£28 for a tray of average (at best!) lamb Donner and not much else. Nothing like it used to be. Won’t be using again

Literally paid an extra £2.50 for an Extra large kebab,and so shocked to receive the smallest chicken kebab I have ever seen. It's a shame as your food is lovely, but your portioning is disgraceful

Always used to use Flames when Ali owned it at the old address and was Excellent back then.. BUT since it has been taken over and moved just up the road the food is awful !!!!!!!!!!! Burnt pizza with hardly any topping on it. Cold and paper thin.. Tasted terrible and we threw both pizzas in the bin... AVOID THIS HORRENDOUS PLACE !!!!!!!!!

A few months ago I would use Flames regularly if I wanted takeaway. They have moved slightly but I assumed the same food quality. I am wrong. Tonight is the second night trying it, giving them Benefit of a doubt, but it’s still awful. I can only assume new ownership. No chilli sauce, rubbery lamb donner, the only saving grace is the chips. Not recommended anymore sadly

Food awful. Came all wet in bag and the burgers dripping in garlic mayo. Shouldn't put so much sauce in the burger. Ordered two burgers. One plain. One with sauce. They both came with sauce. Not impressed. Would like someone to contact for a full refund. Kind regards

Ordered via just eat and had to call the restaurant after the food did not arrive. Was told by the restaurant that they had changed hands and had an issue with just eat and that the food would be delivered in 30mins. 1 hour later it final arrived however was burnt, cold and missing items as well as incorrect items. When trying to call them back they kept hanging up the call and turned their phone off! Once I finally got through to them they promised a full refund however ended up only providing a partial credit on just eat ! Such a shame as previously the food has been excellent from here however we will not be using them again!!

Had a £50 order, arrived but missing a burger from the order. Tried to phone restaurant but they would just hang up or refuse to talk by walking away from the phone while I was still on phone then come back and hang up anyway. They then tried to charge me AGAIN another £13 for a burger I never received or even made again, didn’t even refund me. Order a delivery via Gloucester Eats as they are new to the app. Quick delivery. I ordered the Chicken Shish & Lamb Kofte, with Mayo and all the salad. It was delicious, you could taste it was flame grilled. Only thing I would change is to ask for the meat to be put in/on the kebab as I like it soaking up the juices. But I know most prefer it separated. I’ll add it to my order notes next time.

Food tasted great, fast prompt delivery. The price on the menu is not what you pay. My meal should have been £16.50 but charged £19.50 when queried. I was told there was a discount from the website. after ordering a vegetarian pizza I took a bite and there was pepperoni underneath the cheese. I have been a vegetarian for 16 years and this had me vomiting all night! also within the same order was a 'special burger which gave my partner food poisoning. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Worst service I've ever had, I was over charged for my food, and when it came it was tiny. Pathetic amount. Couldn't even fill my tiny dog up.... I phoned up to talk about it and the manager was really rude and refused to do anything about it. He kept putting the phone down on me but I kept ringing back.

Ordered a takeaway cost £30 and it looked like someone had regurgitated it! I would have thought anyone would would be too embarrassed to present such low food standards. It was also stone cold and inedible. I politely complained expecting to be greeted with a solution. However, the staff member was ignorant and rude. If I could I would give them 0 stars. Requested delivery for half 7, which didn't arrive until gone 9pm!!! Called multiple times to either be hung up on or shouted down the phone at by the manager and told multiple times to shut up and F*** off. When the food did arrive it was cold and not all the order had been delivered. Called back and was told I would be provided with a refund. No refund received and was advised by the manager if ever I contacted them again he would call the police on me. Avoid like the plague unless you want poor quality food which is delivered late, and if you dare question the manager you will receive a tirad of abuse.

Let's face it, if you're stuck up and picky, you wouldn't be ordering from a kebab shop in Gloucester city centre would you? For those of us who weren't born with a silver spoon in our mouths, this place meets your take-away needs. Lovely and friendly staff, decent quality of food, good deals. Yeah ok they automatically round up medium meals to large to charge you an extra quid but so what, you get extra food! They delivery, they take card, and they're on JustEat. Perfect evening meal sorted after a trip to the pub

Probably one of the best kebab takeaway in the country. The tastiest and best value kebabs. I come here all the way from Worcester tm eat. The staff is lovely and very welcoming. The food is always spot on and always extra.

We ordered through hungry house and it took 1 hour and 25 minutes. It was a Saturday night at 10pm, so can understand it's busy. However the food was really bad. It's a cheap burger on a Saturday night so not expecting amazing food, but the ships were soggy and had clearly been microwaved. I had a cheese burger which was almost cold an almost no cheese. Cans of coke were warm.

A superb place for all kind of eat out requirements. Options include doner, kofte, sheesh kebabs, burgers, fish and chips. They have a range of spirited drinks and juices too. Superb food, huge/ large portions - absolute value for money. Wholesome meal, delicious melt in your mouth kebabs. Flavourful food and a must go when you are on a holiday.

First time here today. Walked straight in and instantly was very welcoming by the staff. I got chatting to Ali and he took mine and my friends order. The pizza was unbelievable. It was the best pizza I've had in Gloucestershire by a good distance. Ali cooked the pizza to a perfection with a good Base and a even ammount of toppings cheese and tomato sauce. The chips were so fresh they were extremely hot. A pinch of salt on them and they were perfect. Hot crispy and taste clean. (Oil) I will be dropping all other pizza shops and this will now be my regular. Thanks guys for great food and a 10/10 service. 5 star from me.

Used this takeaway twice while on holiday in Gloucester, staff very courteous and friendly they even remembered us when we came back the second time. Food was cooked fresh and very tasty. Would recommend them to anyone who wants to have decent fast food. Would use again if in the area.

I came here after a few drinks with my partner on our way home, my partner had not eaten all day so was really hungry, he ordered a shish kebab and I had a kofte kebab and chips, well what can I say the chips were vile, soggy and we had only taken them 200 yards home, my partners kebab was greasy and he ended up bringing it up later on, we had not drank that much! Mine was dry and rubbery and had no flavour.

Been here a few times worse for wear, but have enjoyed chips with kebab meat on top.. Place seems well run and they have a decent hygiene rating too. Very nice, you can eat in too.

Had pizza from here recently. Was very nice, my only criticism would be that I think the 'pork' toppings are not actually pork, this should be written on the menu really.. Would go again though.
