Lovely old building selling good real ale. Inside the ceilings are adorned with beer tags, a very old style interior that was once a shop.outside is a lovely beer garden providing seating areas for all who enjoy outside drinking.

Had my first visit to this quaint little oasis in the centre of such a busy city. The garden was beautiful on the summer evening with all the twinkling lights and beautiful smelling flowers. The prices are very reasonable with a big selection of local ales on offer.

Real nice pub with a great history, a great atmosphere and an awesome bunch of staff in my opinion it's the nicest little boozer in Bristol.

Still a great real ale pub tucked away near the old fire station. Has a large beer garden for whenever summer arrives. Highly recommend as this place hasn't gone downhill like sadly some of the other real ale pubs nearby. A real gem

A proper pub with an attractive garden. A good selection of well kept beers. Bonus - pork pies and scotch eggs with accompanying pickles from the pickle rack. Just had to stay for more than one!!!

Bloody brilliant real ale and cider

Plenty of ales....busy busy busy and popular of course. Worth seeking out. Use it or lose it. This pub is under threat !

Very warm cosy pub, friendly regulars and a good selection of well priced cask ales. I have to be honest and say I was unfortunately let down by the service when I visited. Young lady behind the bar was rude. The next gent that served me was very cold too, some grunts is all I heard when being served. When putting the card machine in front of me (display out of sight, so couldn't see price) did not say how much the drink cost. Would understand if busy but it was quiet.

I feel like I should write a short poem, but this place is exceptional. Top notch service, friendly staff, and Niall couldn’t be more friendly.

I was lost for words when trying to choose from the proper ales/ciders/or lagers. A very warm welcome. I won't be staying away for such a long time as my last period of absence!!!!

Great little pub in the tradition of real pubs. Visited here to catch up with friends in an atmosphere where you can hear each other. Bar staff were great too. Check the ceiling for an incredible array of beer mats.

Found this pub after Googling real ale pubs - what a great find! A proper old style establishment serving a good selection of ales. Had a lovely afternoon and the Manager, Niall was a great host. Will definitely return.

At a conference and wanted a decent pint. Looked online. Found it (though managed to miss it on first pass!) and had top beer. 🍻

Good ever changing range of Real Ales and Bar Snacks

This is a delightful find and my favourite pub near Bristol Temple Meads station. Tucked away from a busy street, the pub garden is full of colourful lighting and bordered with a wide variety of foliage. The staff are super friendly and the inside is as cosy as the folks behind the bar. With the size of the place, it's not surprising that accessibility is an issue but it does mean I can't give 5*. This is a proper gem and, if you're heading into the centre from the station, make sure you drop by for a drop or two!

What a precious survival! Great old fashioned watering hole hidden away behind Bristol's 21st C. high-rise. Characterful interior and pleasant garden (which the gremlins are after... Just Say No!) A real gem for real ale types with an ever changing selection of interesting and well kept ales. We must fight to keep pubs like this. Long live the Cornubia!!

Spot on for beer choice this little gem is a class act

I've not tried the food, so I can't rate it. Well kept beer with a changing variety. Friendly service, making strangers feel welcome. A hidden gem that can be tricky to find the first time, nestled between high rise buildings and developing sites. They have a well kept outside space, at least doubling their capacity in fair weather. Some of the space is tented to keep the odd shower away.

Very quaint pub staff very friendly would recommend sadly no parking. You can park on the main road for free with a Blue Badge, then walk around the office building to the pub

A very good traditional pub. It's in the only building left of what was once a terrace and is now surrounded by far more modern buildings. Pies for lunch and a good range of beers. The garden is extensive.

one of my favourite pubs in this area, there’s loads of choice for ales and ciders and i always end up meeting the nicest people. reasonably priced (£4 for the cornubia 50 ale) and huge outdoor space! it’s a bit secluded off the main road but make sure you take a detour to go here!
