Stopped on route home, did not expect much but it was excellent. Pulled pork nacho according to daughter were delicious, jalapeños were a little little bit spicy. Hulk burger was rated 2nd best burger by my son, who lives for burger, only Honest Burger in Brighton was better according to him, this is a high accolade. I do have to agree my double cheese smash burger was lovely, and chips were Season to perfection. Do yourself a favour and visit this place, you’re not going to regret it. 2 burgers, 1 pulled pork nachos and chips all round was about £37. Food is cooked to order so do not expect a drive through experience like Maccies etc

This was our first time here, It was a beautiful and quiet place to stay. All the staff were very nice and helpful .The cabin was very clean and spacious with some nice little touches sush as the robes and a starter pack and even a pint of milk in the fridge. The hot tub was an added bonus. We loved it so much we have booked to go back next year. Would Recommend.

Absolutely fabulous meal today. Prawn starter with proper sized prawns. Hotpot was delicious. Cannot fault either the staff or the service. A definite return in the offing. Highly recommend this place and the atmosphere was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Staying at a local cottage, pub was recommended to us. Wish we hadn’t bothered, veggie burger and bun dry, skinny fries had salt on them. They need to ask customers if they want salt, I don’t like it, gave my fries to partner, onion ring was nice. Partner had fish n chips, fish nice but chips were hard, mushy peas were crushed garden peas, partner doesn’t like garden peas. Won’t be going back

Visited here three times during a weeks holiday staying in Downderry. Great location and a lovely walk along beach to get there. First visit was for a Sunday carvery which was one of the best we have ever had, the roast beef (as were all the meats) was delicious and not burnt to a crisp like most carveries offer. The roast potatoes were amazing also. Great service and really friendly staff serving us throughout all visits. The salads are amazing as is the lasagne. Really pleased we found this gem of a pub and will definitely be returning when next in Cornwall. They also treat dogs like vips and clearly advertise it is a dog friendly pub (for all you moaners that dogs barking etc) Thank you.

This is an excellent cafe and vendor of local produce. Lovely seating area near the sea. The owner couldn’t be nicer and the choices of coffees, teas, cakes and pasties are perfect for a visit. Now licenced to sell alcoholic beverages means that you can enjoy your favourite tipple in the sunshine with friends or family.

Lovely golf course, challenging holes in great condition. Beautiful scenery enjoyed as we played. Golf pro very helpful and welcoming as were the members who seemed to know we were not locals. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
