Pizzarova in Bristol, City of

I am so disappointed and I don't write this review lightly. We were holding an event and ordered some pizzas a few hours before it went ahead. Whilst the pizzas were being made we were told that GF was not available. It was not made clear that whilst it was not available that our order was on hold. Our pizzas ended up being 1.5-2 hours late and to apologise, they gave us a voucher for a free dip. When the food arrived none of it was labelled - some were vegan, some were vegetarian and one was meat. We had to try and figure out which was vegan and when we asked were told 'the vegan one has cubed cheese'. It was almost impossible to tell to a point where one of our vegan guests ate a pizza with dairy. I am extremely disappointed.

Great pizza and restaurant as a whole. I would say, however, that sitting us right next to the toilet (which produced a smell every time the door was opened) was not pleasant. Surely, a toilet should be upstairs or not near the customers.

I can’t fault the pizza I had once it arrived - but the wait and the communication about it just wasn’t good enough. It took 30 minutes to arrive without any prior warning. After waiting for 20 minutes I asked someone what had happened to it who looked surprised and said she’d find out (and never came back to tell me). The food’s good and the staff are friendly enough but it doesn’t take much to communicate properly with your customers. It wasn’t the first time this has happened either.

So good!! We split a smoked chicken pizza and it was fantastic. Loved the chicken and pesto flavors. Definitely recommend Pizzarova. Service was also great and the restaurant had a fun aesthetic.

so good! margarita pizza was perfectly flavourful with the tomato sauce and cheese pairing, very well done and fragrant. we added chorizo for extra flavour and it was a great choice! garlic bread is 6.5£ but a huge portion, love this spot and will be back

Very dirty place ever I have seen in my life, waiters hands are dirty I asked to clean the table and he cleand by his hands very fishy smell there do not go there because of dirty waiters not because of food ,, food was good but seeing dirty waiters I didnt feel good to eat

Eaten in twice, delivered once. Absolutely S teir pizza, delicious. Good service and staff. Tiny bit pricey for what I'm used to but feels worth it for the quality. On uber eats the deal for 2 says 33 pounds but came out closer to 40, not sure what thats about.

Truly the best pizza in Bristol! I have been to Pizzarova on multiple occasions now - eat in, takeaway, and delivery - and it’s never missed. The pizza is delicious, their gluten free option is one of the best I’ve ever had, and their selection of toppings is great. I will keep going to Pizzarova not only because of the food but also the staff. They’re so friendly and make the restaurant a really nice vibe. Great value for money. Great quality ingredients. Love the dips too - my fave is the garlic mayo.

We stumbled across this pizza place looking for brunch and I'm very glad we found it, the pizza is delicious, mouthwatering, the buratta was the same, I can't wait to go back, The only thing I'd improve is the choice of soft drinks, they only had some never heard of brand (we tried the Cola and I think lemonade) that wasn't very nice at all, Fentimans is much better but other than that absolutely 💯 recommended!

Me and my long distance partner (he is from India) have worked all around the world on cruise line and tasted many pizzas but we would say honestly this is the best in the world. He came to the uk for 3 weeks and wanted to come back here for a second time on the last day of his trip to England. Personally have been a fan for years of their food and love the decor and vibe of the place. Service has always been really good and in great location. I struggle to find pizza with enough tomato on the base (I personally love this over too much cheese) and this hits the spot! We ordered one pizza each (my partner definitely wanted one all to himself haha) of the hot honey and double chorizo but substituted some of the chorizo for red onion. 10000/10 recommend! Best ever thank you ❤️

This month’s special (+ chicken) is absolutely sublime. The best handmade sourdough I’ve tried to date. The staff are exemplary and help cement friendliness, good vibes and professionalism. A++++++

We had a bit of a nightmare here when visiting, after we mis-ordered, then my partner slipped over - The team could not do enough to put things right despite it not being their fault - Going miles out of their way to make sure we were happy and my partner was okay. Not to mention the pizza was 10/10 (highly recommend the hot honey). The passion fruit ice lollies deserve a shout out too, which we unreal!

Staff are friendly, and it's a nice place to sit and watch park street. Pizza so hit and miss though, used to be my go to place and now 3/2 times it's just a bit sad, tomato sauce has lost is flavour, seems to be less cheese, and dough is thinner so you often just get entire slices of to thin wet red bread. Been like this for more than a year or so now, really hope they turn it out, love the vibe and used to love the pizza.

The dough was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, so much so that I ordered a pizza off the menu as I wanted, I'm very grateful that they did it, because it was like eating in Italy. And if I say it's good, trust me. Thanks, I'm the one in the photo. A thousand thanks

Very average pizza, nothing special about it and I’m sure there are better choices in Bristol. The staff were super friendly though and wait time was acceptable (about 15mins) considering how busy this place was.

Absolutely delicious pizza at a fair price with indoor and outdoor seating. Also available to takeaway, but I enjoyed dining in. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It is a very popular place with some unique topping combinations. The garlic mayo was the most garlicky garlic mayo I have ever had, so make sure you really love garlic if you order it. It's so garlicky that it starts to feel spicy. I enjoyed it, but be warned.

A lovey experience. Would definitely recommend. Came here for a quick bite, we were looking for pizzas sold by the slice. The staff were incredibly helpful and recommended the child pizza. The restaurant itself has an incomplete feel, the space seems a bit bare, like they are still waiting for tables/decorations but that doesn't bother me. Service was friendly and quick. The pizza itself was delicious. I got the margarita pizza. The marinara sauce was delicious, great seasoning and very flavourful. The cheese isn't my personal favourite, I prefer when I get full coverage on my pizzas but the sauce made up for it because it was tasty without the cheese. The pizza base was great! Their pizza oven was out in the open so you can watch them make it, the crust comes out airy and crunchy.

Base de tomate de calidad y queso, pero la salsa de tomate era tibia como si no se calentó durante el tiempo suficiente. Era una Margarita así que no hay grandes expectativas, pero me hubiera gustado más de tres hojas de albahaca! Es tan barato ¿por qué no dispersarlo por todas partes? La mayoría de las rodajas eran solo queso y tomate. Muy decepcionante. Mucha competencia local, así que les daré una oportunidad más, pero si eso no es mejor, me voy. Lo siento Pizzarova - me gusta su espíritu y vibra para comer - pero yo sólo quería una pizza caliente bien caliente caliente cubierta sabrosa! ¡Es tu especialidad!

Hectic and loud place, withstand it for 20-30 minutes and you get the best pizza in Bristol. Recommend a takeaway Honey-Chorizo - don't bother with the sauces, especially the Jalapeños jam.

Arrived with a full restaurant, looked after really nicely by one of the servers til a table was available. Ordered the double chorizo with hot honey with a chipotle dip. Absolutely amazing! 100% would come back.

Really personable service and probably the best pizza in bristol. Friday night we were able to go in as a walk-in and sat within 1-2 minutes.

Really delicious sourdough pizza! If you're planning to sit in, sit down first and then you go up to order - not that it was a problem but this was unclear when we arrived. Had the chorizo and hot honey and found it was a really good balance between chorizo, which can sometimes be overwhelming in quantity and honey, which can also sometimes be overdone.

I’ve been a loyal customer of pizzarova, but my recent visit left me disappointed. The switch from buffalo mozzarella to mozzarella pearls in Margheritta deluxe was a major letdown. Please bring buffalo mozzarella back.

Absolute must for anyone visiting Bristol! The chorizo with Honey Pizza was divine. Our pizzas arrived (quite literally) in the time from walking from the till to our seats. Amazing service, great vibes and atmosphere. Staff were all friendly, inviting and looked like they all loved what they were doing which really shows in the food.

Nice friendly staff but the speed of the service is very slow. 3 tables around us waited over 30mins for their Pizzas and my pizza took 40mins. I ordered the chicken with red onions and a pesto garlic bread. The garlic bread was the best part.

Roasted ham pizza was bland, tomotoes too sour, the dough is nice however.

Delicious flavors and beautiful crust. Full menu with lots of exciting toppings and options, as well as desserts and drinks! Right off a lovely street with tons of shops, across the street from a park with a fountain, and some Banksy artwork outside!

After viewing they're pizzas online I knew the dough would be good, they didn't disappoint...amazing sourdough pizza with great sauce and toppings...to top it off really nice people they made it a pleasure to eat in.

We decided to stop for a late lunch on our wandering exploration of Bristol, prior to visiting the Cathedral across the way... We had heard from our niece, who studies here, that the pizza's are great, so we decided upon pizza and a drink to keep us going. It wasn't that busy, but we felt as if the staff were slammed. We ordered at the bar, and paid prior to service, and I was slightly annoyed at being asked for a tip at the outset. I did, however, add one - but honestly, the "service" was not worth one. We each had our pizza, which was very nice, but my partner's ale was not the one on the menu which he'd ordered, and the cutlery was not very clean-looking. The dips which the guy who served me at the point of order had suggested didn't arrive with our food, and when we asked another waiter he passed two containers out the window to us, both with lids on... It felt almost as if we were in the way of their tasks. There was no pleasant chat, and not once did a member of staff stop and give us their full attention. Next time we're in Bristol we'll try somewhere else, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try this location yourself - the food, as I say, is pretty good and we might have just visited on an off day.

Messy tables had to be forgiven when the food arrived, warm perfected cooked pizza with a sauce you could tell had heaps of flavour and delicious cheese! Staff was nice enough to bring us some chilli flakes to go with the margarita pizza. Should’ve come back here for dinner too!

Good pizza but probably a better option for takeaway than eating in. We were sat at a bar seat along a walkway and were knocked into quite a few times by staff. After clearing our plates a member of staff came over and said ‘our time together is done now, time for you to leave’. Appreciate that they want to turn tables but I find it exceptionally rude to kick customers out. It’s not as though we were hogging the table for hours, we had not long finished eating and were finishing up our drinks, we would have left soon anyway.

Great service, grabbed a seat and ordered pizza with sides. Lovely atmosphere & very busy. Not in town to often but would highly recommend giving it a go.

This is the best pizza restaurant I have ever been to, the staff were so so friendly and helpful and the choice of pizzas was perfect. Prices are fair and the pizzas tasted incredible. I am gluten intolerant so had their gluten free base with the smoked chicken, buffalo hot sauce, and Parmesan - and I can’t stop thinking about it as it’s the best pizza I have had in my 3 years of not having gluten. The fact they actually fire it in their wood fired pizza oven is a huge factor in this and this really made me so happy and truly made the pizza so good. The toppings and sauces are great and everyone’s pizzas looked incredible. Every single member of staff was so helpful and we felt so welcome. Thank you Pizzarova!

The pizza served here is light and perfectly baked. The tomato sauce is really flavorful, and the vegan mozzarella melts so good. The local’s vibe was great. Possibly the best pizza in Bristol.

Excellent pizza - had double chorizo with hot honey, vegan nduja dip, nice place for a Sunday afternnoon snack. Update - the margarita deluxe is pretty good too😉

best pizza that i ever did have

Visited pizza robs the other day with my family. Was very impressed by its layout and the staff were excellent! Indy and obi we very kind and helpful with a charming manor ! Will definitely visit again!

5/10 for the food, the dough was uncooked, burnt charcoal taste left a long lasting aftertaste. Also there are 2 tables right next to the toilet..... I personally wouldn't recommend and had better pizza and bigger for less. Don't understand the hype.

You will not find a better pizza in Bristol, I was never into sourdough pizza's until i discovered Pizzarova! No booking required just turn up and they will find a space for you! A nice laid back restaurant atmosphere The ingredients are all locally sourced and you can add your own toppings for a little extra! Perfect!

Basic room, not particularly comfortable but the pizza was excellent, if a little expensive. Staff were ok, I would hope for better service at this price.

Delicious chorizo and honey pizza

The pizza here is light and cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce is incredibly seasoned and you can taste the mozzarella is fresh. Will not get many pizzas better than this outside of Italy!

Sorry guys, had a pretty bad experience eating in :( Firstly the table layout means we had to squeeze in between two groups of people because it was too busy for our own table, which I guess the restaurant can't help but it just felt incredibly awkward to be seated in this way. Drinks were expensive! £6 for a tinny! Once I had ordered we were waiting for 35+ minutes for food. I had to ask where our order was and it turns out it had got lost somehow. But ultimately, the people that were sat next to us who had arrived after us had received their starters and mains and finished their food by the time ours arrived, which was pretty frustrating especially as I was very hangry by this point. Staff were kind of sympathetic and friendly but didn't really seem like they genuinely cared that much tbh. They did give us a free drink but at that point it felt like I needed more than that to make it right. The pizza was nice, probably not worth the 40 min wait though. Overall it felt like a very disorganised and chaotic experience, and I was very disappointed at the service received, insult to injury as I tipped extra beforehand!

Pizza is great, always had friendly service (never had an issue over probably 10+ visits), beers from Bristol breweries, decent prices. Their monthly specials are normally absolutely banging too. Also - consistency is very good given that restraunts will naturally have a fair amount of staff turn over. A better hand drier in the toilet would make this place perfection - it's the only negative thing.

We order a lot of take out from (and have a fair few pizzas in) pizzarova and they’re always amazing quality (cheese pulls for days!) Recently Uber eats destroyed our pizzas on delivery close to the end of closing time and they reached out to us immediately when seeing online and helped us get to a store to pick up replacements before they stopped taking orders (10mins!) I cannot stress how good the service received tonight was and realistically always is at each of the sites we have visited.

The pizza is excellent but I was disappointed by having to orde at the til. I was expecting table service considering the price of the pizzas. They aren't cheap, but worth the price for the quality and freshness. The drinks selection could be better for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I like that you can see the chefs preparing the food in the open kitchen but no chips or wedges on offer! I was disappointed by this but overall, it was an enjoyable experience. I would go back again.

Nice but small place. Hard to get a seat, especially in the winter. Pizza is very good but it’s the traditional soggy UK style.

We visited the Whiteladies road branch yesterday. The pizza is fantastic one of the best Ive had. The staff are lovely and friendly. However it is a shame that you are charging so much for a beer. I might have paid £4 but never over £6. I just had tap water as I feel that this is a real rip off. Customers know how much they can buy a can of beer for!! Also I would have liked some chips, a cup of coffee and a pudding or ice cream afterwards. None are available. I really dislike tin plates too but the pizza is wonderful.

Very busy on a Friday evening. Not many tables in the restaurant but staff were happy to accommodate us as soon as possible (25-minute wait at around 8:30pm). Takeaway possible.

We went for a takeaway and our order was missed. To be fair to them it was very busy however someone came to us and said that it would be made immediately my money was refunded and we got free dips. Came back to the hotel room to the best take away ever.

The staff all seem like lovely people but unfortunately their ordering system fails them. Waited 40 minutes for food after ordering before giving up and leaving. Whatever it is you're doing after taking orders - sort a better system please.

Service very slow but the manager made it right. Pizza is very good so hopefully a one off. I donated the value of my meal to St Mungo’s homeless charity so good karma all round.

The food might be ok but we just waited 30 min for a table while others who got here before us get a table first. When we asked, the waitress forgot us apparently. Will never come back again.

Amazing pizza and good beers, went to the newly opened Whiteladies restaurant for the soft launch. Shared the hot honey and chorizo and the smoke chicken, hot sauce and Parmesan with a friend. Both were divine. Honestly think it’s the best pizza in Bristol, very soft and fresh dough. Great quality toppings and good local beers, their collab with New Bristol Brewery is a delicious session IPA.

The pizzas are SO GOOD. We love to get a takeaway from here. Divine. Great pizza bases too, will be back again and again

This place was great! The food was amazing. The price was good. The staff was super helpful and the total ambiance was nice. I ordered a kid pizza which was a decent size for one person. I also ordered the chipotle sauce because I love me a good dipping sauce. The pizza was very fresh tasting and nicely priced. Overall my experience here was good. I highly recommend. It’s close to one of the University of Bristol campuses and also close by the central library.
