Friendly cafe with a decent menu and good food. Very conveniently located on the station platform. Popped in while waiting for a train and had a coffee (very. Good) and a takeaway sandwich (equally good). Great service and tasty food

This is a great pizza place. Very friendly service, interesting music in the background and a terrific choice of pizza. The pizzas themselves are not small, so be prepared. They also have a small but excellent choice of beers to go with the pizza, and not ridiculously priced. They also offer a delivery and takeaway service which you book direct (no additional charges to Deliveroo or Uber).

A lovely little pub with plenty of character. Really nice craft ale and friendly people. The beers change weekly giving us something different each week. They open Thursday to Saturday until 9pm.

A wonderful surprise to discover this Sri Lankan takeaway in Axminster. They deliver to your door and the food is delicious. Really fresh and tasty and at a very reasonable price. Very friendly owners too. Highly recommended and will definitely be ordering food from them again.

Absolutely delicious food, the best Thai food I've ever had. The flavours are so clean and fragrant, they don't get mixed and each leave a distinct taste. We had the Thai green and red curries, and both were excellent with coconut rice. The vegetable spring rolls were incredible, packed with delicious flavour!

Visited for one of the “Great Feast” events at River Cottage HQ Luckily a sunny evening for the downhill walk to River Cottage. It is a beautiful walk in the early evening sunshine (not sure I’d feel the same on a rainy evening 🤔) Quick mention that without a booking you can’t walk down to River Cottage HQ. Once at River Cottage you are free to walk around & explore the gardens, which are beautiful. You are seated on long shared dining tables. Name places are placed along the table so you know where you’re sitting. You are invited into the kitchens throughout your dining experience (which I personally found interesting) The tasting menu is phenomenal. Each course beautifully presented & a delight to the taste buds. It’s not a cheap experience, but I would say worth every penny. Word of advice, when we left it was pitch black so walking uphill on gravel paths was a somewhat “interesting” experience. Again not sure how I’d feel if it was pouring with rain or if I was with someone with mobility issues. We were informed walking to & from was the only option 🤷♀️

Decent coffee, however the woman working was so rude it ruined my experience (blonde, wearing a dress and early thirties?) she just made me feel like an inconvenience for wanting to pay. Also the counter was very cluttered and messy, it did not look fully hygienic, she could of spent her time cleaning that rather than doing nothing for the full duration of my visit. Overall I won't be returning and I don't recommend higgler cafe to anyone (at least while she's working).

Visited with friends yesterday evening and am very pleased to leave a review, having eaten a 3 lovely courses, drank some nice Italian beer and an “on the house limoncello” Nice setting, friendly staff, reasonably priced quality food. Well done Bellino ! Will definitely return soon.

Good service, great food for a reasonable price. Loads of choice (possibly too much!). Would definitely eat again if I’m in the area.

Azura's menu is not extensive, but the food is better for it, and excellent value for money. Everything was freshly prepared, tasty, and served with a smile. I was so pleased to have found my favourite, clams, served the way I remember loving in Portugal, washed down by a nice glass of vinho branco. I was surprised the restaurant was so empty on the Friday nigh - perhaps the good folks of Axminster have not yet cottoned onto the fact they've got such a nice place on their doorstep. Don't leave it too late, it would be a shame if it had to close!
