Smash em in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Stopped on route home, did not expect much but it was excellent. Pulled pork nacho according to daughter were delicious, jalapeños were a little little bit spicy. Hulk burger was rated 2nd best burger by my son, who lives for burger, only Honest Burger in Brighton was better according to him, this is a high accolade. I do have to agree my double cheese smash burger was lovely, and chips were Season to perfection. Do yourself a favour and visit this place, you’re not going to regret it. 2 burgers, 1 pulled pork nachos and chips all round was about £37. Food is cooked to order so do not expect a drive through experience like Maccies etc

My friends and I stayed in Looe for a week in the caravan site, smash em was absolutely delicious and on site so really handy. I had the cheese bacon fries & a single burger and was honestly delicious. Will be back when we come back to sallys caravan ❤️‍🔥

Great burgers and breakfast meals. Live locally and been a few times now. Better value than anything equivalent in Looe Worth a visit if in the area or on holiday

We Had a few meals this week and always enjoy their food I’m not a burger fan but had a go and must say it was fantastic my wife had the dirty fries and found them very good also I find the couple that run it are brilliant with us and I think their prices are very good for the quality of their products

Awesome food, Great service. Great value as they had an offer at the time. Cooked and smashed as you wait. We will definitely be returning this summer.

We love this place, the owners are so friendly, and great to talk to while they are cooking your food, and the burgers are amazing have to admit the best we have had!!

This is our 2nd visit to West Wayland this year and by far the breakfast and the dinners from Smash ems are outstanding An egg and bacon breakfast roll is top quality but in the evening a cheesy smash em and cheesy chips is out of this world! so good we have driven here while staying at a different holiday park. Everything on the menu from fish and chips right through is outstanding, and run by a lovely couple 10 out of 10

I cannot recommend this place enough! If you want the best burgers around, then RUN, don’t walk to this place! Elite

Well where shall I start ...with the burgers,the are with a doubt the best burgers in and around looe I've been to another smash burger place and it is rubbish compared to this place staff are very pleasant and food is freshly made chips are freshly cooked and the food is woth every penny of the price can't fault it at all.. all the family love it its our weekly go too takeaway and I can't see that changing anytime soon ....keep it up.guys ....

I can honestly say this is the best fish and chip meal I've had in along time. The fish was very fresh, lightly battered and fried to be crispy but not overly done. The chips and mushy peas were good too. We'll definitely be back to try the burgers

We had the hulk burgers last night, with extra onion rings and mushrooms. It was all so delicious. I like that the van is totally visible, so we can see them cooking etc. nothing is hidden. Everything is made fresh. The burgers are also fresh and not some frozen rubbish. I have never had such a delicious burger. It was fresh, delicious, hot, the chips were perfectly cooked and lovely with the skins on. Even the boxes and the foil the food is in, is quality. It keeps the food really hot and doesn’t break easily. We are on holiday at the camp site but also live fairly locally, so I know we will be coming back for more even when back home.

Well all I can say is food and service is fantastic I’ve been coming for a few years and never used the van until now they have even changed our breakfast habits with their lovely pancakes also had the fish burger and their triple big burger all cooked to perfection the new owners are hardworking fun couple that care what they produce and the van is bright clean and we can’t wait till next year to come back

Holy. Guacamole. Every year we get chips from here to go with the food we cook at the tent. It’s always been absolutely acceptable but nothing special. Today, we arrived on holiday and went to get our annual chips and were excited to see it had been taken over. We weren’t sure what to expect so we got two plain chips and one with a Cajun spice rub for four adults and 2 children. We have just finished our meal and I’m already thinking about the next time we can get some! I will definitely be back to try the smash burgers and the kids spotted pancakes for breakfast so that is now on the holiday list, too. The couple that own it are so lovely - we had a great chat about how it came about, and they recommended some other places to eat locally. We’ll be back and we’ll be telling all our friends!
