Great staff and venue, quite quiet when we were there but that was fine. Tasty food, we ordered the platter for 2 which was amazing but it defeated us

My daughter wanted to take me to her favorite restaurant, I can see why, there was a good selection of food and dishes I've never tried before, we had a selection of meat and vegetarian dishes all very tasty and served fresh and hot, reasonably priced, so I'd definitely recommend you give it a try.

The lamb and beef skewers were really very good. Some of the 8 starters as well. Be sure to include them, these are just small bites.

I really like Lebanese food, and when you've been in the UK for a few days, the cooking with olive oil is appreciated, it's great, the service is good, the place is a little overwhelming, but it's worth it

A great value for money and quality for money place, on an unexpected underground restaurant. We had the Mezze set menu and everything was delicious. Hommous, spicy potato (the best), falafel, lamb meatballs, salad, calamari, vine leaves, meat filo pastry. We had the lamb shank as main. Finished with coffee & baklava.

Love the food and also the whole experience - the restaurant is cozy and there's always a good buzz. The only thing is sometimes you'll have lots of waiters coming to check in with you and sometimes you'll wait for half an hour.

Fantastic place a little tucked away in Bristol city centre so feels like a great find when you find out it's a cellar with a lovely warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food. They have a very varied menu with many options for meateaters and veggies, alongside a large drinks menu which includes Lebanese drinks. As far as I'm aware, the food is authentic, and it's delicious. The portion sizes are also very generous, which is great value for money.

The food was excellent 👌 The food quality to price ratio was very good. We got the lunch deal (9.99£) and it was a good amount of food for the price. Very polite service. It was a quite hidden and a bit dungeon-y, but don't let that distract from the good food. Would recommend.

The food was average - some dishes better than others. Some of the sides ordered as a platter were not eating fresh (e.g. meat spring rolls). The prices were slightly on the higher side for what the food quality is. Would probably have to think hard before coming here again to be honest!

Absolutely amazing food! Me and my girlfriend shared four mezze and had just enough, although we are comparatively small eaters. Atmosphere is great and so is staff!

A fantastic dinner choice with a variety of really delicious vegan options. Staff were very attentive and friendly. It was comforting to see that our server was very aware and knowledgeable of our vegan requirements. My only feedback was that I felt after seeing some of the dishes, a few seemed a bit overpriced for what we actually received, and some plates were a little on the smaller side but we had 6 between 2 of us and left with full stomachs. I’d say that Fava beans was my favourite dish!

Lovely little place on small street in the city centre. Food was delicious and staff were very attentive.

This restaurant communicated well after our booking for 10 people. We were seated quickly and our drinks orders were taken within 15 mins of sitting down. The restaurant looked to be at capacity so we were surprised how soon our orders came. However, one of our party had to wait for theirs hence the 4* review.

Definitely wasn't traditional Lebanese food, it was more of an Indian! The Kofta was basically not Kofta. The rice is not even close to Arab/Lebanese way of cooking. The tabula, was not even lose to the very famous Lebanese tabula. The sauces were an Indian taste. We were so confused then we asked if the chef is Arab/Lebanese because for sure the food has nothing to do with Lebanese’s kitchen. We believe that it was a Lebanese restaurant before because all the photos and pictures were from places in Lebanon. We assumed that this one with the one above are own by an indian investor. Not sure why the owner need to miss lead the customers 🤔

Dirty restaurant. The rice was old and hard and 99% of the mezze we had was most certainly frozen and tasteless. We ate because we were hungry. Left restaurant feeling very disappointed. 3 members of our group (including myself) woke up the next morning with our stomachs doing somersaults,and spent half the day running back and forth to the toilet. Absolutely do not eat here! Filthy restaurant and below par food that made us very poorly. Waiters were friendly but it didn't make up for the experience we had...overall not good enough

Tucked away it has a very intimate atmosphere and all the food is delicious and well proportioned.

I really hoped from some Lebanese food taste, but sadly, it was kinda of tasteless food. I was pretty disappointed. But the service was good.

Great service, friendly staff, flavourful food, got served quickly. Only things I would say is that I had no signal in the restaurant (because its underground) and they could do better with the presentation of their food. I did leave happy and full though.

Such good ambience tucked in one little magical corner! I went after a busy day at work and it was the best decision I made. Food was amazing. They served me chicken kadhai which was not on menu and didn’t charge me for it. ( I suggested they should add it, its mind blowing) Generous and lovely staff. I would definitely take my friends along next time!

A bit pricey, however would say the price is worth the taste. The grilled chicken and lamb were cooked perfectly to go with some rice and garlic mint sauce.

Nice location. Definitely wasn't traditional Lebanese food, it was more of an Indian/Lebanese fusion! The mixed grill was basically an Indian starter with rice. The garlic sauce was more like an Indian raita. There is an Indian restaurant above so I'm assuming the owner owns both. We asked twice if we would get bread with our meal and none arrived. Small portions for the price and nearly £6 for a small bottle of beer is outrageous. Not sure how the customers believe this is Lebanese food 🤔

Very good service and even better food. Great to see an amazing halal restaurant in the heart of Bristol. Serving a variety of food and drink, the sharers are impeccable and each item is delicious. The staff and very friendly and the place itself is a lovely calm atmosphere.

Wonderful little restaurant! Two of us went on a Tuesday afternoon and shared some of the mezze dishes. Everything was delicious, loved every dish. The filo cheese was my favourite. The staff are very helpful and polite. The decor is nice too!

I visited resturent today with family i order grilled lamb chops main course and chicken cubes starter the grilled lamb chops was ammazing as well as the chicken cubes was very juicey overall the food was 10/10

Stuffy space but super tasty food

Unfortunately, I ordered whole farouj mashwe ( whole grilled chicken) through delivero and It was the Worset choice in my life..small not cooked very well and add to this seems it is not fresh ...the tabular was not fresh and the rice as well ..not recommended for delivery

Unhygienic place, staff not helpful and food not cooked properly. Chicken smelled and appeared to have been cooked days before and microwave heated. Awful place don’t go.

The ambience and staff is beyond words. They are really good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative is the quantity of food. The portion is small and is not enough for a person.

Interesting setting, quite atmospheric but noisy sitting in the middle. No WiFi or data which is just a mild inconvenience. The spicy lamb sausage was very nicely seasoned and the portion size was reasonable but it could really have used some kind of staple, like rice or potatoes, spice on its own can be too much. The heat, if you ask for it to be spicy, was reasonable. I wasn't crazy about the texture of the sausage but that's normally just how lamb sausages are. I had a bit of the vegetable samosa and that was good too but could easily be mistaken for shop bought. The mixed grill was pretty delicious. I much preferred the chicken to the lamb. The meat was not dry and it was a bit smoky and very nicely spiced. The sauce below was especially good. The rice was fine, well seasoned. What it REALLY could have done with was a SALAD. It would have really elevated it. The manga juice was good, maybe a touch pricey at 4.99 but I believe it was fresh.

The table and plates look very cheap in comparaison with the price it was better 5 years a go

Totally avoid. we spent 68£ and went home hungry, the portion's size is ridiculously small we ordered mix grill which it wasnt mix at all 2 pieces of kebab and 2 pieces of chicken bites nothing else its like sample plate to taste the food. The 2nd order was literally a rip off the chopped meat one was simply fat and bone my son couldnt swallow it and he had to spit it out cuz it was chewy and completely disgusting.Overally it was a horrible experience and If you want to flush your money down the drain visit this place.

There is nothing to dislike about Beirut Mezze. The food is exceptional; fresh, flavoursome and comes out really quickly. The staff are so friendly and the service can’t be faulted.

Things liked: Humous and Babaganoush was dope 👌🏽 Problems: We ordered Falafels, which came on a plate with nothing else. Usually Falafels come with garnish and basic salad. The restaurant was a bit too dark for our taste.

Our first time eating Lebanese food and we loved it!! The waitress, after we'd told her it was our first time, explained the dishes we'd ordered and how to eat them. There was no rush between courses so we could relax and enjoy the whole experience. Very enjoyable service. Highly recommend Beirut Mezze.

Waiting to long for the food ordered, the food look like a fast food not like in restaurant, the meniu course is to expensive what they provide, I been waiting one hour for the food, very busy and noise restaurant, food doesn’t like freshly. They are not bringing at the table what you told them. Bad customer service needs improvement. Asked 2 waitresses to bring the same lime or lemon and they did not bring any till we were there. Also, the smell of the restaurant is bad, stinks, the smell of the food. The owner should change the carpet or was when needed. Is No signal in restaurant

Very friendly staff and really delicious food! Vegetarian,vegan and meaty options are served very nicely. We went for a meal deal for two, which comes with starters and a meal. I thought we were hungry enough to eat it all, but I was wrong. Great meal for good value for money. Will definitely visit again!

What a delightful restaurant. Went here for some food whilst on a work trip as recommended by a colleague. Website does not do them justice! Menu was much bigger than suggested on the website. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options available. Staff were friendly and welcoming, quite a dark restaurant but was packed when we arrived. Hummus was really good with some fresh bread.

Incredible food. The £9.99 Lunch Menu has to be by far one of the best value for money lunches you can buy in Bristol City Centre!! Everything is really well flavoured and it's the perfect amount of food for one for Lunch!! Can't wait to try other dishes here 💕

The veggie platter and tabouleh was leng

Ordered the platter of starters, chicken cubes, and kellaj. Loved everything except the grilled chicken wings that came with the platter. It was very evident from the taste of the wings that it was not cooked the same day and was merely being served after re-heating. The service was great and we were able to get a seat without prior booking (didn't get any confirmation text when we did try booking before turning up).

Ordered the main meal platter and probably the best option, as nothing really stands out as being a decent satisfying main. The bread they give you for the hummus turns into a cracker if you don't eat it straight away. I love chicken wings and these were below standard with no flavour other than charcoal, are they marinated before cooking...? The venue is pretty ideal, although the music they played sounded like it was coming through the wall. Luckily the staff are very accommodating and replaced the drinks knocked off the table without hesitation. Staff - 10 Venue - 8 if the music wasn't playing Food - 5. Chicken and the hummus was really nice. Lamb chops shouldn't be messed up like that. Roll on BBQ weather to get the kamado and Weber out.

Food is ok but worth noting that this isn’t authentic Lebanese cuisine. It’s made by the Indian/Bengladeshi staff upstairs.

The place is great for an affordable lunch in Bristol. The portion sizes for the set meal were smaller than before covid but still very tasty and filling. One thing i missed was the arabic style rice with minced lamb (for the main course in the £10 lunch set meal). The rice served when we went was tasty (it tasted more indian than Lebanese somehow) and the meat was very soft and tender. Also you should go here if you crave authentic baklawa.

An absolute gem of a restaurant! I treated a friend to dinner at Beirut Meze last night and she was just as blown away as I was the first time I visited. It's wonderfully atmospheric and the staff are chilled and friendly. And the food? Out of this world! I can't wait to go back!!

Nice restaurant under the ground. Do not count on internet as they do not have mobile signal reaching there nor wireless internet access. Food was fine and dessert as well. A little too dark place for my taste. Service was good, we were a large group and they managed to accommodate us in relatively decent time frame.

Went on Sunday lunchtime, wasn't that busy, in cellar downstairs. Had lunch special which was incredibly good value.
