McDonald's in Gloucester

It was school holidays, so quite busy, but still quick service. Toilets very clean.

Ordered a meal including big mac, upon getting home l find out they did not the burger and they are not answering the phone

It's been happening again stuff missing items from the order not happy it's been second time now really disappointing specially when u call them and no respond

Slow, unorganised staff. Always asked to park up but gives hot drinks and icecreams first so they melt and go cold by the time the food arrives.

The place was clean which is always a bonus in England.

Lovely young lady helped me... Great job. Its a MaccyD...but a really good one.. Better than anything in Cheltenham

Waited 20 minuites for food. Staff didnt think why is he waiting there so long. After 25 mins asked where it is. Some uninterested lad said oh its been missed we have to do it again. I said no im already late for work just refund it and walked out. Didnt get money back. £17 wasted.

Again, again and again they forget to pack me the food i ordered, missing again things and it was happen only grom this restaurant.

The car queueing is still a nightmare. You can't park up when drive through ask you to, you can't get your car back out when you're finished. Cars queueing on to the road for drive through. Chaotic. And it's still like this.

Drive thru - all I wanted was a rasp and white choc pie, was it in the Bag? This is a mcdonalds so of course it wasn't. Screaming, crying, throwing up.

Had loads of little issues over the years but never have they forgotten fries. We ordered a double quarter pounder meal large and a Philly stack meal large. They forgot chips for both. I know I should have checked blah blah but how do they forget fries?

I visited this place last night because their website clearly states that they are open 24 hours. However, when I arrived, they refused to provide service, claiming they were closed. The staff was extremely rude and dismissive, speaking to me in a way that felt condescending, as if I didn’t understand English. It was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. If they are not actually open 24 hours, they should update their website instead of misleading customers. I do not recommend this place based on their poor service and disrespectful attitude.

Very poor, asking people to park up and wait for their order when there is a queue round the carpark and no spaces, absolute chaos. Asked to park up, I said how long was the food likely to be, manager said only a minute, so said that’s okay I’ll wait, as it will take me longer to park up, then started banging on my window asking me to move, no chance unfortunately, no with that attitude, a good reason and I would gladly have done……

You can no longer add pickles onto theor veggie burgers. I love pickles on my burger.

Do not order from this McDonald’s. The same thing has happened to me more than once. Food came absolutely freezing, missing a meal, the order arrived over an HOUR late, I ordered a vanilla milkshake, not a banana. It was not a big order at all so I don’t understand what the issue was. The receipt was correct? Couldn’t be any more clearer. I don’t usually order a takeaway and I never will from here again. Obviously I am expecting a refund. Tried calling customer services, shock they didn’t answer. Diabolical.

I’d like to know managers names on this shift tonight my food hasn’t even arrived it’s still saying “being prepared” they don’t answer the phone I think it’s disgusting how u can do that to people but I definitely will be coming in to speak to higher up

Ordered on uber and when it got delivered the receipt was mostly correct but the order in the bag was completely wrong and it took my ages to decide on what to eat but thought I’d go with something I can trust but no. Highly disappointed and way to annoy a pregnant woman

Yet again they forgot part of the order. This happens so often I don’t believe they have any quality control in that no-one checks the order with what’s in the bag. They just throw it in and hand it over. If it wasn’t for our kids we would never order there again.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I order a burger and chips, pretty simple meal. TWENTY minutes it took for it to arrive and it was cold and they got the toppings wrong. Serious need of new management

Just bought Big Mac meal and that’s what I received. There was like half portion of medium fries, so kind of small fries. No where to complain and they don’t answer. So sad 😔

What you would expect from a mcdonalds. Food was as it should be, although it was a little tight in store. Order machines are situated next to the collection counter making it a little tight when busy. Also car park needs to be larger.

got my uber eats order wrong now are refusing to pick up, not only am i missing 2 large chips they swapped out my original coke for a vanilla milkshake? not even a strawberry milkshake. i an DEEPLY offended ive just gotten off a 10 hr flight and wanted comfort food now im more stressed. thank you for ruining my day hope u have a horrible new year and burger king was always and will be better

Why ent it open for breakfast then

This has to be one of the worst run McDonalds in the country. Tonight come to about drive thru about 10.45pm…. About six staff outside chatting and smoking/vaping out the back door. Not sure if an audio problem with head set but had to repeat the order multiply times (“we have no shakes” - no apology) and they still got it wrong when got to the window. When I explained what was incorrect just got huffed by the young staff member, it was then corrected and I paid (no Thank You). Second window…. You’ll need to park up. Fine…. Lovely fresh food coming! 20 minutes later - food comes and it’s all luke warm at best! So what have they done for the last 20 minutes whilst I’m parked up, car park is empty, about ten people sat inside eating and a few delivery drivers (one of the drivers in frustration even punched a window)? Maybe having the whole team out the back on break together wasn’t such a great idea? I wonder if the franchises actually read these reviews as a clear theme over the last few months in particular? Visit a few different McDonalds around and this was one of the best - friendly staff, quick service, hot food! Not sure what’s happened the last couple of visits as always awful. I’d rather drive a few miles either way to get a decent warm McDs!

What makes this branch shit is that old lady who works in the morning shift with whom i was very polite and she doesnt even know how to speak. Crazy !!!

The most disorganised mcdonald's I've ever had the displeasure of using. Unprofessional and unhelpful staff, struggling to deal with a simple order being mussed. This led me to deal with an argumentative manager so far detached from reality, telling me I had to get a refund from customer services and re order my drinks. Even with order confirmation email, this apparently means nothing. Sorted in the end after constantly pointing out the lies and deception. AVOID

If I could rate this McDonald's any lower than one star, I would gladly do so. Like many times before, I have recently ordered a drive-thru meal of one Happy Meal with 4 chicken nuggets and a small coke, and one Happy Meal with a plain hamburger and a chocolate milkshake. My first problem occurred when a member of staff, over the drive-thru speakerphone, had told me that they had sold out of milkshakes. I understand that, sometimes, a particular nutriment can be exedingly popular and there is nothing that can be done to restock an item rapidly. However, this same matter has transpired many times beforehand and I feel that after many years of orders from this specific fast-food restaurant, I must leave a complaint. The second instance occurred when I had successfully paid and left. I arrived at my destination only to realise that my plain hamburger had been replaced with four extra chicken nuggets. Now acquiring eight chicken nuggets, we also had not received the ketchup we had paid for. I am completely appaled and disappointed with the service and have tried to negotiate the need to leave a negative review yet this has happened one too many times for my preference. I would refrain from ordering from this McDonald's in the future. Thank you.

Ordered through Uber. Food is cold and dry, forgot all my sauces and the cold drinks are in the same bag as hot food. No standards at all. Disgusting.

I came through the drive thru and was asked to park which was absolutely fine and i had no issue with this, but when the food and drinks was brought out to us all the cokes was half full, i understand there is space left for ice but the amount in the cup was a joke, i then was told i was wrong by the member of staff who proceeded to show me other drinks that in my opinion was unacceptable, Manger Kymarni stood less then 3 meters away laughing at the situation absolutely disgraceful, could have been handled alot better

Food is cold, the restaurant part is freezing, well done to that depressing person who planned an open area where the Entrance door is just a decoration and doesn’t close in winter, feels like you are having your meal outside. The place run by high school students. Waiting for a sandwich and 1 meal 20 mins + Thursday evening. Well done team 😉

Went to machine placed order, then machine failed to connect left stood there for 5mins waiting for staff to notice me at the counter. No interaction until I stopped him and got served paid at till, by then 10 orders behind where I was. Food was good though.

Ordered a delivery last night. It was 1 hour late. Everything was cold. I chucked it all in the bin. Absolutely unacceptable. McDonald's Barnwood is an absolute disgrace. Worst McDonald's I've ever had.

This restaurant is very slow ,thought we would give it another go only to find the service even slower.Worth driving a bit further to any other of the Gloucester MC Donald's .So far, several people are waiting for their orders,I think they prioritise the drive-through first and can't be bothered about the internal orders 25 mons and still waiting

The floor guy Emmanuel is very friendly and helped me with issues with my maccies app, the food was regular maccies quality but tasted better cuz it was free.

Surprise Surprise milkshake machine not working. Don't think it's worked since 2007. Food was mcdonald's Food but filled a gap.

Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We had table service it was quick and the food was lovely and hot. One of the staff even came and took our used tray from us to save me trying to push a wheelchair with a tray and 2 drinks. The only thing we didn't appreciate was the awful taste in music. It was terrible all sounded the same, loud and awful. You really need to look at the Crowd in at different times of the day and the Choice of music.

More time is spent focused on delivery companies leaving the instore customer waiting long periods of time withina poorly laid out McDonald's

They asked us to park because our meal wasn't ready. We waited and waited, cars came and left before us and still no food arrived. In the end we had to chase our order. They admitted it had been lost and they had to prepare it all over again. Total waste of 25 mins we won't get back again. Rubbish!!

The fourth collection order in a row that food ordered was missing. Normally they just forget the dips (literally ever time), but the last four times Multiple meals missing. Queues too long to bother going back. Tragic branch.

Service ok, but the food was not nice, the Mcrib should be called Mcvomit it tasted horrible. The double cheeseburger was ok. The cheesy bites had no taste, felt it was cheaply made.

Mcdonalds are thieves. When placing an uber order they weigh bags and then remove items before sending the items to drivers. I have complained to uber and mcdonalds and because the bag weighed what it was supposed to, I'm not eligible for a refund. This happens on every order. If it's happening to me, it's happening to everyone. Theft is theft, doesn't matter if it's pennies or pounds. I really hope mcdonalds enjoy their stolen goods. Clearly they need it more than me. Food was also inedible even once reheated. Tasted stale like it had been left out since yesterday's breakfast. I've had far superior service from the St Oswald's store. They're lovely in here. Drive the extra few miles and eat in.

Worst McDonalds around I'm not even sure where to start, after you have waited over half an hour for your order, or 50 mins through the drive thru if its after 11pm at night! (this doesn't matter if you order through the drive thru or inside) the chances are you will get the wrong order. The food is always cold as certain items have been waiting for over 20 mins. The poor staff are just rushed off there feet stressed by the insane pressure they are put under with online orders, drive thru, collection and restaurant. All the customers are annoyed as they will have been waiting ages for their food, its so bad that all the customers talk about how long they've been waiting, this isn't a one off issue and this has been happening here for the best part of a year now. just a bad atmosphere with below standard food.

I would give it no stars if I could. Yet again another incorrect order received. Ordered through the McDonald’s app from Northbrook Rd Gloucester. The restaurant is incapable of fulfilling an order correctly. It is not a big ask to be given what you have paid for but time and time again this restaurant fails.

Usual McDonald's experience. Reasonable pricing has now gone and it's getting more expensive. Great consistency of food and drinks. Great customer service. Clean toilets. All good

Ordered delivery for my family had to heat it up re do the burger as it was discombulated (messy) had to heat up the nuggest and the fries and the burger milkshakes were melted not worth £31 won’t be ordering again

The staff are amazing and the food is always hot fresh and inside the restaurant area is always clean touch wood I haven't had wild teenaged hooligans I take a little old lady who has dementia there and she feels safe and she loves the music

Waiting for about 30 minutes for 2 bacon mayo chickens, with several people getting their more complex orders before ours. I spoke to 3 separate people over a 15-minute period, who each promised they would get it, one of which delivered, one did nothing, and the other got the order wrong. I worked at Mcdonalds for 5 years (not this one), and believe me, I have never seen such incompetence. Such a small, simple order but it seems to be like trying to crack nuclear fusion for these people.
