The best restaurants in Bristol, City of South West

Horrible service, if you wanna call it a service . Ordered coffee using qr code scanner provided at the table . Half a hour later , still nothing . Walked to the bar area to check , two people behind the bar , completely ignoring me , left me waiting . Managed to stop someone passing by the bar , showed them my order on the phone from now 35 min ago , they seemed confused and just walked away behind the bar , no apology, no explanation , just started making coffee.

Casamia may be closed permanently but I think it's important to get this off my chest. They contacted us months ago informing us they would have to cancel our table as we were booked in on their last ever service intended for friends and family only, but when they heard we were to be married the day prior and it was part of our mini-moon they went above and beyond and invited us regardless. When we arrived Joe had clocked us coming and extended a very warm welcome. He clearly loves his craft and has the charisma for it. We were taken to our seats by Amy and Aisha who were lovely and kept us at ease. The entire place oozed cool but regardless we never felt out of place. All the FOH team, Sommelier and chefs were kind, funny and made the entire evening special for me and my wife. The food was obviously incredible, 20 courses each competing with eachother for the best but all wonderful. The icing on the cake was the wine flight which was a gift from the restaurant. Every glass had a story and it all tasted phenomenal. The guy really knew his stuff. We both wish every success to all the team with whatever lies next and a big thank you for what became the highlight of our honeymoon! Congrats Amy & Joe we hope the wedding is a laugh! Gorgeous old pub with snug and beer garden. A lot of university traffic and really old world. One of the best in Bristol.

The food was absolutely stunning and the staff are lovely. Would recommend this place to everyone!

I am so disappointed and I don't write this review lightly. We were holding an event and ordered some pizzas a few hours before it went ahead. Whilst the pizzas were being made we were told that GF was not available. It was not made clear that whilst it was not available that our order was on hold. Our pizzas ended up being 1.5-2 hours late and to apologise, they gave us a voucher for a free dip. When the food arrived none of it was labelled - some were vegan, some were vegetarian and one was meat. We had to try and figure out which was vegan and when we asked were told 'the vegan one has cubed cheese'. It was almost impossible to tell to a point where one of our vegan guests ate a pizza with dairy. I am extremely disappointed.

It is a solid choice to enjoy this vibrant city. The Hotel Leonardo Bristol City is a recommended option if you are looking for comfort and good value for money in the center of Bristol. Its location is one of its biggest attractions, as it allows easy access to attractions such as the Bristol Museum of Art and the Clifton neighborhood, as well as being close to the train station. The rooms are modern and functional, although not very spacious, they offer everything you need for a pleasant stay, including air conditioning and impeccable cleanliness. Additional amenities, such as the gym and free Wi-Fi, are a plus that enhances the experience. Customer service stands out for being friendly and professional; the staff is always ready to help. As for the price, although it is not the cheapest, the quality of the service and the excellent location justify the investment.

Visted Mezzaluna for the first time with family for a Birthday meal. Lamb dish was delicious, chicken wings and cheesy garlic bread was excellent! The team are extremely friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our visit was a special one! Highly recommend for those special occasions 5*

Incredible jerk pork, jerk chicken and curry goat, have tried everywhere in Bristol and this is by far the best Jamaican food! Festivals were fresh, sweet, light and fluffy…only thing that would make it even better is serving steam veg with the meal- could be personal preference of mine. Tuesday evening so atmosphere was not so great, but I don’t put this down to fault of the business.

Food was absolutely amazing! We had the seafood boil and there was so much would easy serve 3 with chip and/or bread we struggled to finish it! Couldn’t complain about anything! Lots to choose from and even a specials board! Cute cosy restaurant and can’t wait to return!

Been there twice now when it says it’s open and it’s closed. Looks closed down.

We had a really good dinner at Souk Kitchen, it surpassed our expectations. We ordered most things on the menu between the 4 of us (I think we just didnt order 2 of the mains) and it was enough, perhaps we were 1 dish too much. Good service. Quite pricey but it was a special occasion.
