We visited as a group of 4 friends. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Had a delicious bottle of wine in the garden before dinner and the food was amazing. Thoroughly recommend the scallops! Definitely somewhere I'll be coming back to.

We were walking from Padstow and took a diversion to have lunch here. It was well worth it with very tasty crepes and cakes. It was windy and a bit cloudy so the food and coffee was a very welcome treat. We carried on our long walk feeling well fed and positive we will return next time we visit Padstow. The chaps serving are very polite and it's definitely worth trying.

Excellent Italian food and top quality service. Dog friendly which was fantastic. Make their own pasta with a bronze dye. Squid linguine with crab was packed full of flavour. The selection of non alcoholic cocktails was excellent. Wish we could have had a pudding, but we'd only just eaten a cake from the bakery. Next time we will! Pricey lunch, but you get what you pay for, and this was special. Highly recommended.

Visited for first time last week with my wife. Beautiful setting and the food was out of this world we have to say. I did the “challenge the chef” Chefs Curry Combo and it was the best curry I have ever had anywhere- the chicken, keema and prawns all delicious and it certainly was a challenge but I managed to eat the lot. My wife had a mixed vegetable balti with coconut rice and that too was faultless. Service was so attentive and polite, honestly could not fault a thing, so much so we are returning with friends next week and a neighbour went on our recommendation two nights ago and were thoroughly impressed too, they are going back soon too. 10 out of 10 !!

Everything exceeded our expectations! The room was beautiful, spacious & really well appointed. The view is stunning - we couldn't stop looking at the ever changing scenery. Dinner was great, generous portions & nicely cooked. Breakfast was equally good. The staff were all friendly & professional. We would have loved to have stayed for longer, & wouldn't hesitate to return.

Another fantastic stay at The wonderful Quarryman. Always the warmest of welcomes, fine ales, delicious meals and excellent service! Once again, thank you to Guy and all the staff for making our trip so comfortable and memorable. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Extremely expensive for what it was. Nothing special. Over £200 for 2 diners. My son had beef which was on the specials menu. Three tiny slices of beef, two pools of puree and half a grilled tomato. £45. I had duck breast. Soggy fat layer. Tiny decorative salsify and two small odd dried out potato dauphine but not enough to constitute a main course. We had to order extra sides. Strange. Out of the 6 tables in the part of the pub we sat in, 3 complained about food (we didn't complain). One about quality of another steak dish, one about the same duck dish I had and another about something she insisted was taken off the bill. Whilst our waitress was utterly charming and clearly doing her best (hence why we didn't complain) the delay between courses was very long indeed. We were second to last out of the pub restaurant (only 9.20pm....) and whilst they could have waited a few minutes while we finished our meal, the other tables were being noisily cleaned with spray cleaner which didn't help the taste of the desserts. Awful experience, expensive mistake.

Absolutely beautiful from the moment we walked in. A lovely welcome from behind the bar from an older gentleman. The waitress was lovely and freindly and gave us some information on things to do locally! The food is out of this world ! Lovely experience

We really enjoyed our Dinner. It was during the week with three choices to start and for the main course. Beautifully cooked using fresh and local fare.
