The hotel was mostly clean and the staff were as helpful as they could be, just let down by the 'system'. Unfortunately, the good stuff was overshadowed by the bad stuff. Good stuff: great location, looks new, clean and has well decorated rooms and bathrooms. Bad stuff: booked 3 rooms and got one email confirmation, but got charged multiple times for a total of 10 rooms! As you can imagine, that's a lot of cash to fork out on your birthday weekend that was intended for more interesting activities. Had to chase several times to find out what was going on - who knows if they would ever have rectified their error without us complaining - then had to wait a week to get it paid back - no compensation offered for the inconvenience of their error (hence only 1 star for the combined staff and 'system' service). The material sofas in the foyer were stained (with water, hopefully) and looked 2nd hand, the hotel bar options weren't good (are they ever?) and the bedside stand was clearly broken and hanging off the wall at an angle that meant most things slid off it (hence only 4 stars for rooms). Would I stay there again? Undecided... Hotel looked nice, the staff were good, the rooms were good and the hotel is conveniently located, but am I willing to gamble getting charged over 3 times the booking value again? Obviously, that won't happen every time, but it does happen!

If you are looking for a well-located and reliable hotel in Bristol, the Leonardo Bristol City more than meets the requirements without falling into excesses of luxury. It is a solid choice to enjoy this vibrant city. The Hotel Leonardo Bristol City is a recommended option if you are looking for comfort and good value for money in the center of Bristol. Its location is one of its biggest attractions, as it allows easy access to attractions such as the Bristol Museum of Art and the Clifton neighborhood, as well as being close to the train station. The rooms are modern and functional, although not very spacious, they offer everything you need for a pleasant stay, including air conditioning and impeccable cleanliness. Additional amenities, such as the gym and free Wi-Fi, are a plus that enhances the experience. Customer service stands out for being friendly and professional; the staff is always ready to help. As for the price, although it is not the cheapest, the quality of the service and the excellent location justify the investment.

This is a really nice hotel! The staff is so friendly and smiley. The rooms are very new and clean and the beds are super comfy. The restaurant has a very quiet and nice atmosphere, we've been served by Tatjana and her colleague (who I didn't catch his name) on Friday 15th evening and they were so friendly with us. The reception team is really helpful and they provide an excellent service. Unfortunately I didn't get any names so thank you all for making our stay a wonderful time !

I have been coming to the Leo since I started at my job in November of last year. I come here 3 weeks of every month. As I am a sucker for good customer service, I like to feel at home when I go to a hotel that is effectively, my second home due to the time I spend there. Tonight, I arrived, weary from the long and delayed train journey but happy to come back. The bar manager, Mikey was on tonight and I gave my usual warm welcome but he still hasn't made the effort to know my name. "Hi mate". A reminder that I have been here at least 10 of the last 15 weeks. I sat at the bar as the staff are very nice and enjoy a little banter and chat while I eat my dinner. I asked for my wine I always order which is a reasonable Spanish red and the house offering. They didn't have the wine so I had to pick the next one up on the list which isn't my favorite but thought I'd try it. I asked the server if I could get a discount as it was 20% higher in cost and given it wasn't my choice, I thought they would see the logic. The server said he would ask Mikey. When it came time to pay the tab, I saw I was charged full price. When I asked Mikey if he would help a little, it was an abrupt, "sorry mate". The location is perfect and breakfast is very good. Most of the staff are friendly and welcoming but the fact this kid couldn't shave a couple pounds off the wine is a matter of principle and personality. #really? #bigpicture #honestly?

Top quality service at this hotel. Amazing food, super friendly staff and it even has a little gym! Only negative for me is that parking is a 5 minute walk away.

The bar staff I can only give 5 stars as they worked incredibly hard. The pint of Gem also gets 5 stars... so why a 4 star rating? Because the place is full of Student Grants (if you're old enough to remember Viz when it was funny) and unfortunately they're 2024 versions, so they're very self-entitled. Apart from that, a nice place.

Shame it's closed now, the best beer in town, IMHO.

Best dirty chai latte I've ever had, and my girlfriend's americano was really smooth and tasty.

We've lived in Knowle for a couple of years and not yet tried this place. Decided to give it a go and we weren't disappointed. We had a selection of about 6 dishes including Crispy Duck Pancakes, Prawns with Cashew nuts, Noodles with Beef & Peppers in Black Bean Sauce, Special Chop Suey, Stir Fried Mixed Veg, Egg Fried Rice and Prawn Crackers. All the dishes were hot, fresh, and generous sized portions. The Prawn Crackers were super crispy. And they threw in a free portion of popcorn chicken too. Overall I'd say the quality is very good and we easily fed four people for £45 all in so great value. I'll definitely eat from here again.
