4 of us met up for a lunch, each thinking the other couple had booked, (neither had!) despite being incredibly busy, they fitted us in. Lovely polite service, and very tasty food. Certainly a return visit on the cards!

This pub will always be a favourite for its Riverside location at the very least. Recently taken over by Amanda and her partner Shane, they have built on the pubs previous good reputation. The food is good quality, generous portions , several draught beers always available and the staff are lovely. I would award them 5/5 but knock 1 off because they never seem to have a non dairy milk available. My dear wife does love her coffee or tea. All in all a lovely place to dine, chill and chat to friends.

We had just arrived in Cornwall for our holiday and stopped here for lunch. Having a dog, we needed somewhere that was dog friendly and they didn't disappoint. They welcomed up with open arms, including our dog Izzy. The service was welcoming and extremely friendly, the pub was lovely and quaint and rhe food was divine. We will definitely go again if we have time. Thank you for the treats for Izzy, she loved them too.

We were staying in Torpoint and booked a table at this pub for a Sunday roast , and were not disappointed, this pub fully complied with Covid requirements, and the staff were both very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was good and menu only consisted of either beef or pork with all the trimmings. our food arrived at our table piping hot and whilst my beef dish was very good, and my wife's pork dish was the same.

Looking for a place for an early dinner, called the Copley Arms and they fitted us in. Face masks to be worn unless seated, which is responsible. Staff wearing masks, which is good. Ordered Scampi, Chicken burger and Classic burger. All good. If I had to pick any holes in the visit, no gluten free bread for the burgers, not really a problem, and some outside tables had not been cleared. But I think it was around staff change over time. Overall, would recommend for a meal.

Although not widely known for ‘ out of season ‘ Breakfasts, my friends and I have made a weekly pilgrimage to the Copley almost every weekend. Food is always good quality especially the bacon and sausages. We usually sit outside which can result in cold tea, but that’s our fault. Love the place and the family that run it.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. I'm a big fan of a proper 'Pub Curry' and the Chicken Madras was a proper old school Pub Ruby, smashing. The menu offered some pub favourites such as scampi, burgers etc. Good range of beers. Nice place for a pub dinner.

We were staying nearby and we watched a traditional pub and this was perfect, staff were very accommodating as we hadn't booked and gave us the largest table in the house, which was funny as there was only 2 of us. Food is excellent, nice local ales and you will not leave feeling hungry, we had a lovely time and the staff were attentive throughout. Cant fault it, would recommend to anyone passing.

Booked in advance which is essential. Sat outside by the lovely stream. All 4 of us had great meals. Good value for money and brilliant service. Expect to wait about an hour for food but not a hardship as the bar service is good.

We are regulars at this lovely picturesque pub and we couldn't wait to get back when the pubs reopened. In fact we have been back twice since it reopened, and on both occasions we have had the Madras curry, which is something else. We prefer this curry to any you get in an Indian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and we always get a warm welcome. This pub is a must to visit and if you do, try the curry, you will not be disappointed.

The food was ok. Not really enough wrong to complain but not enough right to want to repeat the experience. The pie wasn’t very nice. I’ve read that another customer thought it was tinned meat which I have to say is a bit harsh. It’s definitely home made and the pastry lid was lovely but the actual sauce the pie was cooked in was just not very nice. On the other hand, the baguette looked nice. I do agree that they could perhaps jazz things up with better chips. If you go here you won’t have a terrible meal or a great one, either. The staff were all lovely and extremely welcoming. Firm COVID policy in place so no worries from that point of view either.

Visited The Copley Arms during the half term school holidays. It’s a character pub- restaurant with a large car park Received a very warm welcome from the staff & were sat at a large table perfect for our family of four adults & two children. We really enjoyed our experience & the only reason not 5 Stars is the Cornish pasties three of our party ordered were a bit disappointing.

Having visited The Copley Arms for drinks over the last few days, my wife suggested we have dine there. We decided on an early evening meal. My wife enjoyed the gourmet burger and I enjoyed the Cornish blue cheese burger. I must admit that my burger was one of the best that I have ever enjoyed. The local ale is delicious, the surroundings are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Close to the beach but wildly overpriced for really basic fare and their “artisan gelato” is disgusting. We tried three flavours and they were all terrible, but the chocolate was so atrocious we couldn’t finish it. Ask yourself when the last time you didn’t finish an ice cream was!

On holiday for a week and we visited 3 times. First time was for a drink only, second for an evening meal and thenthirdnfir Sunday lunch. On all occasions, service was friendly, attentive (without being in your face or false) and courteous. Our evening meal was a beautiful piece of grilled haddock in a very tasty sauce with vegetables and potatoes. We also ordered a side of truffled mac n cheese. It was absolutely amazing. Sunday lunch was probably the best I've ever eaten as a pub dining experience and I've eaten a fair few in my 59 years. We opted for the 3 meat version of beef, pork and turkey. The vegetable selection was interesting and perfectly cooked. The giant yorkshire pudding was delicious but for me, the roast potatoes and gravy were the jewels in the very large crown. There was no room for pudding but on our evening visit, we did share the amaretto chocolate torte, which was fantastic 😀. For the quality and portion sizes, I would say The Pityme Inn is excellent value for money.
