The best place ever to get an amazing drink,we had coffee and hot chocolate in hand made mugs. The mugs that were used were for sale so we bought a couple and also bought fresh cheeses and sausages. All were top quality and enjoyed Definitely worth the experience x

This is an excellent cafe and vendor of local produce. Lovely seating area near the sea. The owner couldn’t be nicer and the choices of coffees, teas, cakes and pasties are perfect for a visit. Now licenced to sell alcoholic beverages means that you can enjoy your favourite tipple in the sunshine with friends or family.

Flustered owner, who chased my friend away who had a small puppy because the dog was excited and barking....I do not recommend this apparent 'dog friendly' "Shack"

Award-winning, melt-in-the-mouth Cornish pasties, giant scotch eggs and delicious pork pies are some of the treats awaiting. Not to mention a full hot drinks menu (thick, luxurious hot chocolates were popular in our group) and plenty of sweet treats. This is a casual lunch experience, grab your treat, take a seat at one of the two tables there or wander to the benches opposite it or round the corner to watch the tide lap, or crash (which in itself is incredible to view), whilst savouring your snack. Definitely a repeatable experience!

Wow, what a welcome discovery after walking for several hours along the coastal path. Very tasty pasties (the best I had all week), delicious and fresh apple and cinnamon cake and a perfect tea. The lady that runs it was very friendly too. I can’t wait to go back and try the ginger cake next. I really envy the locals having this nearby.

This was a handy find on our short Coast Path walk from Mevagissey to Chapel Point and back. As well as tea coffee and light snacks there is also a small shop with a limited selection of essentials. My partner was also welcome to bring her tea and cake from The Shack to join me with my cider in the Rising Sun Inn right next door which I thought was a nice touch.

Gorgeous scotch eggs.the only problem was that they kept running out of them! Wish I had the recipe. Nice small place near the beach. Just what you need.

Good coffee and a lovely scotch egg. My only criticism is that the lady serving us didn’t seem too interested in, well, serving us! She didn’t get eye contact, didn’t smile and generally didn’t make us feel welcome. When we left, I shouted ‘thank you’ in front of the one other customer there, and the member of staff totally ignored me. I think The Shack has a huge amount of potential, it would just be nice to feel like our custom is appreciated.

Spending easter in Portmellon with the family and have frequently stopped at Kirsty's little shack at the bottom of the hill. Great selection of local produce, lovely cheeses for sale and always fresh cakes and great coffee from Yallah Coffee, a local roaster just around the corner in Falmouth. Service has always been impeccable and in a world which, has been ridden with Covid for years this little place really needs your love! How refreshing and amazing would it be to see all visitors fully embrace this independent and local little watering hole? The world needs more of these places but sadly people often join the keyboard warriors when things go bad rather than actually applauding it when things are incredible! If I could rate it higher I would - the coffee is much better than many places back in Oxon, and even a few London based cafes would struggle to produce anything similar to what Kirsty is producing here! Well worth a visit

Rude service. Very low hygiene. Coughed into and hands and still served food. Coffee was cold, and overpriced. Lady service was incredibly rude.

Ordered a coffee, £2.50 for a tiny cup, gave me hot milk, i said it needs coffee, she put it in and asked for another £2, i wouldn't pay so she took the cup and wouldn't give me my 2.50 back. Needs to be careful she doesn't mess with the wrong person. Really unhygienic

Just read Freshone 2021 review. Thought my partner had joined Facebook & written this. We had exactly the same experience. We completely echo your comments. What an extremely rude young woman who really needs to take stock of herself. We, needless to say also left without purchasing anything.

The staff were very friendly. The hot drinks were alright and the cakes were alright. They didn't rush us. The whole atmosphere was really nice and lovely. I didn't have to raise my voice to speak to my boyfriend who has a hearing impairment which is a hearing aid.

We were on holiday and ended up eating here 3 times. We had our dog who typically was nervous in eating places so we never bothered eating out, we were given a table in the corner and asked for the same one every time which they obliged as she was settled, it helped that the staff were all so helpful and the food was so nice, would highly recommend the Pityme Inn and we will visit again, it made our holiday
