Shame it's closed now, the best beer in town, IMHO.

Lovely ales! There was a local roots soundsystem too when I visited.

Great tunes from the bar, it's a brewery so does that industrial vibe really well! Lovely beer, had a pint of their stout, delicious, only £4. All beer locally sourced and vegan! Plenty of space.

Loud intrusive music destroyed the atmosphere.

I visited Dawkins as part of my trek along the East Bristol Brewery Trail and was really impressed by the venue. My mate and I were met at the bar by one of the brewers who happily took us through the range, giving us a few tastes and helping us choose our favourites. The place is well-established and quirky - there's a pool table perfectly positioned in among the brewing kit and I wish we'd had a chance to play. Definitely recommend.

Horrendously rude and condescending staff! Twice we have been spoken to in a way I wouldn't talk to a dog. Had I spoken to customers like that when I was working in a pub I would have lost my job on the spot. If you struggle with your mental health and have anxiety (or if you simply just like being treated like a human being) avoid this place like the plague.

They have really good beer and a table tennis table, what more do you need.

Supplied some 'bright' beers for my party. Everyone got very drunk and had a good time.

Arrived at 8:10pm Friday 27th July and the tap room was all locked up - check before making the trip!

Great little brewery tucked away at the back of a trading estate. The tap bar serves their range of real ales and cask beers in simple surroundings in the main building.

Terrible service, very rude staff. Made a sarcastic negative remark to my dislestic friend who obviously couldn't read the menu. 15 people who will never come here again. Shocking.

Open as part of the east Bristol brewery trail, slightly disappointing beer, although they have a huge selection. Could do with concentrating on a narrower core range of beers done well.
