Ordered on the phone, terribly rude woman took our order, waited 2 hours then rang to see how long before our order arrived. I was rudely treated and basically asked if I wanted our order or not? Spoken to others who have experienced this same rudeness. Food eventually arrived at 22:35, Offered a 10% discount for the treatment and delay. The food was not so great when it arrived eventually and was also lukewarm. Disastrous. Go elsewhere

Had an order for 6 , ordered veg spring rolls but we received the non vegetarian ones. My beef and mushrooms was a let down as the beef was tough and tasteless. The batter on the chicken balls was thick and doughy in places. I won’t be visiting again as my daughter is vegetarian and when she bit into the spring roll she was ill and it put her off her dinner.

Thank you for our lovely takeaway (delivery). I love the fact that we are always able to call slightly ahead of time to enable prompt delivery as we prefer to always eat early. All dishes, squid, chicken black beak, duck plum sauce, noodles, rice, chicken balls and chicken chop suey were delicious as always. The chicken balls are always amazing, huge chunks of tender chicken and not greasy or over cooked. It would be good if delivery drivers can stamp our loyalty card as we’ve not been able to add our last 6 orders to it so I would ask that they are able to carry a stamp for this purpose. Apart from that we are always satisfied and staff are always polite. Thank you x (photos are before some dishes added to plate )

Spur of the moment treat, we didn't book but they were able to accommodate us. Quick friendly service and lovely food. From starters to main meals the food was really good freshly prepared and plentiful. Staff really attentive. Excellent value for money and highly recommend.

What a way to spend our 10th wedding Anniversary... Simone was a wonderful host really friendly and chatty and we were given a table with an impressive view, Abbie was so knowledgeable about the food and really helpful with all our questions and Chase was charming, ensuring Covid compliance with a polite and friendly manner... As for the food - simply the best we have ever had! We both tried dishes we had not had before after recommendations from Simone and Abbie and loved every mouthfull... In particular the HUGE spring rolls, Beef in Black bean sauce and Yung chow fried rice were exceptional.... Not at all surprised that so many people recommended them - we had high expectations and they lived up to them! Fantastic evening Thank You girls!

We only live five minutes away, but always get our takeaways from Helston. Following a recommendation by a family member, we decided to give Moonbay a try. We were not disappointed! Three adults and two children shared the 'Menu C' option and there was still food left over. The food was ready when I arrived to collect and was piping hot. Tasted as good as any other Chinese restaurant in the area. We'll definitely be back!

Not a bad option if you don't want to have to cook whilst on holiday. Not the greatest Chinese takeaway you'll ever have but it's ok. Varied menu, portions are good.

Food really nice but buffet not hot enough. Have been several times when buffet started and was nice and hot. Several friends have bee recently and said food was cold. I thought maybe they were wrong. But one had also been several times before. So I booked for 7 people and although the food tasted lovely. It was in the main not hot enough. I and friends will not be returning until we hear this is sorted. WHAT A SHAME I DID TELL WAITING STAFF OF MY CONCERNS.

What can I say about this place other than its alright. The food is acceptable, the staff did the minimum you would require of them. Price wise is OK.

Well where do I start 2 off us 2 cokes and 2 buffet meals £37.50.To me not worth it to get into the restaurant there are more holes in the drive than on the moon.Then was told we would have our drink order taken at table 25 mins later I had to go to the bar and get them. Well the buffet was ok but had to keep asking for food to be topped up no plates they have a plate warmer not being used so cold plates as a chef that is a no no.Could hardly get to the soup on a old kitchen work top that you had to walk over pieces of wood on the covering pipes sitting next to a broken down coffee machine in pieces.Just very untidy area. Well the desserts more like a kids party food different flavour Angle delights cheap tesco iced buns ice creams the scoops where in dirty ice cream water looked had not been changed, had to go into the pot wash to ask for bowls.The desserts should be kept cold not left out for everyone to breath on skin on the Angle delight very poor display on a looked like a wall papering table.Will not be going back poorly run chinese restaurant at a high price.

Loved this place. It came recommend by a shop keeper was we are here on holiday. We booked our table online that day and when we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff asked where we would like to sit. That was refreshing. Quick service and with a smile. The food was very nice. I have attached some photos. Spring rolls, Sui Mai dumplings, Sweet and Sour Chicken balls King Prawn Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style. I would highly recommend this restaurant and takeaway if you like Chinese food.

Lovely views from the restaurant while we waited for our meal. We ordered vegetarian options which were all very tasty. I loved the hot and sour Chinese leaves and my husband loved the Szechuan beans - good and spicy. Staff were friendly.

First time use, been waiting for the banquet counter since Moon Bay opened but still no joy... Looked on line for a menu on line could not find one, called the restaurant to place order. Girl on phone very helpful as I had no menu to order from.. Tried the takeaway for the first time, the food was ok. Good temperature and presentation, I will go back to try again.. my only negative was the entrance to the restaurant and carpark, unlit, unwelcoming and looks like a house drive until you turn in to it. This needs illumination to highlight the entrance..

Stopped on way past for a Chinese takeaway. Ordered and waited 10 mins in car as had dog with us. Friendly staff who came into the car park with our order too. Food was good. We had crispy duck pancakes. Special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. All pretty good! Needed heating up in microwave for a bit as not that hot.

We are staying nearby on holiday and passed the signs for this place. We called in at 7pm tonight and we were seen to promptly by a young efficient lady. We ordered the £30 set menu C for 2 as a takeaway. We were informed that it would be a 15/20 min wait and we were able to sit in the outdoor seating area whilst we waited (beautiful view). It was a 15 min drive back to our accommodation and the food was still really warm. The food was beautiful and plentiful. We are a family of 3 and still had lots left over. I wish we had a good takeaway like this nearer to home. I would definitely recommend this place for a Chinese takeaway

Well, we had high hopes about this Chinese. Everyone we spoke to said it was nice an to go so we waited until the end of our holiday to have unfortunately only 2 out of 9 meals were nice! There was chicken in the prawn toast not prawn an 2 meals we couldn’t even tell the difference between a crispy chilli beef and a chilli an honey, not a clue. I spoke to someone on a messenger an told me the menu is on face book so when I asked for the garlic and butter king prawns (in the shell) we was then told they don’t do them? So I think your menu needs updating!! Very mift

Had a take-away from here whilst we were on holiday. Food was average, nothing spectacular. Service was ok, staff were friendly. Good prices.

The ladies serving in the restaurant were lovely. Very good views, extensive menu. Food was good and authentic. Table service quickly and efficiently. Very reasonable would recommend.
