The best restaurants in St Keverne and Meneage Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

We stopped in for a quick bit of lunch on our walk from Helford along the coast path. We weren’t expecting much but were delighted when we walked in to be warmly welcomed into a lovely bar and eating area. Apparently recently renovated and it looks great. Even better was the food - we had a couple of ciabattas and some amazing chunky chips to share and it was all absolutely delicious! We couldn’t fault any of it. The inn is obviously also a hub in the local community which was great to see. Thank you, I’m sure we’ll be back.

After a wet walk, we’ve just had the best flapjack, absolutely delicious apple and bramble crumble cake and a 10/10 cup of coffee. We could stay here all day! ⭐️

It's always a treat when you stumble into a little coffee shop and find everything done with excellence. Spectacular coffee, gorgeous treats, and very thoughtful decor. Can't wait to visit again on a longer trip.

Our friends took us for afternoon tea for our 30th wedding anniversary. The food was exemplary and the service which included recommendations of wine was first class. This alone would be five stars. However, what sets the Talland Bay Hotel as one of the best places we have ever visited is its staff. We were welcomed by the fantastic Ruby who made us feel so welcome and her team from there on were brilliant. You are all stars.

Stumbled across this place and so glad we did! Dog friendly, reasonably priced and fab for gluten free with most dishes being able to be made GF. 100% recommend.

Great value for money. Food was tasty piping hot and a very varied menu to suit everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back for another meal.

Probably the most delicious Moules Marinere ever! Thank you Shipwrights team for a lovely evening and looking after us so well. The menu was small but perfectly formed and totally delicious.

We came here during our visit to Coverack for an evening meal. It is a lovely small restaurant, with such a fantastic view - we were lucky enough to sit in the window. The food was fantastic, we had squid for a starter, which was lovely. I then had a seafood thai curry - easily the best thai curry I have had out for a long time. The lovely lady serving was chatty, funny, and very attentive to our dog. We were sat chatting about a local beer, and the chef came past and showed us a beer that they stock from a local brewery, and recommended a couple of different ones. All in all, food was great, location was great and the staff were fantastic. We would definitely visit again!

Unfortunately this wonderfully situated pub seems to be no more. There is a fir sale sign on the building and it's closed. Did some online sleuthing and it was bought by someone who wanted to do it up a d reopen it. But that seems to have fallen by the way side. When a contact email was sent a query about what was happening the reply was when we are know, we will update on all media. Such a shame. There is a pebbly beach there, a car park and public loos. When it was a going concern it served lovely fish and chips. So don't go on the off chance as presently it's not open. I guess wait till they update their media.

Worth a visit absolutely gorgeous food ,great atmosphere, staff very friendly, doggy bag available if required, sell beer etc ,everything wanted was catered for 10 out of 10

Went to the Paris twice whilst staying in the village, first at lunch time then for the carvery on New Years Day. Both times the food was superb and the staff friendly and welcoming. Great pub in a beautiful location.

Ordered on the phone, terribly rude woman took our order, waited 2 hours then rang to see how long before our order arrived. I was rudely treated and basically asked if I wanted our order or not? Spoken to others who have experienced this same rudeness. Food eventually arrived at 22:35, Offered a 10% discount for the treatment and delay. The food was not so great when it arrived eventually and was also lukewarm. Disastrous. Go elsewhere
