A lovely Italian restaurant the food was fantastic and very reasonable on price. The lady who served us was very attentive and polite. Certainly recommend.

My friends and I have been here on many occasions and can genuinely say the food is outstanding as well as the hospitality...highly recommended 👌

Great service, even though restaurant was completely full. The menu contains all the Italian staples and the food was of a high standard. Across our group we had starters, pasta and pizza - all were very good. The salmon pasta was particularly good. Great little find, can't wait to go back!

If it’s Pizza you want then it’s pizza you get. Personally nothing special here but a very good standard pizza. Nothing more nothing less. Service was good, drinks come fast and they were very friendly. I didn’t think the food matched the service.

The delicious and ample portions at this friendly neighbourhood restaurant are outstanding! The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality. Every dish delights.

Came here today with my son for local Saturday lunch. Food is typical Italian fare but very well executed. Waiter was quick and friendly which was good seeing as it was quite busy for a local. Will definitely come back soon. Only negative would be for some daily specials! J

Main thing is good food & this was lush. Had a pizza 8 welcome. For the disabled. Carpeted ramp up to decking area not steep long slope under cover so out of any bad weather. . Level inside to out, no steps. Toilet for standing/seating only. Staff will assist if required. Will accommodate wheelchair users inside, i would suggest to arrange in advance to alleviate any stress. Plenty of room in decking area if inside fully booked.

VERY friendly, reminds me of the restaurants from my childhood in Italy, good solid local restaurant, nothing fancy but what there is is delicious

As always, the food, service and ambience is perfect. The chef is excellent and always produces great food. I’ve been coming here for many years and the staff are polite and helpful. I can genuinely say that they care. I’ve never been here when customers have had any complaints. They have always left happy. It’s lovely to see a family run business with love

Unfortunately after having many lovely meals here in the past our food today wasn’t up to the normal high standard, I questioned if there was a different chef on today for this reason, everything was over cooked making the meat dry and bit tough, chips were hollow and looked like they have been double fried, my starters was over swamped in olive oil, I had bruschetta so it made the ciabatta very soggy with far too many chopped up tomatoes covered in what tasted like a vinaigrette, it looked like a main meal rather than a starters, it was an Anniversary meal and thought it would be a lovely treat and left very disappointed, there was nothing Italian about how our meal was cooked and tasted and I have eaten in a lot of Italian restaurants, the waitress was lovely and very friendly but we won’t be coming back again which is a shame

Absolutely fantastic dinner experience, great service, warm welcoming. Highly recommend.

Friends (who frequent this establishment) invited us to dinner here last night. All I can say is OMG! I had Mozzarella Milanese for starter - the pieces of Mozzarella in breadcrumbs were delicious along with the separate dish of homemade tomato sauce and side salad. I had Carbonara for main - the pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce was tasty without being heavily seasoned and the bacon pieces, which there were an abundance of, were super tasty. For desert, I had Profiteroles - a beautifully decorated mound of profiteroles, cream and chocolate sauce was divine. In my opinion, the portion sizes were perfect and the prices are hugely reasonable. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We are from Weston super Mare, but we will be visiting many time in the future!

Went there for family night out dinner, the team are very friendly and welcoming especially Linda and Eddie, food is amazingly delecious and the prices are reasonable, would higly recommend.

Went here on a Friday after to work celebrate a colleague leaving work and emigrating. Starters were very nice and reasonably priced. Most of us had pizza as a main they were quite tasty and we were given boxes to take home what we couldn't finish. Drinks were expensive! £8.50 for 2 halves of lager shandy! Nice big outside area with a a roof to shelter you from wind and rain or the option to sit inside. No parking on site, but found plenty on the surrounding roads. Would return. 😃

A great midweek Italian experience with decent portion sizes.

Amazing pizza, but was blown away by customer service offered. Having come from a festival with my wife and young son, we stopped off here as we couldn’t get a taxi and our son was hungry and tired. Although it was late they welcomed us in and were great to my son. With the taxi’s not turning up the son Aldo made sure we got to our car to get home. Aldo is a credit to the family and business, we will definitely be back ASAP, as the hospitality was 1st class and we’re looking forward to trying the food!

Random pit stop enroute Wales. Can honestly say it is of the best Italian experiences me and my wife have ever had. Fresh ingredients, right mix of spices, perfect texture, served with a smile. What more can one ask for?!👌

Food was pretty poor. With a party of four and not one empty dish. The Special Pizza had uncooked peppers on it. The base needed a saw to get through it Pizza was served on an unstable stand and would have ended up on the floor. To be honest wish it had now. Service was a bit hit and miss. Not for me at all. More food went home and I understand was disposed off. Just poor all round.

We've become loyal regulars to this lovely little Italian, and always take friends and family to sample the food if they're visiting Bristol. This is a family owned restaurant, and you absolutely feel that reflected in both the food and the service. The pizza is truly phenomenal!

I would leave zero stars if I could. We had booked for two. When we arrived, there were no space. They squeezed us in the middle of two table. However, they were struggling to put the second chair. So they pushed the table towards me so they could accommodate a very small chair for my daughter who has limited physical ability in her legs. Her legs got squashed, so suddenly I saw a table that got vacant. I asked the gentleman who owns the restaurant and he said that it is okay for us to move. So we moved to better table so my daughter could sit easily. We had our drinks as well. I moved them myself since I want to help. In that moment suddenly the lady who’s name is Linda, the manager came very very angrily towards us shouting at my poor daughters and my face to move back to that tiny space. She said there are other two people that she had promised them the table (we were actually had come before those two people) .I told her that her husband said it is okay and also we had also booked beforehand. She was very hysterical and really scary, and told us that her husband is not the boss, she is the boss. When I saw my daughter shaking of anxiety, I said okay we will leave. Her husband came and told us not to. So they started shouting at each other. She said that those two were regulars and they are more important than us. He said, “this two are also regular and moreover this table is more suited for her disability “. At this moment we were actually at door to leave, Linda the manager got so furious, that I thought she would explode . She screamed “ I don’t care about her disability! Or if the booked earlier, they are not allowed to sit here “. We left, very disappointed. My poor daughter was shaking . The owner who I assume is Linda's husband came after us in the street and apologised and told us that he appreciates us as regular costumer and remembers that we have been there tons of times. I must say I do appreciate his apology and still feel sorry for him. But I think I have to stand up for a bully like Linda. I did not want to spoil dinner for poor people in restaurant so I kept a low profile and didn’t engage in her “monologue”, however I feel it is important For me to write what happened there. I will also will contact citizen advice about discrimination that we have experienced.

Went here on a Saturday night with some friends for a bite and few drinks. The hole experience was great. Best staff I've been looked after for a long time! They couldn't do enough to make our evening as good as possible. Food was great. Wine was good. And the deserts we're really nice. Just a shame they had run out of lemonchello. So now we'll have to go back! Looking forward to it. Definitely recommend!

Very nice experience with a friendly atmosphere! The waiters were excellent and were very polite and helpful. The food was good and tasty. It’s nice to have a good local place. They were great at catering to our party and put us in two tables of four for covid safety. The only downside was that the starters came after the main course but apart from that it was great! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

A regular venue for date night before lock down, I worked late today and on the way home asked if they would be able to deliver a meal later on. They happily agreed, so on arriving home mentioned it to my wife. We ordered a meal, which was delivered in good time, and as good as we have enjoyed in the restaurant. Many thanks.

Best pizzas we've had in a long time and they were able to have them ready for collection within 20 minutes! Will definitely be returning to try out the rest of the menu soon.

Ciao has maintained its excellent standard and offers delicious, reasonably priced and ample take away during Covid. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful and we are fortunate in having Ciao nearby. Thank you Ciao!

Great atmosphere sat outside tonight. Service great with all the appropriate precautions and distancing which allowed us to have a relaxing meal which was extremely tasty.

Had a 10 inch meat feast pizza & I could of counted the meat on both hands. Will not be going back back again

Absolutely delightful. Even though I'd only been twice before, even though shut for afternoon break, they welcomed me like an old friend and had the chef make something for me especially. So kind and hospitable.

One of our favourite restaurants in Bristol. Excellent, fresh food with a very fair range to suit all tastes. Friendly, cheerful staff make you feel like one of the family without being intrusive. Do go - you won’t be disappointed!

Sadly, only people here for lunch midweek but apparently the owners were away. The waiter seemed rather nervous! However we had a really lovely lunch, the lasagne was a joy. Only complaint was the desserts were rather drowned with cream - profiteroles and tiramisu. But very reasonable prices and would love to return just for the lasagne! Just one tip - as their email on the web site didn't work - there are lots of spelling mistakes on the web site... find this rather disappointing...
