A takeaway rather than a restaurant. Quality was off the mark as a result. Service is mismatched. Forgot to add the burrata on a burrata pizza. If you want cheap wine and takeaway pizza, this is the place for you.

Great selection of Italian food - you'll definitely find something you'd like here. We just ordered multiple dishes to try and it was all fantastic packed with Mediterranean flavour!

The best smoked salmon pasta I ever head, the staff is very friendly and the food was ready quickly.

Currently closed, maybe for renovations. We are sorry to have missed it.

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and as someone who has visited Italy, it is at the top when it comes to ingredients and flavours. The staff are lovely and we always receive a warm welcome. The prices are very reasonable for the hugh portion sizes. Relaxed atmosphere. We usually pop in at Lunchtime and it is nice way to break up the working day. We have become regulars and look forward to many more visits. Very child friendly too. 😊

My fav for pizza, often get pick up. Not tried the pasta as pizza is so good.

After a wander up Gloucester rd we walked into an empty restaurant and asked if we had a booking! We did not but at this point we were shown to a table and the staff made us feel really awkward. Not sure what’s going on here but we left as every other place we visited were so welcoming but unfortunately not here! I’m sure the food is great but people skills are not!

We booked a table here a month in advance for a special occasion for a group of 16 on a Saturday. Restaurant called up a week before the event saying 'we don't take bookings on Saturdays we have to cancel your table'. Manager was very rude and blamed his waitress for taking the booking and he didn't even apologise to us. Now we only have a week to find another venue for our large group. Awful customer service from this restaurant, would not recommend it to anybody!

The best Calamari! Pizzas were amazing (the 14” was massive!) and staff were really nice!

The food was good, but unfortunately, one of the staff members was extremely rude. She practically threw my plate onto the table and didn't even say "enjoy your meal" or anything. She looks like she can’t be asked to smile at customer. She even made fun of my friend's eating style with other staff members. This was a disappointing experience, especially for an Italian restaurant, which is typically known for its friendly service. It's rather unfortunate and not in line with the usual Italian hospitality. I don’t I will go back again or recommend to any of my friends.

Me and a colleague were working late in December last year so wandered down Gloucester Road and decided to try this place and what a find it was. Been here since then more times than I can remember, I’ve taken family and friends aswell and no one has ever had a bad word to say. The pizzas are the best I’ve ever had, so good in fact that I haven’t enjoyed a pizza from anywhere else since having 1 here almost a year ago so every time I fancy pizza I only go here and I live quite a long way but it’s well worth the drive. Great staff, great value and always amazing food.

Worst staff attitude I have ever seen

13 of us for a family dinner and it was perfect. Young lady waiting on table was really pleasant and friendly yet very professional with it. No rush but there was certainly no delay when the order had been made and all meals arrived at the table with seconds of each other. As an Italian restaurant most opted for pizzas which were enormous, some for salds and I opted for the burger/chips. All were delicious but doggy bags were needed for a few pizza slices. Prices were pretty good as well, especially the drinks. Would highly recommend and will no doubt return sometime in the future.

Went to sit in this restaurant then went next door to the new cafe which has been built by them. Was enjoying my time there until i could hear what the boss was like. Didn’t have a lot of staff and all of them were young girls, he spoke to them like they were dirt on the ground, pretty sure i seen him push one of them aswell. Shouting at them infront of customers and swearing at them! My friend has visited here and has mentioned the boss being absolutely horrible to his staff!!! Probably why he has barely any. Shame as food was nice/ok but will NOT be supporting someone who is like that.

We ordered a Penne Bolognese and a Burrata Pizza, spent £28.90. Everything was very delicious!! The only comment I have to make is that we arrived around 9:45 pm and were told that the restaurant would close at 10:30 pm (Google said it closed at 11:00 pm), kind of speeding us up. A little later another couple arrived and were informed that they were no longer accepting orders. In theory it closes at 22:30, in practice it closes before 22:00. Other than that, the order arrived super quickly and everything was very good!

Great place to eat. Friendly welcome, good quality food and it's a BYO. Can't go wrong

Amazing lunch! We opted for two children’s pizza meals which were huge! My six year old proclaimed it the best meal ever. I had a lovely coffee and I’d recommend the mango ice cream for pud for the kids. The owner was attentive, friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely go back.

Me and my sister randomly wanted Italian on mother's day. We rang around 7 places and all were booked. We found this place and it was practically empty. We were dubious because of how empty it was but omg it was amazing. The food here is fantastic, so delicious. The portions are massive. A kids pizza is HUGE! we left with so much food. They are super friendly and helpful too. Plenty of vegan options aswell. Easily just as good if not better than all the larger more well known Italians. I will absolutely be going back.

Main let-down was the food. Pizza base is not authentic, pasta was very watery and general tastiness of food was mediocre.

Our favourite place for pizza and pasta. We enjoyed as a family.

Update Oct 2022 Went for lunch, prices seem to have gone up a bit, now £15 for most options in pizza and pasta, had the eggs in tomato sauce, and lasagna, still very good, although difficult to find a cheaper option. Spaghetti carbonara was very good, good price and service, nice terrace if the sun is out. Update Apr 2021, now with covered terrace and covid measures in place. Fantastic 4 cheese pizza, also great calamari. Wine and coffee also very good.

Such a lovely place to eat and our pizzas were handmade and cooked in a pizza oven! Best pizza I’ve had in a while, will definitely going back. Mine was just a tad too oily but it wasn’t a problem for me.

I went with my daughter and grandchildren on the off chance and so glad we did amazing food and portion size. The staff was very polite and helpful the food was fresh and very delicious we will definitely be going again.

Great location and excellent portion sizes :) However the food was nothing special. The dough and marinara felt and tasted store bought. Would recommend for families, not foodies, sorry!

Very disappointing, won’t be visiting again. Firstly, rude arrogant cocky waiter, secondly overpriced (£13) salad, it was basically a plate of lettuce but was supposed to be a thinly sliced beef salad - there were 4 little bits of wafer thin beef, with no dressing, I asked for some balsamic vinegar and the cocky waiter tried to give me some Sarsons malt vinegar, there was no bread with it a complete rip off. I asked the waiter if he was the boss, surprise surprise he said no, of course if he was the boss he wouldn’t have offered such a terrible experience. Avoid, much better options on Gloucester Road.

Lunch meal: starter (bruschettas) and main (spaghetti di mare), good size portions and presentation. prices are a bit high for what the restaurant offers considering overall.

We eat here all the time as locals & love the place, also frequently as 4 of us with our friends who come all across town to eat here & love it. Last weekend we had an extended family occasion of 10 of us for dinner. The 4 young ones who'd never been before loved their food, the atmosphere & friendly service. They were raving about it. So Fiorentina has gained another group of regulars as they will return & bring friends. And so it goes on growing. This resto doesn't need to advertise itself, word of mouth via family & friends does the job. Thank you guys, we'll be back again soon R & P. x

Loved this place ! Friendly from the moment we booked ( over WhatsApp) . Relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff. The food was incredible- large starter portions , a wide range of large and delicious pizzas . And you can take in your own alcohol for a reasonable corkage charge . Highly recommended

We live locally & eat at La Fiorentina all the time. Our friends who live on the other side of the city cross town especially to eat here with us, their absolute favourite. We had dinner here last Saturday night. It's essential to book at weekends, people were being turned away or waiting for tables. Because it's that good! We both ate the Spaghetti Fruitta de Mare & it was superb as always. A cheery, lively atmosphere. Great service despite being busy & as always a warm welcome from the owner who can't do enough for you. This resto is much loved by locals & also those who come here in search of great Italian food, freshly cooked with top quality ingredients. The chef has been here a long time & is second to none. A gem on the Glos Rd

Came here for an impromptu Sunday afternoon meal and the food was fab. Hearty portions of tasty dishes. Lovely, relaxed family atmosphere. Kids menu was really good value.

La Fiorentina is definitely one of my faves in Bristol for an Italian , well priced / located in the heart of a buzzing Gloucester road . Great fresh food done the traditional Italian way , great portions sizes too !! I highly recommend there pizzas they are huge , full of topping and flavour ! Really well cooked too ! Service here is always pleasant and attentive ! Thanks for another pleasant lunch!

Excellent, a cozy little Italian with a fabulous staff and huge selection on the menu with amazing and unique pizzas, wide ranging pastas and the best restaurant salad I've had. All while being affordable and so noticeably fresh. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Had a lovely takeaway from this restaurant. We had 3 pasta dishes, a cheese burger and garlic bread. It was ready quickly, absolutely delicious and still piping hot when we got home. We demolished the lot. The staff were so kind and gave us some tasty polenta cake. We've eaten in there before but not head takeaway but we definitely will again. The pizzas look amazing...next time! Really nice Italian food in a Trattoria style place on Gloucester Road. Pasta comes with garlic bread & salad as standard. Also a great pint of Moretti on tap. Recommended!

Beautiful pizza, really tasty and original topping combinations. We had the duck pizza which was different and delicious, the Buffalo chicken was equally as good, and the plain margarita for the fussy eater was eaten without fuss! Very friendly and kind management and staff. Will definitely be having pizza from here again, especially as its 3 for 2 if you collect!

Been here 4-5 times and decided to review because I find the review titled “very average” very dodgy! It has the whiff of a local competitor about it. So In the interest of fairness. We’ve always had a very warm welcome and nothing is too much. It’s a cosy place and the food is always beautifully presented and the individual ingredients are of good quality. The pizzas are handmade to order and everything is generous. The value for money is excellent. I can’t comment on the cocktails but even the house white is very good. There’s lots of competition on that stretch of the glos road but you won’t go wrong here.

Service was really good, food and drinks came out fast and its a nice place to sit and talk to friends over food. They had made a mistake and missed my meal, lots of apologies and it came out fast.. portions are really good size.. 2 of us had the carbonara and were a little underwhelmed by it. Pizzas are delicious and well sized for the price.

Lovely friendly local restaurant with competitive prices & a menu with something for everyone. We enjoyed a Chicken Ceasar Salad & Halumi salad. Both were delicious but could have done with more washing to remove the grit from the salad leaves.

Service and food was excellent!

the place looks good so attractive to try the food but the pizzas were average quality, very chewy and tasteless. Each of us had only few slices as we were so hungry. I wouldn't recommend this place and will not order again. Given it 2 stars only for the atmosphere.

We dropped in here on Saturday to have coffee. We were lured by the outsdie tables in the shade - it was a hot day. We only had coffee but it was served with a separate jug of milk and a biscotta. The coffee was outstnading, full flavoured and rich to the last drop. The water served were it was a delicious aftertaste.

Got the salmon pasta, portion was generous and food was still really hot when it was delivered. Tasted amazing and good amount of salmon in there. Really yummy and good quality food. (Took a little while but that was down to Deliveroo I believe)

If I could, I would've given a 3.5 stars... the staff couldn't be nicer but the food was just nice but nothing outstanding. The salad was slightly dry (season wise) and had the hardest avocado I've ever tried. Pasta was delicious but pizzas were ok. Good thing, there are 2 pizza sizes (12 and 14"). Another good thing, there is an outdoors space
