the queue behind us could keep moving which I think is a very clever idea.

Efficient but clearly a places for the boy racers to refuel.

Had a takeaway to share - chicken nougats etc. Nougats were two less than ordered - normally wouldnt have noticed but couldnt share evenly. Disappointed.

Visited last Saturday the gentleman who looks after the tables etc always friendly and helpful such rare qualities in this day and age a credit to your company

One of the best Maccys, food always right, and fresh and tasty. There is a woman who brings the food out to the people in the cars, she has the biggest smile and her personality is the best, always a joy to see her, makes your day brighter with her around, thank you

Waited 17 minutes in grill order bay one for 4 apple pies and 3 McFlurrys. Rude employee came out, he placed his trays on my friend’s cars roof and tried questioning us regarding the contents of our order, initially refusing to hand over our order. Unbelievable behaviour, (he was Asian). Ice creams were liquid. Obviously sat round whilst waiting for pies to cook. Shocking. It can’t be hard working at McDonald’s as you don’t need to have passed your GCSEs to get a job there so why do you behave like toddlers with learning disabilities? Never again.

Advertises 24/7 so drove there but was closed at just gone 11pm.

Half the time they forget sauces and give you half cooked fries. Also make you wait in a bay because they are always under staffed

Classic McDonald's, clean, prompt service,same food, coffee standard, just like McDonald's should be, not gourmet, not bottom line, middle of the road satisfaction.

Whilst the wait even during a busy time for the click and serve was very little, our order was both missing an item and partly incorrect. The staff were helpful and quick to rectify the issue, but as this was click and collect we had already driven off before realising the problem - a lesson learnt to check before leaving next time.

Take out, prompt service, must have been a good time to call

Ordered on just eat and no driver came to collect the order, instead of the store ringing me to let me know, they left me waiting over 3 hours before I finally had to ring them myself to find out what was happening. They then suggested I come to collect the order myself or request a refund on the app. Honestly disgraceful service as I have been left with no food and no money refunded as I now have to wait for the just eat process.

It's a shame that TGIs is not what it used to be. It used to be groovy, exciting and funky, but is now quite drab, and it still changes premium prices. I asked my wife to marry me in a TGIs 25+ years ago, when, in my opinion, it was at its peak.

I've been boycotting this company for about 40 years since finding out about the crimes against the environment and theft of Native American lands. Mostly they've been found guilty of and fined for. But the fines are cheaper than the profit they make off it, so they carry on regardless. It's outrageous and I'm having none of it. My 14 year old son is possibly the only teenager who's never had anything from this company.

Only eat this when drunk or no one else open.

McDonald's is one of those places that will continue to be successful no matter how bad the reviews and that's half the problem... The staff here don't particularly care how they speak to you, it's loud, overcrowded and drive through orders usually mean waiting in the car park for 15 minutes so as not to reflect badly on their timed systems or in other words: 'how long they keep you waiting' Someone has to answer for that somewhere along the line. (worth remembering next time you get pushed on) Maybe you don't go to McDonald's expecting the Hilton experience' but when 2 meals are costing you close to £18 you do expect food that's atleast hot, tastes half way decent and vaguely resembles what you paid for - I'm sure there's a trading standards law somewhere that says something about that... Unfortunately our burgers arrived looking like they'd been thrown in a bin, cold and dry with a slop of salad saturated in sauce similar to something I wouldn't care to mention on a public forum dripping out the side. We emailed the store manager and sent photos of our meals including our receipt concerned about the low quality of the food & service we received. No reply, no acknowledgement, not even a simple 'I'm sorry about your experience how can we make it right' I'm sure they have little care that they've lost another customer because that's basically how McDonald's has become. Big corporations make no apologies to upsetting a person's day anymore unless it makes a real problem for their percentages at the end of the month I know that much. This is a disappointing place to spend your money and I truly hope whomever is reading this goes elsewhere, spend your money on a business that cares a bit more about 'you' the customer. Dreadful!

When I was in there earlier. I had a large Coca-Cola and my wife a hot chocolate. Something wasn't right with them the coke tasted like a very cheep cola and had a flowery taste . The chocolate was almost a tar undrinkable. Shame the rest of the meal was of a acceptable quality and hot .

Delivery never turned up and no refund

The restaurant wasn't busy when we went for some food on a Bank Holiday - plenty of parking available as well.

I ordered some food yesterday and I ordered large fries but they gave me medium fries they got my order wrong, the food was nice and hot and the staff were friendly but the drive-thru was very busy lots of cars If you want a takeaway from McDonald’s please go inside and order it yourself

I have yet again reconfirmed why i don't eat this food ordered three Double Big Mac meals for staff And they turned up without the fries when delivered Now i realise that Mcdonalds are not really attracting the real wealth pool of intelligence and talent, but it is that difficult to put three lots of Fries in the order!!! I would say more training required!!!

Came at 5am when it was supposed to open for breakfast and it was closed. In the end I had to ring and was informed that there was some problem with the order system so all the stores on the group were shut. When I said it would be nice if a sign could be put put informing customers about the problem I was informed management don't like signs in their stores. So much for customer care!!!!

Awful food. 04/02/2024. Drive thru!!! Awful food. I have an intolerance to tomatoes. "No tomatoes and onions please" burger full of both. All food freezing cold . Waited in parking bay for a while as well. Not busy !! Shocking service and staff. Food rammed in packs . People on the move haven't got time to check orders when they should be correct. Was home before noticing how horrible it all was.

Normal McDonalds, but of a trek from basement to get food but it's London .

My experience at this branch has always been pretty good in comparison to other branches located closer to towns. Plenty of parking, inside and outside seating. I usually get lunch but have had breakfast from here too after all nighters at the hospital.

Ordered two cheeseburgers quarter pounder and fries, plus two ring doughnuts. Main meal was fine but the ring doughnuts very disappointing. Too greasy and hardly any sugar on them.

Ordered Food online (207405381) status was never delivered. Contacted McDonalds St Oswalds they don't accept liability so have no food. Never order online again. Shame on you.

Ordered food advised to go to car park, half the order was delivered, had to chase the remaining part of the order, everything ended up cold.

Took my 4 year old great nephew for an early supper on Saturday. Have to say the staff were lovely. However the food was cold, even the fries! and the McFlurries, weren't very nice at all. I haven't had one for many years, but it use to be soft whippy ice cream with the choice of chocolate mixed through the ice cream. This was not whippy ice cream and has a few Malteser bits put on the top. Very disappointed. But lovely staff.

We ordered breakfast and paid but by the time we reachaed the restaurant for pick up it was past 11 am so they couldn't give us our order. Once you have paid the expectation would have been they put our order aside.. so beware even you order before 11:00 am you need to pick up before 11:00 as well, my question is why you are allowed to order then.. staff wasn't helpful at all.

Breakfast muffin goes down a treat and to be honest I prefer the muffin to the rest of the range, the latte could do with being hotter though.

Another Careless McDonald's Restaurant seemingly using meat burgers in their vegetarian McPlant Burgers. If stock is low then the McPlant meal should be temporarily removed from the menu. IWas not Vegetarian, was labelled as such this is gross misconduct and the company should face court hearings and cost's. As this matter has been witnessed in other locations that would suggest the management are advising the employee's to sale Meat Burgers when Vegetarian Burger stocks are low. This is disgusting behavior. CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING THIS RESTAURANT!

A good reliable 24-hour McDonald's with a drive-thru. Sometimes it may be closed for a few hours between 1am-5am.

we thrive on negative criticism which is fun to write and to read. However, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than the criticism deeming it so. The world is often unkind to new talent. an extra ordinary meal changed my preconceptions about fine cooking. they have rocked me to my core. in the past, i have made no distain to mcdonald’s, but this has changed. it is difficult to imagine no more humble beginnings than those cooking at mcdonald’s, they must be the finest chefs in gloucester. I look back to heading back for more.

Food was okay and coffee was good.

We got told we would be waiting 3-4mins but we waited 25 mins and sore a worker and asked where it was and they had given it out to someone else so we had to wait another 20 minutes for our food which was £30

Food was served quickly and hot. The staff were polite and friendly, cleanliness was exceptional. They even cleared our tray from us. A big 👍 to everyone.

Food great but very rarely have ice cream

Can’t even get a simple order right like Large mc plant meal - drink and chips missing Bacon cheese burger -Turned up fine Happy meal - turned up Cheese dippers -not there Medium chips - not there . Not even gonna go on about how previously my drink was spilled Food missing twice before And I had to pay like 11 pound to order a happy meal cuz they missed it got half of it refunded And when I rang he legit didn’t care. Once ignored me and made me mad so I point blank told him I work in a take away myself, doing thousands a night on Uber and this don’t happen so he needs to bring it up with manager and most likely half of them should be fired cuz they all useless. He hung up I get it all but because this happened before we wrote comment asking them to double check as several times before food was missing they still went and ignored it. But when u order from westage street mc Donald’s it always comes all fine. At this point am for sure gonna ring head office and get hold of manager tomorrow. Don’t even bother at this point

Ordered through Uber out of 7 times ordering in about 3/4 months 5 of them have been wrong and food being missing. When we told them half of the food was missing we got refunded 5 pound out of a 12 pound order, tonight we got tired of this happening again when we spend money so we called and got nothing but disrespect, I told them nicely that I order through Uber the name and that food was missing his reply was. What, like 3 times, learn manners dude not once was I treated like a customer. We both explained what happened no reply ….. we explained again and was mad at this point. Got hang up on 😂 avoid this place never giving a penny to this place again based on the one person that hang up and was nothing but rude. I would avoid this place at all costs. You won’t get what you pay for so what’s the point 🤷‍♀️

Seats get less comfy all the time

Generally one McDoo’s is as good as the next - scientific management at its best. Typically only have to look at the cleanliness of the immediate external areas and of course their toilets to realise how good they are. Their app gets better by the month and I now use it Serbian e if my arrival, rather than queue in the drive-thru, I have found it quicker to collect from the restaurant. It took less than 5 minutes to collect my or at St Oswalds Retail Park - so they have 5 stars from me.

The new self service screens have been placed in the most awkward place and have positioned them so close together. When i arrived it was really busy, people standing everywhere making it unsure who was waiting for what. I felt pressured and in the way when i was trying to place an order. Then waiting for my order people wasn't paying any attention as to which area to wait for their food. Is was absolute chaos and wish i never bothered.

Check your order before leaving, always atleast 1 missing item. Eveytime we go theres something missing from our order. We started to check each time we went and it was there. Until today 12/10/23. When we returned home to find that a burger was missing and also 5 chicken selects. Did give the benefit of the doubt. But will now be going to a different franchise as its a reoccurring pattern with St. Oswolds that atleast 1 of your items is missing. Great way for them to make a profit. Will not be returning.

Where to start.. 1. Today we were given the wrong order after having to park up again (this is the 4th time in 4 visits we've had to park and we don't order anything specialist - just happy meals every time) 2. Last time I ordered at the window because one of the lanes wasn't even being answered. 4 cars went ahead of me. 3. Service is just so slow on the drive thru. It's annoying because the team are SO NICE but there needs to be some efficency.

Always good value and a fun family treat

Ordered and then food served to be told that no mango smoothies, so asked for iced latte (none of these either) asked for caramel frappe instead. Guy went away and then came back to say that they now have mango smoothies and do I want that instead. All the time waiting for one drink and food was just going cold. Eventually got the drink after approx 5 mins after food was served.
